And I failed to maintain good discipline again. I fulfilled the first promise to mysef by not opening Mt5 till last month ends. Yesterday I made a promise of keeping the trade till after NFP or CPI but I failed just because I saw +$17 and I'm afraid of returning that to the market that has already gave me almost -$100 .. I closed this manually this morning just because of a strong divergence on H1 RSI which might actually be significant or not....First time of leaving a trade for more than a week, the next one will be better ...

I mistakenly entered a trade twice with 0.05 lot size. This was as a result of my phone screen being overly sensitive and also the mistake happened because I was trading my maven account at the same time I was trading darwinex which I had to reduce my lot by half but returning back to darwinex I forgot to reset the lot back to 0.10 because I wanted to catch the move of my setup.

I didn't even know until now but I've closed the trade immediately.

Please, am I disqualified?

It's normal...just apply it to your method of tracking support n resistance, use ATR like I do , it's a lot easier.

To understand the rangy thing concept, you have to start looking at every day and every week as a range instead of a strict trend.

Just observe how xauusd is behaving today in spite of market printing a bearish bar on the daily...

I assume that you are more of a day trader with wide stop loss of like 100-200 pips. If you are like that, you may not need to understand and guard ya self so much agst trading tight ranges....you can cover ya self agst it by widening your stop loss further.

But if you are a trader with tight stop loss of 10-40 pips, I dey necessary to understand this range concept.. it is the reason why analysis can be correct but still you go chop loss like 2-times but at the 3rd time you win with like 1:1 or 1:1.5, then you start shouting na me....I tell them say I be baba reversal.

Then you have like two weeks when all your profits go vanish.

This ATR, boss, tell me how to set (default or personal setting) and use it. You don dey mention am for long now. I am interested now

I'm in Nasdaq short with the full lot size of 0.1x2 on the challenge account but I set a sell limit on UJ expecting it to get triggered later in the morning, but I just checked it now an I saw that it was triggered, I immediately closed it.

Please tell me I'm not disqualified

Last week indices was bae, especially us30 aka the beast. To be honest, I realized that when you trade with strict money management and proper lot size, you can trade any asset class irrespective of it's volatility though. This is just my humble opinion and I stand to be corrected by anyone who disagree with me. I am open minded and willing to learn.... Cheers

My outlook for NAS100;
I am anticipating price to reject off the weekly volume imbalance on the daily chart after price reprice into it. If price does that, the FVG residing above the weekly VI should act as a breakaway gap and that should keep price lower...
There's a confluence of volume imbalance on the 4h chart, as price made a volume imbalance inside of the weekly volume imbalance on the 4h chart. I would be anticipating price to find resistance there at the VI before pushing lower (internal range liquidity to external range liquidity)...
