You are correct . I think everyone knows that
The rRonaldinho nickname has nothing to do with being Junior?
No. I have read a article who say that "inho" come from small height. Because the soccer players are short. Inho in portuguese mean "pequenininho" a short person.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: What Do You Know Of The Name Ronaldinho by Samishiba: 7:42pm On Jul 23, 2021
aribisala0:
Ronaldinho is a Portuguese NICKNAME meaning Little or Small Ronaldo used when there is more than one Ronaldo in a group
It is not usually a real or proper name

As such it is not a name that usually follows a person into old gae but we have all come to know one person as Ronaldinho

His name is

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira

He was called Ronaldinho because of the presence in the team of his senior

Ronaldo de Lima

What lot of people do not know is that
When Ronald de Lima joined the Brazillin team he too was called Ronaldinho because of another lesser known Ronaldo( a defender} in the national team
Ronaldo Guiaro

In 1996 at the Atlanta Olympice Ronaldo de Lima wore a jersey with the name Ronldinho
https://twitter.com/i/status/1306911344096993281
The suffix - INHO is quite common in Brazil as in the appellation "Junior". Many Brazilians have "Junior" in their names and may be called Juninho which means Little Junior. Several other names carry the suffix INHO for the same reason

So very likely in Brazil if your name is Ronaldo you would be called Ronaldinho at some stage in your life but one person seems to be carrying it into old age
Junior is when the kid have the name of the grandfather. For example if the grandfather name is Ronaldo the kid name is Ronaldo Junior. Some Brazilians put the name Junior if the son have the name of the grandfather.

I am really pleased that you found this interesting and have shared with us.

But yes, as far as I know, there is no free birth control. Only a handful of organisations offer such services and their reach are usually very localized and restricted.

People on health insurance may be able to access the birth control they need, but this assumes that the person is enlightened enough to know that they need health insurance and can afford it.

Majority of Nigerias population are intellectually and/or financially challenged. The government is so weak it can't provide for them.
Thank you for the asnwer. In my country we have free birth control and free condoms for the population. That is so sad and disgusting because Nigeria is one of most richest African countries and the population don't have free birth control. Because corrupt African politicians don't care
CultureBirth Control And Culture by Samishiba(op): 5:20am On Jul 10, 2021
I saw a documentary about Makoko slums. The documentary shows Makoko hospital. He shows a mother who gave birth the fifth son.
The reporter ask for her " why do you have a lot of children if you're poor?". The asnwer is a very disturbing for me" God gave me the children and i cannot decide when the children will come". The asnwer is a cultural thing? In Nigeria don't exist free birth control? Or these people are aware of the existence of birth control? Or is a cultural problem?

I disagree with the bolded.

Hausa seems to be the most widely spoken language in Africa, that is after Afrikaans, not Yoruba. Although Yoruba is spoken in about two more west African countries including Benin Republic. It is also a strong language in Brazil where the yorubas and yoruba culture is a significant part of the Brazilians.

I however agree with the rest of your submissions.
Yoruba is not a strong language in Brazil. Only in African Brazilians religion candomblé. A small minority religion

Somebody here has already mentioned Haiti...

I totally agree with that. It has to be Haiti.

Haiti is a replica of Africa in the new world. Brazil doesn't even come close enough in my opinion.

The next candidate should be Brazil or Cuba.

**but seriously OP, does Brazil really have up to a million blacks? sad Present your source.
The proportion of Brazilians declaring themselves white was down from 53.7% in 2000, when Brazil's last census was held.
But the proportion of people declaring themselves black or mixed race has risen from 44.7% to 50.7%, making African-Brazilians the official majority for the first time.
"Among the hypotheses to explain this trend, one could highlight the valorisation of identity among Afro-descendants," Brazil's census board, the IBGE, said in its report.
According to the census, 7.6% of Brazilians said they were black, compared with 6.2% in 2000, and 43.1% said they were mixed race, up from 38.5%.
In 1872, when Brazil's first census was conducted, the population was split into just two groups: free people and slaves, who then represented 15% of the population.

The IBGE said that while its researchers had detected the trend about three years ago, the 2010 census was the first full nationwide study to recognise the phenomenon.

Yorubá is not on track to being an official language in Brazil. Never. Please don't be stupid. Yorubá is a cultural patrimony of Brazil. Brazil have whites, people of Asian Ancestry, indigenous, coloured people, people of arab descent. Imagine Brazil a Latin American country impose a African language for all Brazilians. Whites obligated to speak yorubá, indigenous, gypsies, arab Brazilians, asian Brazilians. This supposition is ridiculous ( Yoruba is on track to being an official language in Brazil. )
because Brazil is a multirracial country. Is not a entirely black country to making a African language official language.

but I believe that before those people ( slaves ) were brought, persons already lived there
Yes 2/3 Million of Indians. And a mixture of Europeans and immigrants with different origin who travel for Brazil. Slaves with all Brazil population. There is a lack of study believe that yorubá is a official language in Brazil. African heritage in Brazil is so exaggerated. Because black Brazilians have their regions most visited by foreign tourists, as they are more publicized by government propaganda, and for this reason they are considered by foreigners as the '' official '' and predominant Brazilian culture. This bullshit of defining an '' official '' culture started at the time of Brazilian dictadorship Getúlio Vargas in 1950. Which would be prejudice because Brazil is a multicultural country

Not all Brazilians married with black Brazilians. Many Brazilians are descendant of immigrants or only have a African ancestor from slavery. Or mulattos married with white Brazilians. The imposition 50% of Brazil population is black is ridiculous in my opinion.

The articles carry similar quotes allegedly from the former minister of culture, Sergio Sa Leitao, at a speech at Sao Paolo University.
A spokesman for Brazil’s special secretary for culture told AFP the former minister had not made such a statement. “This news item is false,” said Fernando Busian.
A spokesperson for Sao Paolo University said that Leitao did not give a speech at the university last year.
The culture ministry has since been closed by newly elected President Jair Bolsonaro.
In September 2018, Yoruba was recognised as part of the cultural heritage of Rio de Janeiro, but not nationally. Portuguese and English are the only compulsory languages taught in Brazilian schools.
https://factcheck.afp.com/no-yoruba-has-not-become-official-language-brazil
Despite the fact that Portuguese is the official language of Brazil and the vast majority of Brazilians speak only Portuguese, there are several other languages spoken in the country. According to the president of IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) there are an estimated 210 languages spoken in Brazil. Eighty[citation needed] are Amerindian languages, while the others are languages brought by immigrants.

Brazil is not a African country to speak yorubá. Brazil never adopt a African language official language because
1 - Brazil is not a African country.
2 - Brazil is not a entirely black country.
3 - yorubá is a cultural patrimony of Rio de janeiro not all Brazil
4- The only second official language in Brazil is indigenous Language
5 - Anyone speak yorubá in Brazil. Only in Afro Brazilian religion candomblé. Candomblé is only 3% of Brazil

"The undergraduate diploma must be revalidated by a public Brazilian university, regularly accredited and maintained by the Government, which has a recognized course of the same level and area or equivalent. First, it is necessary to apply for revalidation at a public higher education institution in Brazil.
The documentation to be presented will vary according to the type of processing to be performed by the higher education institution.
The student must pay a fee for the cost of administrative expenses. The fee is not fixed in advance by the National Education Council or the Ministry of Education, and may vary from institution to institution.
The deadline for the university to comment on the request for revalidation of undergraduate diplomas through regular processing is up to 180 days and for simplified processing is up to 60 days, counting from the date of delivery of the necessary documentation.
Brazil has no automatic revalidation / recognition agreement for higher-level diplomas with any country. Therefore, the rules are the same for all countries.
The Ministry of Education created a specific portal on the topic with detailed information - the Carolina Bori Platform. Therefore, for more information and to apply online via the universities that joined the portal, you can access it here.

Whitening is not a fake theory.

Mulatto aren't whites and are not by whites based on the one drop rule. The whitening policy was done to massively increase the population of whites vis-a-vis the black or mulatto population and this actually worked as at a time, whites were a majority if I'm correct.

I'm not doubting immigration of Asians such as the Japanese. In 1995, Emmanuel Awude along with accomplices Ameka Anajemba and Christian Anajemba took advantage of a Japanese-Brazilian banker named Nelson Sakaguchi of $242m. Arabs constitute 5% of South America's population. The Brazilian president before the present one was of Arabian descent. Ex-president Menem of Argentina too was an Arab. Even South America's richest man, Carlos Slim is of Lebanese descent. His grandfather fled to Mexico to escape being conscripted by the Ottoman Turks.
No. The whitening police ( in my opinion fake..) ideology was recceive Europeans immigrants.. for black/mulatto Brazilians married for them also. Anyone consider mulattos white in Brazil. Mulattos in Brazil are considered mixed race. In United States "black".
Any evidence that Brazil import Europeans to whitening the population. The fact is if Brazil import immigrants for whitening the population... African Brazilians "whitening themselves for the own choice.. right? African and mulattos married for Europeans Brazilians for the own choice. Stop the hipocrisy. "African Brazilians are a victim of evil white colonizers, whitening police". Own choice. I don't agree for pan africanists (target Brazil a "black country) ". Like the media says. The cool about Brazil is the racial diversity.

Official stats show whites constitute 47% of tge population.

The non white minorities have a higher birth rates than the whites so minorities will keep growing a a share of the population.

Black's once constituted the majority of razils population. However, Brazil launched a whitening population by encouraging massive white immigration from Europe until blacks became a minirority in Brazil.
Blacks are not majority Brazil population. Brown people (pardo) are the majority of the population.
"Whitening population" is a fake theory for pan africanists in Brazil. The majority of Brazil population in 1822 was mulatto. And in Brazil live indigenous people before colonization. Many slaves mixed with Amerindians also. Brazil recceive Asians and Arabs also. How come Arabs whitening the population? Stupid fake afrocentric theory. Pan africanists Brazilians claim Brazil like many black africans claim North Africans are "black".
