We are talking about building our future and to do that, we must not allow ourselves to be held back by the past. Buhari may still not be the so called incorruptible leader that people knew. What is the importance of their rally in kano when we know that holding it doesnt add to his chances? What is the importance of his declaration when we already know that he I s running? If i am a PDP supporter, Iwould say why not? Going ahead with the declaration is to make a statement that regardless of what they do, the government cant be brought to its knees. The APChit should go and die and the northerners can continue killing themselves.

If I were APC I would say this is the height of impunity insensitivity and cluelessness. It shows that the government doesn't care about it's citizens. We must end this cluelessness by voting out PDP come 2015.

If I were a concerned Nigerian, I would say it is unwise for the president to go ahead with the declaration. By the way, you don't have to organize an elaborate declaration before running for an office. It Is only fair that he either postpones or do it on a low key. When will our leaders learn?

Today abuja experienced one of theworst traffic gridlock because the roads were blocked. Many people going to work were stranded ad others had to trek.Gudluckl i declaring and one of my colleagues almost had an accident.

OK. It is good to air your views but I just can't stand it when people start alluding to some senseless idea that northerners are killing themselves because of politics. It is ideas like these that trivialize this issue and make insurgency difficult to defeat. The reality is that people are dying and even if the northern elites have planned to kill themselves, the children that died today definitely did not take part in the arrangements
If you stood up against child marriage, then you should stand up against this. By the way, what makes the assumptions of northerners killing each other flawed is the fact that among the northerners are PDP members who support GEj, are they part of the ploy?
