Female Soldier, Who Men Tell She's Too Pretty For The Work She Does, Speaks (video)

A woman who says men tell her she's too pretty to work as a soldier has responded to the comments she gets from men.

In a video shared online, the soldier is seen wearing her uniform while addressing the issue.

She began: "Some guys tell me I'm too pretty for the work I do."

She explained that what she's too pretty for is to beg men for "urgent 2k" or to be disrespected by them.

"If there's anything to be pretty about, it's to make you believe without you I'm nothing, it's to be used and dumped by you," she said.

"You see, your insult, your disappointment, your disrespect is what I'm too pretty for.

"Men, I too fine for rubbish. I am too pretty for rubbish."

If she was the first to have entered the vehicle, when she highlighted, didn't the guy or people around her noticed the presence of the kid still in the vehicle?...or better still, the person that sat close to her ought to have called her attention as to if the kid isn't hers or not.....

In what will come across as a really shocking development, a Nigerian mother has 'forgotten' her baby in a bus.

The mother 'forgot' her baby in a commercial bus while alighting in Imo state and efforts are being made to find the child's mother.

The driver of the bus said he picked up passengers from Ogbaku to Owerri, but on getting to Owerri, after every passenger alighted, the baby was left in his vehicle.

He took the baby to a media personality to make an announcement so that the mother or anyone who knows the baby can pick the child up.

Comedian, Basketmouth, has berated operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA, for arresting skit maker, Sunday Joshua aka De-General, over what he described as a ''pinch of weed''.

NDLEA operatives stormed De General's home in Lagos on Wednesday January 12, and arrested him. A video of the operatives manhandling him after they invaded his home to arrest him was shared online.

In a statement released, NDLEA said illicit drugs including 200 sachets of 225mg Tramadol and 1.5kilograms of cannabis sativa were recovered from the skit makers house.

In a video shared on his Instastories, Basketmouth said Nigeria has bigger issues to contend with than arresting the skit maker. He said the NDLEA operatives know those who carry weed and that they should have ''small shame'' and stop embarrassing people.

A water seller has been spotted in a viral video sharing money he had on him with prison inmates who were in a van waiting for a traffic light.

A photographer who shared the video on Instagram said this happened in Ajah and the water seller gave out over 70% of the money he had on him. He added that he was impressed with the act of generosity.

He wrote; "Just a few minutes at Ajah waiting for the traffic light , bottle water seller shares at least 70% of the cash on him to the immates in this Nigerian correctional service bus ,

"i have never been this impressed by such act of love and Generosity, immediately I took his phone no just so i could get his account details later , which I will share here soon (called him a couple of times he is yet to pick up"

A heated exchange ensued on TV after the Director-General of Bola Tinubu Support Management Council, Abdulmumin Jibrin was asked about his principal’s age and how he amassed his wealth.

Arise TV journalist, Oseni Rufai who asked the question, stated that last he checked "Tinubu was an accountant at Mobil".

He further asked how the former Governor of Lagos could amass so much wealth that "he could afford a bullion van" prior to an election at his home.

Responding to the question, Jibrin refused to answer the question and stated that emphasis should be on what Tinubu has achieved, how he turned around the revenue of Lagos, and infrastructural development.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Bovi has taken to Instagram to share a video of his son's rather unique sleeping position.

In the video, the comedian's son is seen sleeping on top of the bed's headboard despite the fact that there was enough space on the bed for him.

Despite his uncomfortable position, the child appears to be sleeping comfortably.

Anabelle Oromoni, the sister of Sylvester Oromoni, a Dowen College student who died last year, has reacted after the Lagos State government said autopsy results showed her brother died a natural death.

Sylvester's family had said he was beaten up by older students and given a substance to drink.

They added that Sylvester named 5 of the boys who allegedly assaulted him.

However, the Lagos State Government later cleared the five students and five employees of Dowen College accused of complicity in the death of 11-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.

The state cleared them as well as the school following the Legal Advice of the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, Ms. Adetutu Oshinusi.

According to the advice, the interim and final autopsy reports issued by the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital and toxicology report of post mortem samples and that of the Central Hospital, Warri were in agreement as to the cause of death namely: Septicaemia, Lobar Pneumonia with Acute Pyelonephritis, Pyomyositis of the right ankle and Acute Bacteria Pneumonia due to severe Sepsis.

The result of the toxicology is also not indicative of any toxic or poisonous substance in the body of the deceased

The DPP’s legal advice, therefore, concluded that based on these findings, there is no prima facie case of murder, involuntary manslaughter and or malicious administering of poison with intent to harm against the five students, Favour Benjamin aged 16, Micheal Kashamu (15), Edward Begue (16), Ansel Temile (14) and Kenneth Inyang (15).

Speaking during a radio interview on Nigerian Info, Sylvester's sister, Anabelle said the claim that her brother died a natural death is simply a tactic to justify the reopening of the school.

She added that in Nigeria, "there is always power plays involved".

Asked whether the family has seen the toxicology report that shows sylvester died a natural death, she said its been word of mouth and the government and police have refused to show them the report.

She said: "They haven't shown us anything. We've been asking them to show us."
