Market is ranging most of the time...

Whatever move you pick by 7-8 am will most likely be reversed by 2-3 pm or by 4-5 pm

You have two choices

Become a swing trader with very wide stop loss or stay a day trader who works within a specific timeline

For me, I have decided i will only start taking trades after 2pm except i am looking at safety pairs which tend to move during asian session

'Safety pairs' are pairs that are barely affected by major news.


From the little I know, I can tell you that NZDCHF and AUDCHF and AUDNZD will not move more than 50 pips even if Powell shouts from today till tomorrow or if US CPI drops. '

Despite this, still bear in mind that the market ranges most of the time and have an exit plan.

If i am to trade any other pair apart from these, i will wait till 2pm to consider trading and if i think it is a reversal of the 12pm 4h bar, my entry plan is to trade above or below that bar, market rarely ever reverses at the close of the 12 pm bar - the trend usually continues to a key level before reversing abruptly... see eurusd chart from yesterday and throughout the months.

If you try reversing from 12pm 4h chart bar close on eurusd, you will lose 8/10 times if you use a stop loss of 20 pips ...i've tested this severally and gotten burnt a lot so I can tell you clearly that such a move is like playing 100 naira to win 1 million in betting.


The one time you win will convince you that you have mastered the reversal but when you look at the big picture and you see the many small losses incurred by thinking this way, you will be shocked.

Always Wondered why no loss man Humbletrader was feeling likka god nd claiming 100% strategy and sudden obsession with gold(fast win fast loss).


Just testing various scalping strategies yesterday and the market was quite respectful, but damn!! Scalping consumes time and focus.

Although, Oluwayemipeter has taken trades on his/her account, except for Adesewa22. One thing is certain, alternate accounts full this in-house Sit Up challenge. Secondly I discover I did well in our first competition here as a scalper.
since then I read a comment that I was trading like an animal I decided to learn and try swing trading that shit has bleeped me up so much this past few months.

Now I have looked back n seen I do well as a scalper instead of trying to catch the whole pips in the market.

When peeps say them dey see plenty noise there, I dey see something else there . Just like you, when I went beyond 1 hour TF, then, body no carry am, I returned 'home' .

But for this Sit Up, I dey prepared to Sit Up for real, cos I know what to do now to replicate that swing trade picture I shared earlier. Play don taya me 😪. Since mama dey hard to make proud, make I make Infofirst and his efforts proud 💯

I think I know. Last weekend, on Sunday market open, I set limits on the darwinex account thinking it was starting as the week opens. Then I asked you if the challenge has started and you said October first, I went to delete the orders, I haven't taken any trade on the account. The limits didn't get filled.
