The last time I checked, shorts are needed to be worn so that our butts could be covered. Vests are needed to be worn to cover the upper torso of the body. Shoes are needed to be worn as as to protect our feet. The colors should be white because that is the standard color for stuffs like that. Though they would be given to us in camp, from what we've heard, they are of low quality and spoil easily. Hence, we go to the market to buy them so that we can have extras.

Let me give an example of why I had to change.

There was this day while working with him at Oniru Estate, Lekki, we needed to use a Fixed Wireless GSM terminal which we forgot to buy. He told the client it sells for 15,000 naira. He then gave me 10,000 naira from the amount, told me it sells for 9000 naira while the extra 1000 naira is to be used as my transport. I was to buy it at oshodi.

I immediately knew there was absolutely no way I will buy it at 9000n. What then will be my own gain? How about the transportation stress I'll go through from oniru to oshodi.

To cut the long story short, I got to the market, searched and searched, walked through the whole of the market and guess what, I bought it for 7,000 naira and pocketed the remaining 2K.

I don't like waka waka joor. The thing is I usually have a particular price in mind which is based on the average price that stuff is sold. So if the seller goes below that, fine. If he/she doesn't, that is when the shakara trick comes to play. But if it doesn't work out, I just pay. No time to be checking shops upon shops
