Naijabad:
Over to ONDO people. The choices before you are very clear: choice of evil and choice of good.

Choice of being free born and choice of having your destines collectively locked up in bullion van.

Edo no be Lagos actually. Thanks to Edolites for your doggedness.

Edo people I salute you.
Shey the Ondo wey I come from is which one?

cos I didn't see any opposition In Ondo.

. Don't be double standard in your analysis to justify incompetence which the op was trying to to point on the part of leadership failure but you were clever by half been subtle with your defense line. Buhari is a tsunami to Nigeria in all aspects.
Pls, I don't do this type of stupid analysis you do on Nairaland.

. See how you reason, as crude is selling less than 30 dollars what will make fuel being sold more than 30, come to this think about it where is the SNF, should we borrow to loot, what of all the billions marked out for repair the refinaries, why can't we do that,
You and I know that corruption is the major problem of this country. The person you see as a saint might failed you except his secret is not exposed.
Politics › Re: Cost Of Things During PDP And APC Regim by Sammy07: 8:07am On Sep 20, 2020
Before that let me add mine.

Global price of crude oil #140 ---- PDP

Global price of crude oil below #30 --- APC

Y'all needs to study economics and finance in school.

And pls don't quote me about diversifying except you're into agriculture.
You and I know that An average cocoa, palm oil grows between 3 - 5 years.

Rice Has been dirversifyed and poultry products.
But We're yet to be sufficient and we can't be eating Rice, cassava, all day.

government only needs to reduce cost of governace which they failed to do.

but I have to agree with igbochief001 that we are really a broke country.
How much is agricultural products on international marketshuh Very small that can't fund 20% of our budget.

Government really needs to grow local production / Small scale business

. Start by leaving their land and operate only in South East. Let your representative in government resign then all Nigerian will take you serious.
This is what I keep telling them.
They should also make sure They don't sell Gas and coal to Nigeria government.

But without the backing Of their governors and leaders it's a futile attempt

So, in your warped opinion, you think it is easier and takes more time to learn hairdressing and furniture-making than learning the rudiments of more technical spheres like auto spare parts, electrical/electronics etc?
If you're asked to choose one to start a business, which one will you go for?

Hairdressing / furniture or Spareparts / electronics?
Politics › Re: What My Father Told Me About Igbos by Sammy07: 9:59am On Sep 18, 2020
Lemme add one cool

Igbos are money attached than any other tribe.
Reason why you see them doing business which will brings profit immediately. (either legal or illegal).

Reason why you didn't see much of them in agriculture, and skills (like hair dressing, furniture, etc).
As you can see those skills required patience , igbo man go no patience.

Lastly, on Money attached.
If you notice them, Igbo men marry late.
That's because he believes he has to be established and get something at hand before going to marry.

Unlike other tribes that believes God will open way during or after marriage.

candidtalk:
Guy don't go there. I am Yoruba and proud. I know the UK and USA well. The US is merely capitalism without heart, soul or compassion.

UK white folks are, by a Country mile, the most tolerant and liberal in the world. Take that to the bank.

Whereas, in comparison, the USA is very racist towards ordinary black folks with many key institutions in the USA, like her Police force, inherently and institutionally racist.

If you quantify everything in terms of your Nigerian outlook, i.e copious wealth for a few in elite professional and public/political position, then of course you'd shout USA.

If however you are talking about a dignified and satisfactory existence for every individual, regardless of background, colour, sex, religion or talent, /specialist skill/education, then the UK is miles ahead of the USA.

Talk when the USA has anything like the NHS or argue when the USA can give all unemployed folks a living allowance and even pay their rent.

You don't judge a Country by how it treats it privileved class. It is Nigerians who do that because of our national background. You judge a nation by how best it serves the needs of all her citizens. Simple.
Well, you're quite right tho.

Use glasses bro and see the Yorubas outnumbering igbos on that list.

And by the way, Yorubas outnumbered Igbos in UK.
Can't say that of USA
Dunno what they see in UK tho.

South West is the real place where El Rufai will do a damage to Osinbanjo..

True Omoluabi won't accept personalities like el Rufai running things with their beloved Son..

Osinbanjo won't make the mistake of choosing el Rufai as his running mate...

Mind you, I'm Igbo... a pro-PDP, but I will prefer Osinbanjo to any northern candidate PDP will produce so far as personalities like el Rufai is not close to the presidency....
Hope you know that SW will give bloc votes to any Yoruba on the ballot.
