The senior pastor of Nyanya Parish of Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Mfom Umoren, is currently under fire as he has been accused of adultery and sexual harassment by some members of the church.

A former member of the church, Mba Kalu Achowa, is accusing the pastor of sleeping with his wife. According to Daily Sun, Mba Kalu Achowa who is one of the founding members of the church, is alleging that his home has been shattered since the pastor befriended his wife.

In a petition to the elders of the church, Mba Kalu Achowa who is a staff of the Federal Ministry of Interior in Abuja said that his wife of 18 years had abandoned her matrimonial duties and relocated to the pastor’s house.

“She leaves home early in the morning and comes home most times 10.30pm or 11pm. Pastor Umoren has taken over my wife.How can a married woman go to the minister’s house, whose wife lives in Lagos, and cook for him? She stays with him both in his house and office. I am pained as a man whose wife has decided to shift her matrimonial duties to this minister,” part of Mba Kalu Achowa’s petition read.

The minister of health in a press conference today revealed that the first Nigerian that was confirmed to have contracted the Ebola virus has been discharged from the isolation unit, and has been declared fit by the doctors. WOW?? Right??
Yep. That’s not all, he also said that
some of those infected with the Ebola virus are showing signs of improvement.

The minister also said that the Nano-Silver drug which was thought could be used in treating the Ebola patients, was received, but was not issued on the patients, because it did not meet the requirements of the National Health Research ethics code. The drugs which the U.S’s NDA did not approve, calling it – a pesticide- was not issued to the patients.

Wow. Contrary to what many have thought, the Ebola virus is not a death sentence, and could be cured. Experts are saying that the virus kills from dehydration, and are discovering other means to tackle the virus.

Some relatives and concerned colleagues of Ebola patients being treated at the Lagos Isolation center have cried out on what they termed the poor living condition of the victims.

At a press conference held yesterday in Ikoyi, Lagos, some medical practitioners and colleagues of the female medical doctor confirmed to have contracted the virus while attending to late Patrick Sawyer, said the living condition of the victims are poor, stating that they have been left to battle the disease on their own as some physicians who are charged with the responsibility of attending to them have abandoned them for fear of also contracting the deadly virus. One of the doctors who spoke at the conference Dr. Helen Boyo-Ekwueme, a consultant Physician said
"We are not fighting anybody. We are simply giving voice to the voiceless. Those people in isolation at the IDH cannot voice out these concerns. Let them have basic treatment. It shouldn’t be as if we just stood there and abandon them and watch them die one by one. They are human beings. That female doctor is a patriotic Nigerian and she needs to be helped. You people (journalists) should go there and see the surroundings where they are being treated. You would wonder if these are human beings who still have relatives. They are just being left on their own. Nobody is counseling them. They are just there as if they have been forgotten. We should remember that they didn’t ask to contract Ebola and it can happen to anybody. We are appealing for international help for these health workers. Go there yourself and witness firsthand the condition under which they are being taken care of” she said bitterly
Another Doctor, Dr Ladi Okuboyeju, who spoke at the press conference said the Ebola isolation facility does not have basic amenities such as light and water and that most of the doctors are running away from the victims. He stated that Nigeria can not handle the crisis even if doctors were not on strike
"If a health facility doesn’t have light, doesn’t have water and the sanitary system is not working properly then we have got a problem. Now the patients are critically ill and their condition is getting worse by day. People, including some medical personnel, are now running away from them. The reality is that the disease is beyond our capacity to handle in this country. The international community needs to rise up to our aid. The victims are not being properly treated. Forget that the Nigeria Medical Association is on strike, we cannot handle it,” he stated.................................

just a friendly advice. Keep your phones on at all times. I mean 24 hours. You might be called soon. 2011 guys were called by the 10th o' may. 2012 around 22nd of may. Most of them were called later in the day. So always keep your phones on.

when they say 40% to 50 questions all you have to do is

for example if u passed 30 questions out of 50 then your percentage is = 30/50 x 100/1 = 60%
if u score 25.....then ur percentage is 25/50 x 100/1 = 50%
if u score 50..... then ur percentage is 50/50 x 100/1 = 100%
if u score 20...... then ur percentage is 20/50 x 100/1 = 40%

so for u to have 40% in the exam, U must pass at least 20 correct questions, that gives u 40%

and in addition I heard it is 50% for second class upper, i dont know how true thatis?

Shey u saw them computing the results na. A1 was 12 marks. They needed 5 results so datz 12 * 5 gves u 60. It was higher in previous years. Twas a total of 75. How d writen exam would b computed is up to them. Bt we all knw that if anybody has 5A's in his main subjects hiz gat 60 marks already. And for those sayin its nt fair. Maybe it is not. But you can't compare sum1 wit 5A's 2 sum1 wit 2B3's. The o'level 4 ug nd the cgpa 4 pg they always count. So its as fair as it cud be.
