A picture say a thousand word. A road should look like this - if it passes a forest area. It should be clear, grass trimmed for visibility and etc. Nigeria roads I have seen - the overgrowth is right on the road.

The flowers grown mostly under irrigation in greenhouses. Kenya is very advanced. Our horticulture industry competes with likes of Isreal and Netherlands.. I saw Ghana flowers are grown in the forest .

I have seen that west africa roads - you don't even slash the overgrowth - and trim the trees near the road.

Infrastructure is not ugly concrete.

As you have seen in Kenya - we integrate the environment with our houses, roads, name it - the grass eventually reduce dust and pollution

And they become world-class that way - grass or trees make a huge difference - btw CLASS and West Africa backwater.

Just look at road trip from Lagos to Onitsha. It like a hell-hole. I saw one from Accra to Kumasi or Takoradi - and it was such a nightmare.

Unlike Nigeria - we allow grass to grow on the road - not paint the entire road like a zebra. So for Ngong road and that new road give it time - like 1-2yrs for vegetation to bgrow.

Give it one more year - and all the red soil will be gone - replaced by nice green grass. All Kenya highways grass and bushes are trimmed - every few months. West Africa roads look like a jungle. The jungle is allowed to grow so near the road.
