You must be wrong if that is your standpoint, as it is better reasonable that those contacted stand a better chance of being selected.

Begin to think of the time that would be required to start making contacts with someone who has not been requested to supply necessary documents for admissions and visa applications after the publishing of the award list considering most schools have either closed or about being closed for admissions.

If it be so, it could mean that those who chose UPMC and University of Lyon have been contacted but they just decided to stay mute on this platform. Well God knows. It is well

Was IFP your first choice? The Mai says ' one of your choices'. Does it mean even it's not the first choice u can be considered?

The final list is the mail successful applicants have been getting. If you haven't gotten any mail so far, then pray that you get as there just two more schools ( UPMC and University of Lyon ) to contact successful applicants. The final list is going to be composed of all that were sent mails and not those that weren't. The only option is to pray

A friend of mine also received the email after 12am today! He's not among the people that were contacted for China recently

The fact that those who chose Grenoble have been contacted, what's the probability that others who chose the remaining French schools have not been contacted? They could just be keeping quiet on Nairaland

Is there another list? The three countries I the FGC are complete. They've sent mails to Germany,China and France recipients. Or should we still be expecting another list

Hello guys. for the FGC people. information reaching me has it that the selection is done on state basis. hence..somebody can have the lowest score and still be picked because he happens to be the highest in his state. up to 10 people might be selected from each state.

It's the other way. The image is what gets you to the interview stage. Once there they no longer use those criteria but performance at the interview. And that's where the mercies of God comes into play

The message sent was a general message to all that PTDF recommended to DAAD whether they completed their DAAD application or not. So if you are told you have an existing application just chilax

It is likely that the 90 people, 78 MSc and 12 PhD have been recommended by PTDF for DAAD Germany Scholarship.

DAAD Scholarship have the final say.

If you chose Germany or not, don't be scared, You might be among those recommended to France or China. That is the advantage of choosing the three countries.

Even if France/China were not first choices

I think we’re really helping ourselves here! Having contacted PTDF Scholarship Help Desk: 08105…. On the website, he proved some of our assertions here are actually wrong.

He stated that the people sent mail today for DAAD Update are those who made Germany as one of their choices and who either didn’t complete their application on DAAD portal or have a missing document to update.

Therefore in case you initially registered but got the mail, you’ve something to do on that portal, but if you didn’t get the mail and Germany is one of your choices, then you completed the required registration. This statement is according to info from PTDF

That's not true. We were all told to choose a school from each country so virtually all or majority did that. That means they are to send to all since all had Germany as either first, second or third. There are people who didn't complete the DAAD application and still didn't get any message. The gist is this: If u got the message rejoice and if you didn't get, be hopeful

Who told you? France and China would not have group language course like the one organised by DAAD for 3-6months.

If you are selected for Germany, you'll get your mail. If don't get the mail, then you are not selected. Pasting a screenshot for you wouldn't change these. The German contingents are notified now because they have some processes to complete with DAAD, and the language course will soon start.

Others (China and France) would soon be notified. Most (if not all) of those that received mail today had Germany as first or only choice.

But France and China also have language courses

My brother Ptdf will apply for you if u are selected; they have it all covered. Besides it's UK, a place where you can be given admission on the same day you apply as long as you have the financial backing

The documents you uploaded matter. This is the first stage of screening. Not everyone that applied for PTDF is selected for interview. Why? Because some people would be screened out based on the documents they uploaded.

So pay attention to the documents you upload.

I think choosing of interview venue is over. Logged into my page but the application refuses to go further after my personal details page. I guess my interview center will be chosen for me since I couldn't even get to that page though I submitted on Tuesday. Wish I didn't try to edit my application because apart from not being able to choose a place for interview, the local government appearing on my overview page is incorrect. God help me

Same here! It even changed my local government. Though I was trying to edit to choose my place of interview having submitted some days prior
