RomanceRe: How Do Men Even Get Wives Nowadays? by samuelson06(m): 1:29pm On Mar 23
stanvesco:
See paragraph 4&5
Na where ur wahala deyne that!
It's as tho the women you want don't want you and the ones that may accept you ; you berate them.

You want a 10/10 but cannot afford them or compete for them, but the 5&6/10 are beneath you?

Hmmmmmmm
I think I understand his story. He's gotten to a certain level in life and doesn't want girls that are barely surviving, but the ones that are also doing well see themselves too big to work with him. It's an unfortunate situation. I'll advise he doesn't settle for less nonetheless. In this country, the line between poverty and just doing well with family is very thin and no man should make the mistake of marrying a woman he knows can't contribute in any way.

Foreign AffairsRe: 22 Countries Offer To Reopen Strait of Hormuz As Iran Faces Diplomatic Isolation by samuelson06(m): 1:22pm On Mar 23
Svoboda:
Iran's strength lies in its decades long adversity from the US. Isolation isn't a new thing, as most Gulf countries had pandered to the US to counter Iran's influence in the region. In 2022, Qatar was even blockaded by the GCC as led by the Saudis and the Emiratis because they claimed Qatar was warming up to Iran. Saudi Arabia considered itself an Iran arch foe for decades, until it realized it couldn't hold on and sought to repair ties. None of the 22 countries is willing to offer any offensive action. This is because they understand the risks in being drawn into the war. The Strait of Hormuz is Iran's toy, and it will do with it whatsoever it pleases.

Trump is only barking like a mad dog at a dark alley. Even the Iranians are now taunting him and are asking the EU to enlist their help in protecting Greenland from trumps invasion.
When Iran eventually falls, you'll change your story. You think Iran can win the war? They better consider dialogue, else they're doomed.

Seems like this woman wouldn't be a bad PM after all.
She's very correct on her position. Whether you like it or not, running your own show is the best, especially when you can afford to do so. This should be an opportunity for them to look inward and face their fears once and for all, instead of trying to run a subsidy regime until world economy stabilizes.

The headline should be - "Daddy told me to stop attacking Iran's energy".

Iran caught them unawares with their cluster missiles. E shock dem.

This Isreal no get shame, without the US, meaning that one on one with Iran, Iran will level them in 24hrs.
Regardless of your noise, Iran will still surrender. US/Israel will win the war and Iran will never ever have the strength to sponsor terror again.

I would have love the Iranians to continue blocking the straight of Hormuz at least to teach the burger eating Americans a lesson.
The blockage may even push the US economy to a recession.

Anyway I am not surprised republicans always mess the economy while democrats fix things up.

Imagine the almighty America struggling to beat up Iran,a nation that has been under heavy sanctions for decades.

The great IRAN.
Still standing tall despite all the bullying from Israel and America.
Keep kwayett. You supporter of terrorism.

It's obvious UAE is the Arab version of USA. UAE go explain taya. It's simple. Stop USA from launching attack on Iran via your air space and Iran will stop attacking you. Very simple equation
You are talking like Iran can withstand all the countries they're attacking should those countries decide to attack them too. Las las, they won't still have any nuclear program.

Yes they do. In a court of law and not just jungle justice like this person got.
How many times have they been arrested and later released by the government? I understand your position, but sometimes you damn it. There's no justice in the court. You may be a good person, but sometimes you have to do real evil stuff, especially when the situation calls for it. By the way, soldiers are trained to k!lled the enemies of the state, and right there is one of them.

EducationRe: Anambra Nursing Students Protest Hike In Fees From ₦90,000 To ₦580,000 (Video) by samuelson06(m): 9:53pm On Mar 11
Gerrard59:
Let's be honest, the education is subsidised. The country is too overpopulated and poor to fund most of the federal system. The alternative is for "richer states" to subsidise tuition fees for indigenes and charge non-indigenes higher. But the federal government is just too poor to fund most of these schemes.

As for leaving, fine, not everyone should leave, but it is a model the gov't should encourage rather than discourage - train medical personnel for export. Charge them higher tuition fees, improve the standard and push for them to work abroad and send remittances.
If the government come up with a scheme that they want to train and export you, while you work for us for a certain number of years before going your way, there are so many people that'll subscribe to the arrangement. I don't like when someone says the government is subsidizing education in Nigeria. Have you been to schools and see the state of things, especially in regard to infrastructure that's supposed to help students learn and assimilate knowledge?

These things are not there. Our classrooms are overcrowded. No good whiteboard. No light. Sometimes, the students even buy whiteboard marker for the lecturers, and you come here telling me the government is subsidizing to education? How? They don't subsidize §h!t. They just don't care. They pay the staff from federal allocation, which comes from oil money. That's the truth.

The schools don't even remit to the government. It's just like that; anyhow. So, get the understanding and stop thinking they're helping in any way.
