Driving on Badagry road is like travelling in a war zone. To say the the road has become a national embarrassment will be an understatement. Had to execute some rural electrification projects around Badary-Seme axis and couldn't drive 1km. The whole stretch to Seme Border is a death trap. Since 2018 that the contract was awarded and abandoned, I can see little changes this year, gone through the road a few times and sure work is ongoing. The question is, how many years will it take the government to fix a road of 62km , (mile 2 to seme border)? It is well |

Mup4life:Sometimes I wonder what some folks exactly want. You want a car with zero faults, simply drive to Coscharis or Elizade! A Tokunbo/Foreign Used Car can never be 100% perfect. Only a brand new vehicle is devoid of faults and all. Amdman let go of 10k to fix the sensor. The problem was those who did the cutting and welding did a shabby job. These are teething issues that can be fixed without casting serious aspersions on the good work Amdman is doing here. I haven't bought a car from him yet but follow this thread keenly. 2 things worthy to note: 1. Your money is safe 2. You get the ride you pay for These 2 are luxuries when you compare to other dealers on NL, I won't mention names, you know them. |
Great An estimated 11 million patients have recovered of the deadly virus. God is healing our world. Soon, all will come back to normal. |
Hmmm On San Diego Bay: Their title is "marine interdiction agent." Their mission is to stop drugs from illegally entering the U.S (Nick Oza/USA TODAY NETWORK) After the government built fences in San Diego, drug smugglers turned to the ocean, underground tunnels and, most commonly, the ports of entry. Last year more than 90 percent of the drug seizures happened in the port of entry, where millions of cars drive into San Diego from Mexico every year. Speaking from this angle, it's glaring loopholes left uncovered by the present-day Government of ours are deciphered, explored and ultimately exploited on all fronts inclusive of events such as this and these endangering acts are fast becoming the new normal. Corruption is spiking on a geometric progression. No government organization is innocent and pure. Now it's the NPA. Someone imported this. Someone cleared it. It came through international waters after all. Developed countries have a section of their naval operations dedicated to monitoring the waterways to impede the smuggling of stuffs such as this. All I wish and pray for is we all start to have a conscience that prevents us from contributing to the evils befalling this country! |
For about 2 years, I was on the waterways of Southern Bayelsa, traveling to and fro offshore locations. I felt uneasy getting onto a boat to a nearby village (where refining was done by the villagers which negatively impacted the region and their water quality), I declined going there that day and stayed back. After about 30 minutes, I received information that the boat hit a large impediment buried under the waterways and capsized. Everyone was safe but it was tough rescuing those who couldn't swim. I couldn't swim back then and who knows what could have happened. Water Travelling could have been the best compared to others if safety measures are put in place. Similar to air transportation, once an accident happens, chances of survival are slim Travelling on Speed boats is now more dangerous than ever, tidal waves comes with high pressures and can sweep a boat off its feet if it doesn't have a good grip, or mechanical stability from the attached engine. I always prefer a double engine speed boat with grips for passengers to hold on to. Heartfelt condolences to the families of the bereaved. May God keep us all. |

asamwababy:A compression test has been done and gasket was found intact. A failed thermostat caused all the issues. Thanks for your submissions. |

Apt and sound article! Tribalism tendencies are deeply rooted in the veins of an average Nigerian. It is high time we purge ourselves of this endangering trait so we can build and contribute to the development of Nigeria. By the way, I am certain a Yoruba/Igbo man who gets a highly-exalted position today be it in politics or in the corporate (public or private sector) world would push for his own people to get employed or get slots like they call it. Same from every tribe out there. It's happening everywhere. Sometimes when we curse and abuse folks in the corridors of power, I am tempted to say He who hath no sin, let him cast the first stone. From age 5 and above, typical Nigerians know how to bypass protocols, jump in front of the queue , forge receipts, use double meal tickets, go in to see someone in the banking hall so they can be attended to even though 50 people are yet to be attended to, the list is endless. I am not from any tribe but the Nigerian tribe! I believe in a better country where rights of the girl child will be protected. I am an ardent preacher and advocate of taking good care of females! God bless us all. |
BarrSly:Clean toks , won't ever do naija used ![]() Ran vin ,98k miles original, complete details of service history 2019 Michelin tires Super neat interior From VIN check, it had a front collision, so bumper was replaced plus headlamps. Fan now direct and no overheating for 3 days now I am taking it back to the workshop so they return it to factory settings and then find what exactly the issue might be. I am guessing a weak thermostat or coolant temperature switch sensor. A device that's suppose to trigger the fan to roll and cool the engine is not doing its work properly. After changing the radiator and radiator cap,It's until the temp almost reaches the red line on the dash gauge before the fan blows and the temp reduces back to the middle point, then same cycle again and again. When this happens, the coolant container overflows and is boiling. Now that the fans are direct, temp is stabilized and no overheating Next steps 1. Undo direct connection of fan 2. Change thermostat 3. Replace fan switch 4. Replace coolant temperature sensor This should fix the issue once and for all. What do you think? |
chukel:The constant disappearance of the coolant is a pointer the engine or components had a major issue. I Refill the coolant container every 2 days The only day I forgot to top up the coolant (was the day the issue started. New Radiator cap now, new radiator, fans run directly now...I pray if should fix it all. |
chukel:Vapor most times Clean , no smoke. From observations today, noticed it takes long before the fan picks. Temperature goes so high then comes down to the middle of the gauge , then same occurs per time. Guessed it's a failed thermostat Got a good rewrite to Run the fans directly, test driving tomorrow to see it it fixes the issue. If it does, a thermostat replacement is way to go. What do you think? |
