Before now, Nigeria was subsidizing production of International Passport with N28,000 per one.

Meaning that for every Internation Passport issued to you, N28,0000 is paid by the federal government.

So I ask, why should a country that is no longer subsidizing Petrol that is used by all Nigerians, be subsidizing International Passport that is used by less than ONE PERCENT of our population?

If it cost you over N300,000 paid to US embassy to apply for visa, which you are not guaranteed of getting, it sould not be too expensive for you to pay M100,000 to Nigerian government for national passport upon which the visa will be stamped
