the same way Rivers has more poor people than Osun according to NBS table compiled by a Yoruba CEO.
we are no longer bothered by your propagandas
You're funny.
Nigeria has high number of wealthy people in Africa more than south Africa, Ghana.

Yet Nigeria is regarded as the poverty capital of Africa.
Make use of your head.

Why are you even bothering yourself over those leeches that only love to receive and not give?

To start with, what's the total revenue or igr of the whole of SE? Breh! It's not even up to half of what SW and SS contribute, and the most annoying part is that, they receive more allocation more than they contribute while the SW receives less than it gives or contributes.

And by the way, what's the tears for when half of their population has relocated to the SW and North respectively? I don't even want to sound logic now or rhetoric in my response to this thread because everything about those leeches defines logic and reasoning.

Bring forth thr table of the nation's states igr of each region or stats and let's see how much these leeches contribute and how much they are receive monthly/annually.

It's annoying mhen!
Truth tho, they receive more than they give out.

SS and SW should be complaining.

Yet they are shouting on top common gas being transferred from IMO to Lagos, yet they didn't shout whenever their governors receive fat allocations from the FG.

Well, I know them not today sha grin

You guys are complaining of the gas going to Lagos.

But you don't complain when money coming from Niger delta and Lagos being shared to other part of the country
And to your governors.

You guys are hypocrites

If you're ready you know the process or you pick the 2nd option which is war.

The answer to your question is not farfetched.
It's called ' law of demand, dominion, power over SE, and the purchasing power.

I should also add that its obvious that the whole of SE do not have the purchasing power hence (perhaps they are poor), it was moved to the rich SW to help raise imo/SE igr or elevate you out of poverty. grin

So, as you can see? It's all about the money, who can afford your small gas. cool grin

Thank you. cool

Not true! Biafra can easily double food production within a few years and in less than a decade become food sufficient. Even if we need to get more, we can still decide to buy from Cameroun. But on the other hand, without the Biafran market, many families in the north that depend on agriculture will lose their income and sink deeper into poverty. So the North or Arewa will need us more than we will need them.

if Nigerians are sensible, the best solution is to give every region semi autonomy so that everyone can still benefit from each other.
Now you're talking
But the thing is, first we are luck that we have free Agriculture IN North

We are lucky that we have Seaports with industries and oil in SS and SW

We're lucky that we have natural gas, coal and SMEs in SE.

If at the bolded is done.( semi autonomy)

We will need each other by buying what we lack and cost of trasportation will be less and we'll be using same currency.

But if each region start importing outside, no region will be better, we'll remain stand still with no progress.

You guys are funny. If oil runs out, all these big for nothing corporations in Lagos will pack shop. Nigerians are still dreaming.
You're running around like rat.
You don't understand what economics means.

If north stop providing food and east start importing them
Your forex will go down.

ND/SW will be the economy hub, SE will be the entrepreneurial backbone with their relentless love for wealth, North will be like the medical team in a war, they are not fighters but are very crucial if their allies will survive the war.
I can't say north is like medical team.

North are as important as anything.
Or else the money generated from ND/SW will be used to import food outside.

Which will affect your forex

Politics › Re: Why Are FG Pumping Gas From Imo To Lagos State? by Sammy07: 10:59am On May 25, 2020
We're all one Nigeria
We need each other.

Niger delta and South west provides the income. (money generated from oil and seaports with industries)

South east provides some of the resources in making the country go smoothly (gas and coal, SMEs)

North provides the food

If oil dry kpatakpata today, the entire country will suffer, show me any region in Nigeria that does not depend on the oil? As a matter of fact those that will first adapt to the no oil economy is all Niger delta states due to their seaports and other natural resource like water and most Southwest states due to the strong economy of lagos states which will extend, then the south east states follows due to their entrepreneurial spirits. Forget the Northern states, if they could not adapt with oil, then without oil will be extinction
You make sense.
But the north still provides food.

North produces highest agricultural export

If you touch an Igbo man's daughter, he fit kill you join but in Yoruba land, new wives will be praying to sire only boys because, to born a girl means, she is your husband's new wife, it is only a matter of time. Many Yoruba man divorce their wives just to have a way with their daughters. Believe me you, some yoruba guys on this nairaland are very guilty of this abomination. Quote me negatively and die. Rubbish people .
At least, it's better than What is done in Igbo land.

Ibadan is bigger than Enugu state as it is

I am talking about Ibadan city and Entire Enugu state

In fact my argument has been largely based on Ibadan city and Enugu state due to my limited knowledge of other parts of Oyo state.
Ibadan is around 10,000km²

The whole of Enugu as a state is around 7,000km²
