To me time appear to move at a very slow pace, than what you have today.

I remember the lengthy time we spend in school, then get home wait for the television stations to begin, that endless waiting is always ended with drums of the national anthem by 4pm signaling television is about to start. After the announcer gives a rundown of things to come we get glued to the tv. Along the way tv suddenly is not with volume or has lost color, you give it a good slap at back the tv will reset. Tv then were rugged.

We were based in Lagos then, so every 4pm different channels were available, and you also re cieve stations from other states.

But the best stations showing in Lagos was channel 5, ltv8, channel 10. But the cable TV of that era belong to a station in Ogun state. I think ogbc. This station was way ahead of all stations in nigeria, the kind of movies and entertainment was top notch.

They showed very recent movies, they were ahead of their time, I remember watching a movie with my elder siblings all of a sudden it became very breezy has in serious rain was coming.
Na so we lose signal for ogbc, see everyone face Oya smally go and adjust the antenna on the roof, I was made to go and adjust the antenna, I managed to climb the roof and started adjusting the antenna back then you will shout from the roof how far is it ok, my siblings will respond then more to the left or right. Take it back a bit, you missed it, it's not clear again. Start from the beginning. If you get a clear signal, you together the antenna are free from verbal abuse.
