Racist in Brazil is crazy
Getting Job in Brazil comes with the colour of your skin.
The lighter your skin, the better the job
That is not true. That is fake news. getting a job in Brazil depends on your contacts. If you know a parent, a friend or a powerful politician who work in the company they indicate you and you are hired. Everyone takes advantage of this corrupt and nepotic system. Whites and blacks
CultureRe: Do Africans Owe African Americans Reparations? by Samishiba: 2:56pm On Dec 08, 2021
In my opinion the word "historical reparation" doesn't make sense. Black Americans deserve a good life because they are American citizens. And all citizens deserve a better life. Not because they are slaves in the past. The slavery was a horrible fact. But demanding "historic redress is ridiculous". Black haitians killed all whites for Haiti. I don't see anyone demanding historic reparations from black Haitians

Is not the theme of the topic but taking advantage of the fact that the topic is about Brazil, I would like to clarify some wrong stereotypes that Nigerians have about Brazil. Not all Nigerians have these wrong misconceptions but some of them have

1) Brazilians speak Yoruba
Yoruba is a common language in African Brazilian religion candomblé. But candomblé is a minority religion in Brazil. Only 3% of Brazil population practiced candomblé. Definitely few Brazilians speak Yoruba

2) Brazilians are Hispanic
Brazilians are considered latino but not Hispanic. Hispanics are people who born in Latin American countries who speak Spanish. Brazilians are considered latino

3) Black Brazilians are treated like Animals
Black Brazilians are the poorest ethnic group in Brazil but that is a such exaggeration. Brazil is a racist country but definitely is not the racist country in the world.

4) Brazil is a completely shithole
Brazil is a not entirely shithole but is not a paradise. Is a average third world country
Some places are more developed than any countries in África. Some places are poor like many countries in África.

5) I don't think that Nigerians have this misconception but some people have. Not all Brazilians are black or have African descent. Exist a lot of white Brazilians, Brazilians with light skin, Brazilians with blue eyes, blonde Brazilians, Asian Brazilians, Arab Brazilians the country are a melting spot of races

That is absolutely ridiculous. They sit down to discuss things for black people. These retardads want to segregate Brazil. We need to discuss actions for the entire Brazilian population. Blacks, browns and poor whites. All Brazilians deserve a better life blacks, browns, and poor white Brazilians. What is about this stupid segregation. Only action for blacks and excluse white Brazilians. Not all white Brazilians are rich. Some of them are poor and have a hard life also. These stupid black moviments want revenge and not solutions.

Are there English speaking Catholic church in Brasilia?
No. English classes are so expensive in Brazil. Learning english is a privilege for upper class white Brazilians or all races who live in upper class. Only 4% of Brazil population speak english fuently. And Brazilians don't have many interest in learning english alone. Some Brazilians are lazy unfortunately. Lazy and accommodated. Exist a lot of sites in internet for learning english but the population don't have interest.

In the fact Brazil population are 43% brown and 20% black and 43% white. Brazilian former President Lula created a racial equality statute and determining that the black population of Brazil is the sum of blacks and browns. 86 million are brown 20 million of pure african ancestry. adding the two they find that majority of Brazil population are "black" ( 80 + 20) 100 million of "blacks".

1. Well, not many people want the leftover of Lagos sexually undecided. When you say a woman had responsible sex with a lot of partners, what I hear is loads of contraceptives, pregnancy preventive measures, mixing of spirits, mixing of numerous fluids, a worn out body etc. etc. All these points except the bold also applies to men.

2. As you like it. I am off the sexual market anyways and made a choice of man befitting for me.
each one has an opinion but to be discarding a person for their sexual past in my opinion is ridiculous

The men also use drugs to prevent pregnancy or do abortions and all sorts.

The men are also carried by one cultist to the other or usually invited to threesomes and all sorts.

Or the man can decide to responsible for his actions and birth (the key word: birth) several kids for different mother's.

The sexual past of men & women have consequences and future implications on them.

However, one is graver than the other.
That is not my point. Many women are irresponsable and don't care about children or birth control. But if you have a girlfriend and in the past she have sex with a lot of men what is the problem? ( responsable sex of course)
no one owns anyone's past ok
FamilyRe: "Judge Women By Their Past!" - Do You Agree? by Samishiba: 2:18am On Oct 16, 2021
A lot of men have many women, have a sex with a lot of women. And anyone judge the men. Men can have many women, have sex with many women. If a woman does the same, she is judged. The society is machist and hypocrite

Jair Bolsonaro didn't do great things for Brazil. Is a average president. Bolsonaro is a former army captain and Brazilian deputy have a explosive temper and don't have a good relation with Brazilian press. Bolsonaro accuse Brazilian media of persecute him and say that Brazilian media is a such disgrace and evil liers.

Whoever said that Brazil is third world country currently is very dumb. As of 2014 while in high institution, one of the textbooks I read on development administration by Indian authors stated that Brazil is a second world country and seriously heading to meet first world countries criteria.
Brazil is a third world country but is not a completely shithole. Brazil have 27 states. 3 Brazil states have a very high human index 0,800 points. 3 Brazilian states have medium Human Development Index. Any state have low medium Human Development Index. The north and Northeast are the poorest regions in Brazil. Some cities are so rich others are so desesperately poor. Brazil is a country of contrasts. Brazil have rich places and desesperately poor places.
Real Brazil indicators
Human Development Index 0,764 ( high)
Gini 54.0
Per capita $6,797
Life expectancy 76 years
Literacy rate 92%
PIB $3.5 trillion
Demography 42% white 43% mulatto and mestizo 20% black 3% asian 2% Amerindian
minimum wage $258 dollar
Homicide rate 56.7

Brazil is considered a third world country. We have slums, poverty, corruption the same problems of others third world countries. Brazil is definitely a third world country. Is better for African countries but is a third world country. All Latin America countries are third world countries

Yea because of corruption that's why they kicked out the PT party, not all Africans, I still see Africans that complain and complain, they want to enter the usa, they think money grow on trees in the USA, for me I found my happiness in Brazil and I am not leave, I am too old to relocate anyways, I am done relocating
I didn't say that all Africans would like to live in Brazil. I said Africans would like to have what we have. We have free contraceptives, free public health, free prenatal care, free condoms. Is not amazing but we have.
Brazilians only denigrate Brazil. We still have a lot of problems and challenges to face but things have improved a lot. In 1990 Brazil was as poor like a African country but in the last 20 years we have improved a lot.

The truth is that some Brazilians are like Nigerians they hate their country, not all though let's say 10% of brazilians and this is why they don't sell Brazil well to the world, they feel Brazil can do better, because we also have corruption in government that was why they removed the PT party.

But me a Nigerian in Brazil what more can I ask for? Unless I want to be a greedy man, Brazil works, free health care, free ambulance for emergencies, free education, good business environment, friendly people, what more do I need?

Brazil has done what Nigeria never did for me since I was born.

Is there any country in this world where you don't have crimes? We know some areas are more violent than the others

Just like those comments I heard them all before coming here, you hear so many scary stories and when you come to Brazil it is different, I would post on how to live safely in brazil

Don't we have states in the USA that is known for gun violence and violent crimes?

Yea we have crimes in Brazil just like we have in many other countries, all you have to do is mind your business and stay safe
We have some things. Public health, public education but the big problem of Brazil is the corruption of politicians and the people. Brazilians politicians are one of the most corrupts in the world. People litter the streets, students raid schools. Brazil does not value what it has. Many Africans would give anything to have what we have. And we don't value.

everyone knows Lula is a criminal who was rightfully jailed for his crimes and only freed because of his political affiliation. his name and his party was soiled from the Odebrecht corruption scandal, this man is a CRIMINAL"

i dont think that Lula will win again, as you can see by the tiny protest against Bolsonaro... and something you cant take away from Bolsonaro is he heavily is fighting crimes, which is the main issue in brazil
Yes Lula is a criminal but some stupid Brazilians like him. Stupid and adoctrined people

No. Brazilians understand some words in English but don't speak english. English classes is so expensive in Brazil. Inacessible for the common population. Only upper class Brazilians are fluently in English. 4% of Brazilians are fluently in english 60% understand some words
.
planetx:
The well documented issue of racism in Brazil is a lie to you because you are an African boot licker who probably lick the boots of the muzungus(white people) just to be in their good books and deny what is in your face. I don't blame you I blame the poverty that chased you out of Africa to deny the rampant racism against Afro Brazilians. The same denial you people do in the US about racism that made the Afro Americans to resent you.
The media exaggerate so much. Exist racism in Brazil but is not like the media portrays. The life in Brazil is very hard for all races: for poor white Brazilians and poor black Brazilians.
TravelRe: The Cost Of Living In Brazil 2021 by Samishiba: 1:36am On Sep 25, 2021
walkbrazil4k:
The cost of living increased recently and things used to be cheap many months ago before the pandemic and Brazil is still cheaper than many countries in Latin America eg like cars are expensive in Brazil but food is cheap
Brazil life is a little better than Nigeria but is not wonderful. The life in Brazil is not easy. Is very hard also. i'm not saying this to discourage you but i'm realistic.
- The minimum wage in Brazil is 224 USD. Brazil is really a expensive country. Some things are so expensive today.
- We have a free public health in Brazil. Is not horrible but is not amazing. Condoms and pills are free in Brazil. The public health is quite overloaded. Quick medical appointments are easy to get. But if you need surgery it takes months to a year.
- Public transport is very crowded.
- Only 4% of Brazil speak english. Learning portuguese is required
