I step out of Lagos searching for a reliable camry 2004. I saw many dealers on Jiji and nairaland. I visited each of them with my reliable mechanic.
After checking several cars, we discovered that none of the Nigerian used cars is worth buying .
They always have one problem or the other. The most common is bad engines.

Many dealers even promised to give my mechanic 100k behind my back to convince me to buy this melon car.

It's crazy that with 4.5 million, all you can get is a bad car.
We return home disappointed.

On getting home. I went back to check my own car that I have been driving for 5 years. My engine, gear, and ac are still in perfect condition and I wonder if those putting their car on sale are those with major problem.

Nigeria dealers have ruined the used car market.
Is this a problem with toyota or because the car is a lower year.

I didn't consider other brands. Maybe it would have been a different situation.

At the moment, we are considering buying Tokunbo direct or on installment payment in order to evade this madness in the Nigerian used car Market

For your info, those environmental laws by Lagos state is Internationally agree upon by treaty. So, Lagos is just slow to enforce them.

I don't even remember where my sim pack is All i know after linking my nin to my sim successfully. I walk into their office and replace my sim. The only thing is you fill form, with the necessary information, number, nin and last three numbers called frequently. With cost of the replacement sim. That is all.

I have bought a sim in an MTN office once. When it got lost, the same place asked me for affidavit and police report. I ended up paying road side sim sellers up to 3k just to get it replaced without going through the rigor of visiting the court and the police station.

Has for me both airtel and etisalat was replaced without any ceremony. Only paid for the sim .

Better, because I don't know how foolish a country can be to have even thought of that in the first place. Imagine, you did Sim registration, yet when your Sim card gets missing, they will still be demanding heaven and earth to retrieve it as if they don't have your finger prints, NIN and every other needed stuffs in their database earlier. They can even ask you for the length of your last conversation and recharge card you loaded last. Are all these not childish when you already have all my data and passport photograph during Sim card registration?

Thats not true, once your nin is attached your sim gets replaced immediately. It is if you had visited a road side vendor to buy the sim intially or to attach nin with street vendor,then you will have such issues.

If so rearrange panels to 3 in series and parallel.... Likely the faulty,

Hi everyone,
Please I have a challenge with my inverter set up and would like to hear other opinions or what might be wrong here.

I currently have a 5kva inverter (48v) with four 220ah tubular battery which work absolutely fine but recently I added 6 panels of 555w and expecting that it would be able to charge the battery and use it during sun peak period but that wasn't the case. Could it be that the panels aren't enough or the connection is faulty.

Are you using an mppt charge controller (name),
what panel arrangement was done 2 in series or 3 in series.
What brand of solar panels are you using,
are your panels being shaded.

He is using 3 580w panels on a 12v system. If the sun is blazing, what makes u think he wont be getting over 100amps into his battery as his CC can not be set to give a particular charge current unlike an hybrid inverter

First what discharge will his battery undergo to charge 100amps instaneous charge. I would love to see you prove it for a 12v system.

It will not reach 100amps. The charge controller will automatically give accordingly to what the battery needs.

Then you made mention that it is only hybrid that set a particular charge that is wrong.
My fangpuson 80amps charge controller, with so many non hybrid can be modlated or set to whatever charge or current you want. But none the less, mine is set at 80amps and fully loaded with panels, you will not get the complete 80amps

First of all , where Will the 120amps current come from?. Is it from the 3 panels used for the system, definitely not. It cant generate 120amps.
And don't mind individuals scaring you if you have a good charge controller, whatever amps in your battery,you consume is exactly what the charge controllert will give you back. It is a demand and supply curve

Dont reduce the charge of Controller, it should be at the max, you cant generate the 120amps with 3 panels, but it will supply exactly what your battery needs.

It is their Inverter that makes this possible contrary to your claim that their inverter does almost nothing. The Inverter converts that excess solar energy to Alternating Current that can be fed back into the grid.

To be honest, i don't really know much about the water recycling, but if i may ask wont it involve pumping from one point to another then back again. This will require energy and pump.
The fish farming is a very stinky business,the stench from the water not changed in two days is out of this world.

No i haven't, the sako hybrid was for a pumping project. But if you want to get an hybrid with transformers go for Felicity hybrid.

I got it for a friend, so i only check up on the system on weekends. But what i could sample for now it carries one pump at a time.
2 surface pump ( 1hp).
1 submersible pump (1.5hp).

The first cycle starts in the morning 10 am.
Second pump cycle starts at 3 pm.
All 3 tanks are filled twice a day. For fish farming.

Sako hybrid 3.5 kva 24v.

I pump water like 3 times a year. Have about 5 big tanks. Some are 5,000 litres. All for personal use. I know I could upgrade capacity of pumping machine BUT that would proportionally increase load.
Still have to use hotPlate during the day on a separate setUp. Make I get wetin I fit maintain abeg. No be say when e reach to spend money, I go begin do like person him rent go soon due

Its for a fish farm, i helped a friend of mine design and procured it for him. So far everything good, but we have not reached that sweet spot yet. We need more panels. Just 5 450 watts panel for now , all in series.
