A Nigerian woman, Elizabeth Oyeyomi, burst into tears of joy recently after her husband, Damilare Oyeyomi, serving in the US Army, surprised her at work after 11 months of being deployed overseas.

He recently called her and told her he would be away for another 6 months. A heartbroken Elizabeth took it in good stride, only for him to pull off a pleasant surprise at her office.

Nigerians have expressed concerns over the recent appearance of controversial cross-dresser, Bobrisky.

In a video making the rounds on social media, the brand influencer who donned a native outfit with full makeup on, was spotted dancing to a song which played in the background.

Shortly after, in his usual fashion, Bobrisky flaunted bundles of money and announced that he was going to have a great weekend.

However, reacting to the video, Nigerians expressed worry over the size of Bobrisky’s head and face.

Musiliu Akinsanya, the Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, aka MC Oluomo, has expressed surprise as reality TV star, Whitemoney, paid him a visit.

MC Oluomo said this on his Instagram page on Friday as he shared a video of the visit, where he was discussing with Whitemoney.

Born Hazel Onoduenyi, Whitemoney gained prominence in 2021 after winning the sixth edition of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija.

The NURTW boss, while talking about the visit, also noted that he had a fruitful discussion with the reality TV star.

He wrote, “I was surprised when the winner of BBNaija season 6, Hazel Oyeze Onoduenyi a.k.a Whitemoney @whitemoney_ paid me a courtesy visit. I had a fruitful discussion with him and I must confess it was nice having him around.”

Following the release of Nigerian skit maker, Joshua Sunday, popularly known as De General, from the Nigeria Drug Enforcement Agency’s custody on Monday, the Instagram comedian has informed his fans that he was not a drug trafficker.

In a short Instagram video on his page on Tuesday, he told his fans that he was alive, well, and prepared to go back to making skits after a short two-week absence.

He joked that the two-week break seemed like a full year.

The skit maker said, “As you all can see, I am alive, I am healthy, I am back to my house eating, and I am freshened up. I just want to thank the general public and to let them know that I am fine. And for you folks trying to reach out to me, showing your concern, I appreciate it a lot.

“I just want to want to debunk the news circulating that De General is a drug trafficker. I’m not a drug trafficker! If I was a drug trafficker, do you think they’ll allow me go like that? I only traffic laughter and comedy.

“So let’s get our facts right. De General is not a drug trafficker, and I love you all. I don miss to dey do skits. E kon be like say nah one year,” he said.

Big Brother Naija star, Khloe Abiri reveals she drank various chemicals to take her life after her n*ked photo was leaked.

The photo was taken while she was still unconscious following her cosmetic surgery and was circulated online.

Nigerian actress, Olayode Juliana has called out Nigerian cleric, Pastor Timilehin Adigun for allegedly holding on to her passwords.

In a video she shared on Instagram, she claimed that the pastor took control of all her social media accounts including her Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others and has refused to give her the passwords.

She claimed that at some point, her Facebook page was even deactivated by the pastor.

In a lengthy caption she attached to her post on Instagram, she claimed that she just wants her passwords from the pastor.

She wrote: I know some people are going to call me and say all sort but I AM TIRED!!!

To some people, this might be a wrong move, and some might prefer I stay quite but I am honestly TIRED!!!! And I am not going to shut up.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT Timilehin Adigun wants from me, I really don't know.

There is so much I want to say but I don't even have the words to express it.

I also know that people are going to have different opinion about it.

Right now, I don't want anybody calling me or texting me to tell me how to go about my life, what to say or what not to say, what to do or what not to do, nobody should tell me what the spirit is saying to them or tell me to think about the church and the body of Christ. One of Nigeria's most successful comedians, Bovi’s wife, Kris Asimonye has expressed gratitude for life after undergoing a surgery for an ectopic pregnancy which ruptured one of her tubes.

Sharing her experience, Kris disclosed that it all started with an excruciating pain after she had packed her luggage on Friday January 14, for a flight back to Lagos on Saturday January 15.

The lengthy post reads;

Friday the 14th of January 2022

I had packed up my luggage preparing for my flight back to Lagos the next day being Saturday.

But then I woke up with an excruciating pain. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t even turn, I had to stay still to control the pain.

I typically have a high threshold for pain. A very, very, very high threshold for pain, but this was even beyond labour pain.

I couldn’t control it, I reluctantly called my husband. He had asked me to go to the hospital several times in the days leading up to this moment.

30 minutes later, this pain still wouldn’t go away. My husband again, asked me to go to the hospital but I said no.

“I’ll be fine don’t worry, tomorrow I’m back home”. I have a 10 O’clock at David’s school, I can’t miss it.”

I took some pain killers, and it seemed like the pain was finally beginning to go down. I could stand upright at this point.

About an hour later, I started to feel like I was going to pass out.

I called 999 but I couldn’t speak, then I passed out. Somehow, I miraculously woke up to numerous missed calls from the emergency service.

I got up, put on my wig and found myself heading to see my son in school whilst in pain. I had genuinely assumed the pain had subsided.

I promised I’d see my son by 10am and I wasn’t going to disappoint him, so I pushed my pain aside, ordered a taxi & found myself limping to his school.

The minute David’s school nurse saw me, she could tell that I wasn’t okay. God used this lady to force me into a car and she specifically asked the driver to take me straight to the hospital.

2 hours later, I passed out again while waiting to see the doctor and the nurses were not even aware of what was going on.

By the time I got back into the GP’s office, she was going to send me home. All the tests done for signs of infections came back negative and the last bit was to do a scan “There’s no opening for a scan for you today, they are fully booked, you’ll have to come back tomorrow”.

I responded with the little strength I had left; I can’t go home without seeing the doctor. I just fainted again, I had fainted twice today.

The placed a call to the gynecologist and the next thing I heard was; get her a wheel chair and take her to the gynecology & maternity ward.

God did it!! Suddenly, they said I could do a scan same day…..

The report;

“I’m sorry you have an ectopic pregnancy and it’s ruptured in one of your tubes. You are bleeding in your tummy.You have to go into surgery immediately”

In a matter of minutes, they were prepping me for surgery. COVID test, setting up a line, just movements in and out of the room ….

I couldn’t process what was going on. I needed strength at that point, I couldn’t even pray. I couldn’t call anyone because the last thing I wanted was panic. So it was just Bovi, and 2 of my friends (Nwando & Kaine) who already knew what was going on.

For the first time in my life, I really craved for strength. And it was beyond physical strength.

I was physically, emotionally & mentally drained. Nwando and her mum had rushed down to the hospital the minute I told her, Bovi was in panic & I.. I just hoped in God.

Before I was wheeled into the theatre, all I could say was; “I am going to come out alive and stronger.”

I testify today of God’s faithfulness to me. I am grateful to be alive. I am grateful to be well, and most of all, I am very grateful to have good people, a strong support system around me.

“This new year, I am alive and well and I’d be back home to my family and this party called life; soon"

Actress and filmmaker, Funke Akndele-Bello, has advised her followers never to keep up on their dreams. She stated that if they are consistent with what they do, they would eventually have a breakthrough.

Gozie Okeke, the popular Nigerian gospel singer, has replied all those criticizing him after he was spotted at an event where a native doctor was spraying him money.

The gospel singer in the video he shared, said he was only appreciating the native doctor, Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki na Oba for showing him love by spraying him money at the event in Oba, Anambra state.

Describing those criticizing him as “beautiful enemies”, the gospel singer claimed that it is why many of them are poor because they don’t think far.

Claiming that many will miss heaven because they don’t mind their business, Gozie Okeke also slammed his colleagues for criticizing him. He claimed that they are condemning him as if they won’t take the money if they were in his position.
