Good afternoon intending Corp members or I will rather say Otondos loading..

I served 2years ago and I can say the 3weeks camp exercise was fun.

Briefly let me advice some of you who have not select your desired locations.

Nigeria has 6 geo-political zones: North Central (FCT, Kwara, Kogi, Benue, Nassarawa, etc), North East(Borno, Yobe, Gombe, etc), North West, South South, South West, South east.

[size=20pt]Places with the best NYSC camps are, Osun, Ogun, Gombe, Lagos, FCT, Oyo , Cross river and few[/size]

Places with the Worst NYSC camps are Niger, Akwa Ibom, Edo and few others.

Places with the best career opportunities (Banks, Professional Trainings & Companies) are All South West, South South, South east, FCT, Ilorin, lokoja, Nassarawa, jos, Kaduna, kano municipal and maiduguri.

Places with business opportunities are Kano municipal (sabo gari), Lagos, Aba, Benin, Ontisha, Ibadan, Makurdi, and few others.

States Governments that pay Corp members well are FCT, Lagos, Crossrivers and Rivers.

Places with poor/worst internet facilities are common in if not all northern hemispheres except FCT, Kaduna, kano, katsina and maiduguri.

Meanwhile 85 percent of people serving in North are posted as teachers at their place of primary assignment

While 60 percent of people posted to south served as teachers at their place of primary assignment.

Oyo camp

The NYSC orientation camp, Iseyin Oyo state
has been described as one of the worst camps
in Nigeria, cos it looks more like a prison yard
than a camp for fully matured Nigerian
graduates.
Corp members serving in the state say getting
potable water inside the camp is hell, the
camp's modern bathrooms are a no-go area as
well, forcing them to bathe outside in makeshift
bathrooms.

wait o. Is SOPS now a seperate school? I didnt do it bt my engineering friends said its simpler dan thermo. I dont like ur dept when ur knowlege is not applicable in solving any p bt when it is , i love it. We use some of una laws to solve p, same with una brodas C and S. I am still looking for one man since primary sch. Btw , be proud of ur course cos its among d best, u can work anywia.

SOSC was spitted to Physical Science(SOPS) and Biological Science(SOBS)
It could have been ok for him but majority complain bitterly, and its actually the "easiest part", and as I say when u enter in toto, then its a different story. Every bit of knowledge gained in my course is applicable. I'm proud of my course, its just that I keep somethings to self, will share only when requested.
