Lol, no be small thing. Especially when the company's immigration consultant told me I should get it in 2/3 weeks.

But, It all worked out good. Just resigned with peace of mind, I get to spend December here in Lagos, and got a new start date due next month.

Man proposes God Disposes.

Bro, God uses people to push stuff.
I trust He will do the same in your case.

Congrats man, i have been using your application as a benchmark to when mine will be out since we applied same time. Since someone helped to push yours,i will only put my trust in God for the embassy to work on my application. I am no more enthusiastic about this whole stuff.

As funny as it may sound I don't know the person that helped me. That means I don't have a direct contact at the high commission.

I wish I had a direct contact. The person who helped got those contacts didn't share them with me and he went out on a limb for me basically no money involved. Unfortunately I can't go back to ask.

It was the grace of God.

I got my CSV on Friday, for a job I should have resumed a month ago after I had applied 3 months 3 weeks ago.

In everything I remain grateful to God, especially since its been issued. But I'd say this, try to get someone with leg to have a look at your application If you are in a similar position.

I don't have information on how helped me so asking me won't help you. I just knew someone who knew someone who knew someone and it got issued in 2 days.

Apparently it's in Lagos as well. Or, how do you explain a 2 - 3weeks process turning into a 4 month process.

qalifa:

The backlog is in abuja tho

Hello house

Today make it 2 weeks I submitted my application to Lagos VFS and still saying under assessment I submitted November 9. But I noticed this morning that the hotel reservation I submitted with my application got cancelled yesterday.

Would that affect my visa application?

I doubt it would, my reservations got cancelled since September.

My brother this delay is no longer funny,i submitted my critical skill Visa application on the 6th of September and up till now i have not heard from them. It is wrong of them to hold on to our passport this long.

It's So wrong. I just hope I dont need it before they release it.

Hello House

I submitted a critical Skills visa application back in August, it's now close to 4 months, and nothing.
I have been to the high commission, VI, Lagos physically on several occasions in the past 3 weeks , and they say its awaiting approval from the consular General. How many years does he need to approve?! It's getting ridiculous.

I just now heard of this supposed backlog, When will this backlog be over. Any ideas
