In trading you really need maximum concentration and discipline, today i blowed my account of $534 trading the news, I went opposite direction with 9 positions, I went mad after that, while taking my bath I realized the mistake i made on USDJPY. I would have made $1200 from that market, I just learnt trading the news (cpi) two weeks ago. I felt like giving up, this life everything you worked for can be lost under few minutes. All my analysis, all the fuel i burn, skipping meal sometimes all gone because of just a silly mistake. I have $100 left. I’m just crazy right now after converting my lost to naira, I can’t say this to someone i know physically, just have to pour it out here.

I don't analyze with indicator I just use it for confirmation on my real system which is if dollar falls gold rise and vise versa, and I have a 95% win rate.

Am aware indicator are lagging cause my mentor told me that but I just use it for confirmation as I said earlier, and am profitable 100%.

And also time which is a very crucial part of my system.

Like me I take one trade per day am ok with that even if it a loss or a win, if you are able to discipline yourself outside the charts, then you can do it on the charts.

Yeah my people my people....quick update on my 5k and 10k stellar light account.
After securing almost 2% profits on both accounts I later lost it to nfp release and Powell talk talk.
The account now down by 1%
I reduce my risk to 0.25% from 0.5%
reduce my max open trades from 8 to 5.
Max sl is now at 38 pips.
Fingers crossed 🤞

Comparing gold in the 2016 Us Presidential election year and this year Presidential election, I can see something similar. Rally then distribution then decline, though we will have one hell of a decline this time. Trump won that election and it was relatively a good 4 years for gold. Biden won and the metal just went sideways through out. If this election is between the two of them, I can see Trump winning again. Well either ways, the next president will have more favourable policies for gold.
