D roads in d area are death-trap.Cementry Road is nt motorable. Obale Road in Badia is a no go area. The most worrying tin abt d area is d spate of violence,riot and robbery perpetrated by d area boys. I hope u guys undastand what merit list means. I think its nt abt d highest score,its abt u havin more dan d cut-off mark.e.g, asuming d cut-off mark 4 yoruba is 50,d fact is dat d person dat score 51 and d person dat score 80 stand d same chance to b on d merit list cos both surpasd d cut-off mark,hence dey merit d admission,dough it is rational to pick d person wt higher mark first.e.g,i myself chose OAU 4 my DE wt distinction in 2009 and wasnt admted.wen i saw d Dean n questiond him,he told me point blank dat their criteria 4 merit is upper n above so they r justify 4 pickin pple wt upper. So my pple,no jst repete,pray n move fast

@deeflamez,thank u for giving me a clearer picture of the situation. If this is what happened, why are you guys blaming Osiomola? Abi na im sey make d policemen no get sense?this just showed how Nigerians abuse delegated authority/power,even the policemen in this case did the same.

@harjibode,u av a gud score n nice chance 4 admision.bt 2 be since chosin unilorin as 2nd choice without strg connection is a disadvantage. It is natural if unilorin give sm1 dat chose her as 1st choice and has 55 admision dan a second choice if d two doesnt pres any button cos dey myt tink dat ur 1st choice sch wil give u admission. My advice,no sit 4 house,enta sch nw and press button cos dat ur faculty is competitive n doesnt admit much

@all, nice reasoning and argument. This thread has shown me lot of things. I have seen how muslims were able to defend islamic banking wt prove and fact. i realized that islam is much than a religion but a way of life cos it covers and provide solution to every arear of human life (thought it is widely abuse). I have seen the fear of christians based on past experience bt i must confess most of their argument are sentimental rather than factual. For me, i belief islamic banking is a good idea that wil accommodate million of muslim that dont bank and may be d solution to our economic mess.

Do u think boko haram is all abt religion. For me, i believe there are many things to it than religion. I think this is a political / ethnic issue dat selfishly hide under religion(islam) to perpetrate evil
