Worksunlimited: Unemployment needs no introduction.. As its now a bane of the society, a name on every Nigerian households lips, a scourge on the feet and shoes of job seekers, a dent in the image of a graduates certificate, a frustrating episode in the life of a graduates survival, a catalyst in the passage of time, a bizarre hole in the pockets of unemployed graduates, an unfriendly friend in a mans history and a complete nuisance to the advancement of any rational job seeker...

It is with these aforesaid assertments.. This thread is tabled!

I was amongst fellow job seekers at a recruiting firm, queueing for an oppurtunity to be interviewed this past week, we were in an air-conditioned room, buh men dey sweat because of the crowd wey full insyd.. Over 200 unemployed graduates, donning all colours of ties and suits waiting patiently for a shot at the advertised vacancy..

When i became involved in a conversation that caught my fancy; A set of graduates were engaged in a conversation, which goes thus;

1st graduate: Mehn! i go 1 interview yesterday, i reach the place like 7am, interview na 8a.m, interviewers land 10a.m, interview begin 11a.m, when my turn reach na 2pm.. interviewer ask me wetin be wi-fi? I no understand, i cum ask am make im spell am, interviewer spell am.. I still no sabe wetin im ask me.. na im i just tell am say, i no know.. Na after i commot the place, na im my brain boot on top the answer.. Buh e don late! The thing pain me die...

2nd, Me, and 4th graduate: Laughing Their Ass Out

4th Graduate: If i get this job, Olohun ma de church, lo se Thanksgiving (To God, i go go do Thanksgiving for church)..

2nd Graduate: Hmmm.. Padi, no be only you, the dance wey i go dance for the church gan, pastor go leave altar for me make i display proper.. cos Broda, i don waka!

So my question, goes thus;

If After trekking the lenght and breadth of your respective states; in the rain and under the sun, mailing c.vs up and down, a havalange of rejection letters, a torrent of frustration,and relationship break down.. A letter of acceptance suddenly arrives your doorstep; from an application you cant remember sending and from a company you cant remember visiting.. What would your first reaction be?
