Hello Guys! A quick one please, I had my biometric on 30th of September for a dependent visa of a tier 4 (general) student, I called the UKVI on Friday, and I was told decision has been made and should wait for my Passport from TLS. I am kind of Nervous though... Though I have a UK tier4 travelling history as well.

Secondly, A particular question on my visa application asked how long was I in the UK for? I typed in 26 months! From my calculation later on, I realized it was 25 months 28 days!!!

Could that be an issue? Every other documents are 100% genuine and intact.

Dear Nairalander. Please, I intend to apply for a Tourist visa in few months time. Although, I was denied when I applied in the UK as a student, on the ground of :NO TIES, that I should go and apply from Nigeria- Was surprised, even as an MBA student with valid UK visa and my programme was still running. I applied for a conference,then in 2015.

Now I am getting an invitation to visit a friend in the US, will like to know what are the documents needed? I work for a firm 9-5 Job as a Training Manager.

@justwise,every. Document including my Oanda printout and application for UK was also returned! Should i take all dis along with me? Is photocopy required too or strictly original copies?

@justwise, tnx, as per d maintenance fees, guess d statement should suffice dt,@least my balance wont be checked on a computer?can i give them my accomodation address as where am to stay?waiting for ur response

@justwise and all! just got my entry clearance today 2years for 18months programme. am happy and so delighted. many more success on the way, moving nextweek,cuz i need to do some shopping .lol

@justwise, like i said, tomorrow is my collection date!(My heart skips). I submitted My statement of result carrying the. Registrar's number and a certified Transcript duly stamped and signed.all tuition fees paid with a month booked accomodation with the college. Yet i still maintained 10000pounds for 33days before my application,Zenith bank PLC,My CAS,and Oanda. Print out, passport ,2p.photograph and My. Visa form. @plz i hope am safe oooo! Av been avn sleepless night againt 2mao...

@justwise,someone told me that our passports are not stamped for visa in Nigeria? that is always taken to UK? but i tot its Abuja!

Your application is still undergoing verification at the visa section.

However, is 15working days today,and am to resume on the 23rd of July, but am thinking may be the delay is as a result of my school indicating extension till 5th of august on my CAS might be d cause for slow response. Please advice

@justwise, my school resumes 23rd of July, and i submitted on the 27th of june, making it 14Wdays today! When am i likely to. Hear from them? WEST LONDON COLLEGE-Heriot Watt London Campus is the school name. Am worried, although. The schl gave me extension till 5th. Of August, stated in my cas!
Av paid the whole tuition fees, paid a month accomodation and held 2.5M in my account for the stipulated date.
Document submitted was just :Statement of Result,Transcript sealed and signed,Bank statement(Zenith) and Cas Statement coupled with my application forms.please, why is it taking dat long? I stated on my application i would like to leave on the 21st of this month though!

Greenwich is an Old University with less international out reach. why not go for Heriot Watt!
