Dindondin:It's a subtle warning to him not to set his foot in Nigeria. Since he declared intention to contest for Lagos Governorship in 2027, he lost the Aso Rock occupiers. We all know that Seyi Tinubu is the next Governor of Lagos State. There's nothing anybody can do about it. If anyone dare contest against him, the Obasa treatment awaits |

A Philanthropist, Mr. Lucky Adimike, founder and chief Executive Officer of Lucky Foundation, has made a significant impact on his community by empowering 38 individuals with ₦19.5 million during the Faithspiration Initiative’s third annual Night of Praise, Worship, and Mega Empowerment held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Awka Etiti, in the Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. In his opening remarks, Rev. Fr. George Adimike articulated the mission of the Faithspiration Initiative, stating that it aims to reignite faith in society. “This is Season 3 of the Faithspiration Youth Forum. I am pleased to see so many young people in attendance. We hope to have an even larger gathering next year to empower up to 50 individuals,” he expressed. The empowerment event benefited 38 individuals, each receiving ₦500,000, while two recipients were awarded ₦750,000 each. Additionally, comedian Valentine Obinwanne, popularly known as Onye Obodo, received ₦500,000, bringing the total donations to ₦19.5 million. Before the funds were distributed, Rev. Fr. George Adimike, who serves as the Spiritual Director of the Faithspiration Initiative, urged the beneficiaries to make wise investments with the money. He emphasized that the training they had received was designed to equip them for productive ventures rather than to squander their newfound resources. The Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Paul Ihebighi, also expressed gratitude to Mr. Adimike, noting that this year’s empowerment initiative exceeded previous efforts. As the sole sponsor of the event, Mr. Adimike encouraged beneficiaries to apply the skills they acquired during their training and to empower others by next year. He shared that his philanthropic efforts are driven by a covenant with God, positioning the initiative as a model for others in Awka Etiti to follow. “Use the funds judiciously, as I have done this according to God’s directive, activate what God created in you, and you will be greater” he advised and called for further support from wealthy individuals and indigenes to uplift their communities.” Mrs. Loveline Adimike, wife of Lucky Adimike, encouraged the beneficiaries to invest wisely. “God has blessed us so I always encourage my husband to empower people and support the less privileged,” she said. Beneficiaries of the program included Obiora Ugochukwu, Afoma Umechukwu, Ejike Nwabueze, Nkechi Okoli, Ogbaji Chinedu, Udechukwu Njideka, Jideofor Onyeka, Obi Chigozie Mathias, Nduka Faith, and Chukwuma Udeaja, among others. It is noteworthy that, on December 27, 2024, at the same venue, Mr. Adimike had previously distributed food palliatives to 200 families, providing 400 bags of 25kg of rice and beans. The event, themed “Walking in Dominion, Marching into Greatness,” also included spiritual teachings from Rev. Fr. John Bosco Igwe, who delivered a sermon addressing the interplay between culture, tradition, and Christian faith. Fr. Igwe highlighted the four dimensions of culture: economic, political, social, and religious while stressing the industrious nature of the Igbo people. He cautioned against engaging in ritualistic money-making practices, asserting their disconnect from genuine Igbo tradition, and reinforced the importance of embracing Christianity as a force for education and development. https://von.gov.ng/philanthropist-empowers-38-with-%E2%82%A619-5-million-in-anambra/
