Like I said, Lagos is an Over populated Mombasa and Abuja is exactly the same as Arusha in Tanzania. The City standards of East Africa are too high compared to be compared with West Africa. There is no City in West Africa that can Match Nairobi, Dar es Salaam and Addis Ababa. The fact that Kigali alone Beats Abuja hands down says alot about the urban standards in West Africa . The bus terminal in oshodi alone come with restaurant,hotel,mall,bus parks, waiting are you name it...
Do you know Lagos is about to commence construction of her cable car transport... already we've received fund from AFDB...now those are infastructure no city in Kenya and east Africa can ever reach (excluding TZ out of this convo)

2:what a joke..The roads you see in Abuja today are not new as you sing..They were built in the 90's and early 2000's..And the fact that they still look shinny today should tell you alot about it quality..in bypass almost every large street in the CBD of Abuja has a flyover...it is a planned city afterall

Only few African cities have a modern looking airport like Abuja that is connected to a light rail..Things like this are only common in Europe and the developed world...
And yes Abuja airport beat Mombasa in air travels...

Once we exceed 2020 Nigeria economy will be entering its boom back with some many economic project coming up stream like the world largest refinery,world largest fertilizer plant, Nigeria LNG(one of the largest in the world),Africa greenish airline..All of this will save the I'll economy and attract investors from far and wide which see all halted real estate project in Abuja come back to life..some are already..
A little real estate boom,with more infastructure and Abuja will be competing European cities.. already the existing Infrastructure is solid and the city is still growing in more modern infastructure e.g modern light rail...
Have you seen the new train car for the light rail phase two?
