Education / Re: 25% Requirement: Solve This Mathematics Word Problem by samdemmis: 9:19pm On Apr 19, 2023
If 25% of vote in Abuja (FCT) is solely required to win presidential election in Nigeria, every candidate will just focus on winning more than 75% of FCT vote. Let’s look at it from this angle: if a candidate wins all the 36 states with majority votes but failed to secure 25% in Abuja, is the candidate a winner or not? During Obasanjo’s regime , it has been declared by the court and constitution that Abuja has the same status as other 36 states. The constitution is not ambiguous.

Hello, Gurus in the house.
My Husband's License bears a different date of birth(10th April 19XX) to the rest of his documents(1st Jan 19XX). Only the year is similar.
He has written to the Nursing council Abuja but this is 6 months now, no feedback.
If he doesn't succeed in the correction of the data will it affect him during the course of his application or is there anyway we can expedite the process. Please we need your advise.

Could you please send me an email? I was in your shoe but just resolved it within 2 weeks.

Hello everybody in the house. I need our candid advice and guidance.
I am a registered nurse in Nigeria with over ten years of experience and presently in USA on F2 visa - student dependent visa. I started the processing of my CGFNS registration last year October.
In January I received a rejection from CGFNS because my date birth defers from what Board of Nursing provide on my transcript, instead of 1983, BON wrote my year of birth 1980 on my transcripts, the day and month are correct though. I have never changed my age before and all other documents bear my date of birth correctly, even my present nursing licence has the correct date of birth. The transcript sent by my school of nursing also has the correct date of birth and my international passport has the same date of birth.
I have already obtained a letter from my Nursing school addressed to BON as my date of birth from nursing school has no error. I am presently in the USA as I moved here in January to join my spouse.
What step I could take to correct this mistake; my CGFNS verification has been put on hold without a way forward? I don't know anybody that can be of assistance or help me out in this predicament? Does anybody know anyone in BON, Abuja that can help me out because I am not in Nigeria? CGFNS gave me two option: either for BON to sent a letter to them and correct my birthday or I should send another transcript to them with the correct date of birth.
Please, I really need everybody assistance. Thanks

Hello everybody,

I just finished my Msc. program in Germany and wish to apply for Australian PR but I some challenges with respect to application for PR. I had already gained six years of working experience in Nigeria before moving to Germany two years ago. My question are:
1. Should I be silent about Msc and use my Nigerian Bsc alone for my application?
2. How do I prove years of work experience without working in the last two years?
3. If it is possible to prove the work experience, what and what documents must I submit especially for the assessment with Engineers Australia?
Gurus in the house please I need your candid advice.... Thanks..

Please, do you know if one can claim points from job experience gotten before the highest evaluated degree?

For example, one got his Masters in 2014, but had about 5 years job experience before that time, will those 5 years prior to the Masters count?
Thank you.

NNBB2012:

Great! the breakdown of your points as follow: Age-30,Edu-15,IELTS-10=55points +5points(State nomination)=60points. You are eligible for visa 190. All you need to do now which is the most critical one is your assessment with Engineers Australia. You will need to write CDR. check their website for information regarding that.
Thank you. I will it start right now.

Your application will fly . Search for my previous posts on this forum which detailed steps to take that will leadd to PR. You will definitely write CDR for your assessment with Engineers Australia. The 7.5band IELTS is it in each of the components? What is your age? Age=?, Edu=15points, Expe=0points, IELTS(7,7,7,7)=10points, confirm that.
Thank you so much. I am 31years old with IELTS of 7.5 in each components.
