Politics / Re: Oduah Shuns House Committee Hearing As Cars Presented Are Different by Samanthawebb: 6:53pm On Oct 31, 2013
Jman06: You are such a dunce to have typed those trash without even pinpointing anything that incriminates the minister in the whole scandal and yet calling her a thief. If u were intelligent enough u would have thought of why Odua did not go to face the house of reps commitee. She simply did not go because she had no hands in the purchase of the cars.Coscaris and NCAA DG are in a better position to defend the car deal, not the minister.
You lack understanding. I pity u.

We are not exactly stagnant. But we have "slow progress" even worse than a snail.
Education / Re: Polytechnic Lecturers Commence Strike Today by Samanthawebb: 5:15pm On Oct 04, 2013
noblezone: Good development!

Since ASUU (their elder brother) IS ASKING FOR 3 Trillion
ASUP should demand for nothing less than 2 Trillion!

Please, does anyone know if the resident doctors have made their own demand and if it is up to 5 Trillion?

More associations should join the strike and demand their own Trillion.

As for me, the sooner we split Nigeria so that the regions can grow on their own pace, the better!
Men you are funny.

Nairaland / General / Nigerian Accent Voted 5th Most Sexiest In The World By CNN. by Samanthawebb: 3:04pm On Aug 23, 2013
In the unending pursuit of love, or its less eternal surrogate, the right accent can be as attractive as bright eyes, a beaming smile and a parabolic backside.
For world travelers, a far-flung tongue promises the unknown, confirms the known and dispels the thought-we-knew.
But no accent is sexy when it’s strong enough to crush a beer can. Which means not all accents are created equal.

Famous tongues: King Sunny Adé, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Okhai.

Dignified, with just a hint of willful naiveté, the deep, rich “oh’s” and “eh’s” of Naija bend the English language without breaking it, arousing tremors in places other languages can’t reach. Kinda makes the occasional phone scam worth the swindle.

Sounds like: The THX intro with teeth.
