Update on those trades: I took small portion of profit from gold cos I needed to take it back to D1 from H4; now I'm back to D1 trading gold, GJ and GU. This is where I'm @ at the moment.

Gold currently running 203.9pips
GJ @ 3.3pips

My plan on GU for Monday close is to re-short GU if Monday close is bearish, if otherwise, i.e bullish, I will check to see if a resistance is broken before longing it.

Reading this, just helped my mental health because all trades I’ve been making on my demo account are just reds and no blues. I tried making technical analysis where I draw horizontal lines of which I don’t even know what they mean and when to enter the market for buy or sell and I’m getting burnt seriously and it’s having effect on my confidence to trade.

Worst part is I read pdfs frequently but application is zero :/ maybe I should just keep trying as this is a stage of growth in learning.

A losing week or month doesn't mean you are doing bad.
Nothing works 100% all the time.
My candid advice,
Be thorough with your plan,
Get a 10 year data on your platform,
Slowly and patiently use a simulator to test your strategy.

I have decided to end this challenge after 131days of awesome trading. At this point I am thinking of the next challenge I will go for.
It's been 4 months plus of steady pips. To everyone that doubted me, don't dream less. Big dreams are allowed.
When I am ready for another challenge, I will create a thread for it.
In addition, some people will tell you trading without SL is suicide mission. That's a big lie. I have seen so many traders that trade without SL. This challenge lasted for 131 days with over 1k positions opened and non had SL. Trust me any news invent that would affect you adversely when trading a PROVEN system would probably jump the SL.
In a nutshell, trade what works for you. So long as u are making the pips. Take time to demo trade and prove your system is worthy of a live account.

Congratulations, bro. I will follow in this footsteps. My own na $24 to $1,000

B might be stressful because you have to then send like an invitation mail which on NL is not always a direct process.

I believe if possible it doesn't need to be locked. Even in December 1st anyone can join, so long fxblue can show the performance on the account through out the year.

Performance is measured from the first equity figure published by your trading software after the competition starts to the last equity figure published before the competition ends.

Is it possible to set the performance to be measured from beginning of this year?
Since its a yearly challenge thing.

To join, is it the (A) trader requesting, or the (B) organiser sending invitation?
If possible requesting would be better to ease the stress on you,
Once the request carries a username name similar to NL username

December will make it 2 years since I took forex trade serious. Honestly you have not lost any thing compare to what I lost last year and early this year. I have fund my account with $850, $750, $650, $430, $210.

And $100 many times I have even lost count on that, I have grown $76 to $680 and I have grown $100 to $950 in 3 days and lost it on the 4day, I have been able to withdrawn close to $1000 since I started trading.

The money that I collected from federal government as a loan for Covid19 N475,000, I lost all in forex trade last year. But I have advanced a lot than last year and early this year, atleast you can attest to that in our competition.

No body is taking away patient and discipline in forex trade. But if there is a way you can grow fast with patient and discipline why not do that. "It's only Africans that brags with suffering"

If you fund $100 and you give urself a target of 10% (this is very hard for you to do as a human) in a month because of patient and discipline. But if you are registered with a prop firm with $100 and they give you $10,000 to trade with and take 50% profit. And you give your self a target of 10%, which is $1000 and you take 50% of the profit which is $500. At the end of the month tell me which of the 10% is more achievable with discipline and patient.

Please let's not brag with suffering.

I'll encourage, if you have a strategy, already, to work on PATIENCE and DISCIPLINE. I lacked those two before I came to NL FTA and after getting disqualified, recently, in its contest. But right now, I am beginning to see the beauty in Patience, Discipline and Stop Loss

I'll tell you dis for free, again, if you do not work on those two qualities above, you might still fail with a Prop. Firm Account
