Burnt gasket bruh.

First time it overheated, it didn't last up to 10 minutes nor did they temperature gauge reach the bold red mark. Cooled for an hour and took me home, drove almost 45 minutes.

No water droplets when you crank the engine.

Car runs smooth.

Only issue is water in the radiator flows back to the coolant container, makes the radiator go out of water and then engine overheats

Car never overheated.

Just that coolant disappears quickly after refill

2 gallons bought within 3 weeks.

That was a pointer something is wrong somewhere.

Ran some diagnostic scans, no fault codes at all.

The AC at lowest speed chills like a freezer , can this be the cause?

Read online about faulty radiator cap that allows coolant burn off , disappear, escape or vapourize faster. Can this be the issue?

I posted this earlier and no response helped.

Car overheated.

Radiator leaked at the top

A good mechanic worked on it and sealed the top

Problem persisted

Changed radiator cap

Still same issue

Today, just bought a brand new double cell radiator.

same issue still

After driving for about 10 minutes, temperature gauge stays at middle point and doesn't leave there but immediately you switch off the engine, the coolant reservoir is bubbling hot and full to the brim (meanwhile it contained little coolant before driving)

Car was bought at superb condition mid-May.

Also, dashboard heats up a lot and on cranking the engine, it's like a rush of water happens behind the dashboard.

What seest thou?

Don't just be physical. pray to God for the right car and the right person to buy from.

Not all that is good is right.

You went to a special centre to write NECO/WAEC so as to get the results you were looking for

Someone gave you expo while doing JAMB so you can score 200+


You went to see a relative in the university board and paid to get a good score for Post JAMB

You paid someone to write some exams for you while in Uni or paid in kind to get high scores


You slept with someone in that office to gain a promotion you didn't deserve.

All these and many more are highly synonymous to Certificate forgery or doctored academic credentials

Put ALL GAS cylinders far away from your cooker when it is being used, and please ensure that your kitchen is well ventilated always (i.e. windows are always open). You can also install a small gas detector in your kitchen which can detect gas leaks, and give off an alarm if gas escapes from the cylinder or cooker. undecided

Always ensure your valves are properly fitted and the pipe/hose does not leak. Get a technician to service your burner like once a quarter to ensure that all the soot and grime is removed from the burner so that nothing disturbs the free flow of air.

Finally, get a good fire extinguisher in your kitchen with a clear indicator gauge showing the level of foam or extinguisher material in the cylinder, and learn how to use it in case of an emergency! wink
