Leopantro: list of bad roads I use in OWERRI everyday 1. Bypass next to Government house through shell camp ( which I find very stupid because it is right next to government house) - very bad. 2. control roundabout - can break your shock absorber. 3. road going to world bank - that is not a pot hole, that is a lake. felt very bad when I saw a priest wearing white stuck in the middle of the lake in his car there. 4. Egbada road - use that road only if you have a 4 by 4 and your mechanic is in the car next to you with parts. 5. Works layout to IMSU junction - it's so bad that there is a madman stationed at that road that will tell you you are mad for taking that road. 6. Umuguma - if it rains for 10mins, the road becomes a river. even bike avoid you like the plague if you mention that area. 7. New commissioned Culvert - closed until further commissioning. 8. Round about before CBN - the other day while crossing there and trying to avoid bad spots I found myself facing where I was coming from. a full 180 degrees because of bad road. 9. New road joining works layout to Roachas house - broke my tyroid last week.
no renovation on these roads for the past 4 months.
3 weeks ago, I travelled to the village. got to Amaraku, saw how bad the road was I packed my car and took bike to the village. my reasoning was that if a major road was that bad, the village road would be worse. I was not disappointed.
the governor is working Roachas is destroying. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Its Either You Are On First Class Or 2:1.... by sanchos: 11:04am On Oct 25, 2015 |
I graduated with 2.2 also.but the funny thing about my life story is that I got employed before many of my contemporaries who made very good 2.1, how did it happen? For me I think it was by being at the right place at the right time. What do I mean..make very good use of your NYSC period, that's when the job search starts before service and not after. Having friends who think like you, in terms of job search. Stay confident, consistent and resilient, u will make it |

Hello Nairalanders, I am a young man of 33 working for an oil servicing firm, I have tryed 4 times to get married to a lady of my choice but each time I bring those ladies home to meet my family, they always reject those ladies. The problem with the first one was thr lady grew up in a broken home (her parents separated when she was young), the second ladies crime was that she didn't look promising and bright, also my mum met her once in my house and was insulting her and the girl retorted that "Ma you have daughters too" The 3rd ladies case was that she came from Oguta and that Oguta people are not good, the 4th one from Ohafia, they refused too.I let go all this for the sake of peace.
The 5th lady, I got objections which I didn't accept, I wedded her in the court, (their objections were based on their feelings that she worked and lived alone in Asaba alone) also saying that her Dad is a womanizer and a thug/cultist. I don't believe this because they have been trying to link me up with a family friends daughter who is a banker.
Now they know about the wedding, I have apologized for not seeking their consent first. I need them to be with me for the white and traditional weddings. They are refusing strongly, even saying I am under a spell and need to go for deliverance. I need your candid opinion on what to do, no jokes. |
