people with apl will never mention their exact income but am being reliablely told that they earn over 280k. It might even be more. NCS is the best uniform job in this Country but I don't know how much Navy earn for GL-8 it might be better than NCS

I read online that custom Consol08 officers earn less than their counterparts in other paramilitary.. Is that still the case? Because no one has talked about the exact salary here.. Just give us hints like its the same with NIS, FIRE SERVICE, or its less than the rest.. Or give a range..

Lol, whoever you got your information from is lying to you, this letter is as real as it gets, I have seen the full copy, it has the full letter head of customs, stamp and is addressed to respective governors of each state, and attached to it is the list of names of the employed from that state which corresponds with the one published on newspapers, so just start preparing for training against next year, and it's definitely not in the first week of January Sha. The letter is as real as it gets

At first, I feel like not saying anything with regards to this letter but after so much consultations from different officers and men of NCS, I feel like saying it out.
First of all, this letter is not real. I called someone working directly with the CG, he said the letter is not from them. And any letter going out of Customs must pass through ACG HQTRs.
Pls let's all be serious. If in anyway u don't have any serious update to post here, pls don't post anything u r not sure of. Thank You

When you say pple were dropped due to (poor) performance do you realise that those 3500 applicants that went for screening in march were adjudged to have performed best in their various LGAs from the CBT?
Majority were screened successfully (both credentials and medicals) then allowed to take the race.
Officers that took charge of the screening were saying congratulations to them only for NCS to bring out another list claiming it's a supplementary list and giving it preference.

The truth is, I can't tell you as a matter of fact what led to the disqualification of those who didn't make it and it's simply because I don't know.

I'm only telling you what I heard from someone who purportedly spoke to someone who knew better, he shared the chat and if anything, they still might be called if the NCS leadership cave to pressure.

I want to share something I heard from someone who purportedly went to someone representing his state at the federal character commission.

He claimed they are trying to convince the CG to pick more from those that came in for screening but the CG is reluctant to as they scored below the cut off mark set by the service.

That even if another list will come out, those with a successful candidate from the LGA have a lower chance of getting in.

So it seems people were dropped based on performance.
