Sports / Solskjaer Hits Back At Lampard's Claims That VAR Favours Man United by Sanusiaderoju12(m): 4:12pm On Jul 18, 2020 |
The Chelsea boss highlighted the number of calls that have gone in United's favour and Solskjaer has clapped back ahead of the FA Cup semi-final Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hit back at claims Manchester United have been lucky this season with the number of VAR decisions that have gone in their favour. Seven goals that had originally awarded against United have been overturned, the joint highest in the division, and it has led to claims referees are favouring Solskjaer’s side. Frank Lampard admitted he has concerns that United are getting a run of VAR decisions ahead of the FA Cup semi-final clash at Wembley on Sunday, but Solskjaer refuted any suggestion his side were being favoured and named three examples of decisions which could have cost them. I can sit here for hours now and try to talk about this.” Solskjaer said. “It looks like there's a narrative, it looks like people want to influence whoever's making the decisions. I hear people talking about luck, that we've been lucky more than unlucky. “If you look at the factual decisions, I don't want to sound like a certain manager talking about facts, but if you're offside, you're offside. That's clear. Talking about lucky, the penalty we got against Tottenham in the last minute that was taken away from us, that might be two points for us. “Talking about the red card Romeu should have had against us when he almost got Mason Greenwood crippled, that should've been a red card, maybe that would've helped us. “Talking about Mark Noble when he should have been sent off against us when we lost at West Ham, talking about the actual decision that is made that is against Man Utd but is overturned and corrected. “So it's actually me that should be complaining that we get decisions against us on the pitch by the on-pitch referee.” The United manager admitted he also wasn’t concerned that Mike Dean and Michael Oliver, referee and VAR controller on Sunday, repsectively, could be influenced by the comments made about his side this week. “There's a narrative there but we have to focus on our games. We let other people talk about that, I don't want to go too much into it because I might be in trouble,” Solskjaer said. “I hope I'm not now! I'm pretty relaxed on these and refs are going to be making objective decisions and are not going to be influenced by any emotion in any way, so I don't think they'll read [what Lampard said] Solskjaer confirmed Luke Shaw is set to miss the Wembley clash with an ankle injury he picked up in the 2-2 draw against Southampton, while Brandon Williams could return after missing the win against Crystal Palace with an eye injury. https://www.goal.com/en-ng/news/solskjaer-hits-back-at-lampards-claims-that-var-favours/en8du0nhulyw1tpbmbtm75axr |
Crime / Reasons Why Gokada CEO, Fahim Saleh Was Murdered By An Assassin by Sanusiaderoju12(m): 2:55pm On Jul 16, 2020 |
Following the gruesome murder of Chief Executive Officer of Gokada, Fahim Saleh, possible reason why he was brutally murdered has been revealed. It is now believed that he was killed by an assassin in a “financially motivated” operation. Before his death, Saleh was sued by a former prison guard turned criminal who was jailed for using his app PrankDial to secretly record and listen to employees’ phone calls. The app allowed Kirk Eady, the former deputy director of Hudson County Correctional Facility, place a call between two employees without them knowing he was behind it, then listen to whatever they said. He listened to their complaints about him and about their jobs then retaliated against them in the workplace, according to prosecutors. Eady who was jailed for 15 months, sued Saleh for fraud in 2017, claiming the app made him think what he was doing was legal. Daily Mail reported that Fahim was killed by a professional who rode with him up in the elevator then got out when it opened directly onto Saleh’s apartment. The killer, dressed in a mask, gloves and hat and wearing what police sources described as a ‘ninja outfit’, had a suitcase with him – presumably to remove his remains when he’d finished the job. The killer was said to have abandoned the scene and escaped midway into the operation when Saleh’s sister showed up unexpectedly. He reportedly left his electronic saw behind. New York Daily News reported that police sources said; “He used a stun gun to incapacitate Saleh before murdering him. “He was dressed like a ninja, full out, so you can’t even see his face. He clearly knew what he was doing. We think his intent was to get rid of the body parts and go back and clean it up and make it look like nothing happened. He left before he finished the job.” Police found that Saleh’s legs below the knees and his arms had been removed, with the missing body parts placed into bags. Surprisingly, there was very little blood. The New York Times reported that some effort had been made to clear up evidence. Cops are now trying to work out whether the arrival of the victim’s sister interrupted the dismembering of Saleh’s body. https://www.withinnigeria.com/2020/07/16/why-gokada-ceo-fahim-saleh-was-murdered-by-an-assassin/?fbclid=IwAR2K3oBmxUUBKOCyMrLKRWhxBi7HnZJmsTQEBGb0IZrzB5aRbGEIOtOZync |

UFC 251’s main event produced a more than decisive result as Kamaru Usman dominated Jorge Masvidal on Fight Island. Usman showcased his incredible wrestling pedigree time and time again in the fight, shooting in for takedowns and level changing at every opportunity. It was a well-deserved victory for Usman but Masvidal foughtbravelyTwo accidental head clashes opened up gashes on Masvidal’sface, but the 35-year-old still continued to blow kisses and smile through the pain barrier. Although his wrestling skills and takedown defence were never in question, Masvidal often found himself trapped helplessly in a cycle of clinches and grappling exchanges which clearly wore the fighting veteran down.By the two men entered the final round, the battle appeared tohave exhausted both men to the brink of despair and Usman tried to close the show with an anaconda choke, before Masvidal exploded with a late flurry. However, as the horn sounded to signal the end of the fight, the bitter rivals enjoyed an embrace and appeared to bury the hatchet after months of trading verbal barbs. Could the pair fight again in the future? And Masvidal’s post-fight comments will get UFC fans very excited as he suggested the pair could do battle again in the future. When asked to share what they said to each other as the fight finished, Masvidal told the media: “He said some good things, I said some good things… “Whatever, we’ll do it again and I just can’t wait and I’m gonna come back better. “I’m not gonna disappear from the sport without this belt being wrapped around my waist, one way or another. “I wasn’t at my best tonight but everyone can see I have a dog in me but this dog don’t shut up or roll over for nobody. “I was very tired at some spots and I was able to dig down and bring it back to my feet. Culture / How Black Babies Were Used As Alligator Bait By Hunters In America.. by Sanusiaderoju12(m): 10:32am On Jul 13, 2020 |
In 418 B.C Herodotus, the Greek philosopher who is known as the father of history said “a man who does not know anything about the events that took place before he or she was born will remain forever a child.” We must go a step further by saying that “any human being who refuses to learn from his or her history is condemned to repeating its mistakes and as such will share the same fate in the consequences of such mistakes.” Africa is a continent rich in history. As we enjoy telling stories of our golden past, it is important that we also give a complete and undiluted account of our journey through slavery and man’s inhumanity to man. Of all the atrocities committed against the enslaved Africans in the Americas and Europe, the use of babies as alligator bait is one which leaves anyone with a conscience, with a tear in the eye. Imagining that the child in question was yours, would send shivers down your spine. These things are not easy to say, but we must say them, for posterity sake. And for the sake of the present and future. Alligator bait, also called gator bait , was the evil practice of using infant African children as bait to lure alligators out from water to land. This practice was popular in Louisiana and Florida, and other parts of the South in America. During that era, there was a high demand for alligator skin, which was used in the production of leather shoes, jackets, belts, and other leather materials. Alligator skin was very profitable in the 1800s-1900s. But the hunters often had accidents and lost their arms or lives as they rustled the swampy waters in their attempt to attract the alligators to the surface at night. So, their other viable option was to steal slave babies and use them as bait. They didn’t find any rodents, or chickens, or rabbits, or little goats. Those were too valuable. It had to be a baby that a woman carried for 9 months under intense pain, brutality, and hard work. This account has been denied by many in their attempt to cover up this atrocity. But there are oral accounts, documentaries, and publications to substantiate our right to closure, empathy and healing. In 1923 a publication on ‘Time Magazine ‘reported that “From Chipley, Fla., it was reported that colored babies were being used for alligator bait. The infants were left to play in shallow water while expert riflemen watch from concealment nearby. When a saurian approach his prey, he is shot by the riflemen. The Chipley Chamber of Commerce said the story was “a silly lie, false and absurd.” Maybe so, but it was widely reported in the American press, so it was at least believable among white Americans of the time.” To give further evidence of this vile practice, photos and postcards found in the Jim Crow museum shed clear light on this. A man in Florida had a picture framed and put on his wall showing nine naked little African boys with the words “Alligator Bait” written below. To further buttress this account, on June 3, 1908, the ‘Washington Times’ reported that a zookeeper at the New York Zoological Gardens baited “Alligators with pickaninnies” out of their winter quarters. He sent two African slave children into an enclosure that was housing alligators and crocodiles numbering more than 25. The reptiles had to be led out of their winter tanks into summer tanks so they could be seen by people. They didn’t find any other way to do this, other than placing these children in the tank to lure the alligators and crocodiles out. How artistic!!! The article read that: Two small colored children happened to drift through the reptile house among the throng of visitors” and they were “pressed into service. The alligators “wobbled out as quick as they could after the ebony mites, who darted around the tank just as the pursuing monsters fell with grunts of chagrin into the water. The alligators were “coaxed” into their summer quarters by “plump little Africans. There were sources who claimed that the mothers were paid $2 (Two Dollars) for their babies to be used as bait. They also claimed that the babies were not hurt. But those were just false accounts, to hide the heinous crimes. Which sane mother would allow her infant to be tied with a rope around the neck and kept by the river or lake banks as bait? No mother would do that. And at the time, African slaves could not read or write, so how did they read the adverts and apply, as some sources have claimed? Such lies could be found in the September 21, 1923, headline of the ‘Oakland Tribune which read: “PICKANINNY BAIT LURES VORACIOUS ‘GATOR TO DEATH. And Mother Gets Her Baby Back in Perfect Condition; Also $2”. It is indeed very callous for a person to risk a baby’s life in such manner, and then go ahead to justify it with charming words. In an article by T.W Villiers Chronicles the gator bait process was described thus: “these little black morsels are more than glad to be led to the ‘sacrifice’ and do their part in lurking the big Florida gators to their fate without suffering so much as a scratch.” But on the contrary, oral accounts of this practice report that most times, the babies are eaten by the alligator, before the hunters shoot at it. The hunters would sometimes aim to kill the alligator only after the baby was in its jaws. Evidence of this is found in the postcards, pictures, and trinkets they made at the time to commemorate the practice. There are other articles that claim that the African slave infants were not only regularly used as alligator bait but violently skinned alive in preparation for this . We believe the smell of the blood and wounded flesh was meant to attract the alligators. There was an account by the grandson of a man who used to engage in this business of gator baiting, and this is what he had to say: “The slaves who had babies, they would steal the babies during the course of the day, sometimes when their mothers weren’t watching… Some would be infants; some would be a year old; he said some would be toddlers. He said they would grab these children and take them down to the swamp and leave them in pens like little chicken coops. They would go down there at night, take these babies and… tie them up, put a rope around their neck and around their torso, around here, and tie it tight. They’d be screaming… What they were doing would help them to chum the water. He said when they would throw the babies in tied to this rope, he said in a matter of minutes, he said, the alligators were on them. He said the alligator would clamp his jaws on that child. As a matter of fact, once he clamped on them, he was really swallowed. He said you couldn’t see anything but the rope! Some would be infants, some would be a year old, toddlers, some would be infants.” Some of these evil and unimaginable practices by slave owners in America could also be found in the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia in Michigan, USA “Shelved in the museum alongside the many stereotypical representations of “pickaninnies” (a racial slur applied to African-American youngsters) speaking fractured English, eating watermelon, catching opossums, etc., are similar cartoonish portrayals of black children (and sometimes black adults) as worthless “alligator bait,” according to accounts. The practice of using African slave children as “alligator bait” could also be found in movies and popular music and the lullaby “Mammy’s Little Alligator Bait,” composed by Henry Wise and Sidney Perrin in the year 1899. There is a deliberate attempt by those who carried out slavery to hide these parts of slave history. Not much is done by them to apologize and make reparations for these hideous crimes against humanity. Trying to deny this actually adds more grief to the descendants of the African slaves, being that their children are still killed in America today. The world asks Africans in Diaspora to forget these things. They say “those who committed these crimes and their victims are long dead, so let the history die with them.” But they soon forget that the Jews still remember and talk about the Holocaust every year. Japan still remembers and commemorates the nuclear bombing a Hiroshima. So why should the African diaspora shut up about the crimes against them? Studies have shown that the legacy of the events of slavery, still affects the African American’s mental health. This is because trauma can be transferred from mother to child, and no one knows how many generations that psychological trauma can travel. These accounts of painful history are meant to provide knowledge and also help the African Diaspora community in the tackling of these traumas. https://libertywritersafrica.com/how-black-babies-were-used-as-alligator-bait-by-hunters-in-america-bitter-history/amp/ |

Crime / Hushpuppi Scammed A Seria A Club Two Years Ago... by Sanusiaderoju12(m): 10:28pm On Jul 05, 2020 |
Popular Nigerian journalist Deji Faremi has claimed that suspected fraudster, Ramon Abbas popularly known as Ray Hushpuppi scammed a Serie A club two years ago. In 2018, an Italian newspaper Il Tempo reported that Serie A giants, Lazio were tricked into paying the final installment of the deal they struck for Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij from Feyenoord to the wrong bank account. De Vrij, 26, signed for Lazio from Feyenoord in 2014 having impressed at that summer’s World Cup, penning a four-year contract. The report claims that hackers with knowledge of the deal sent Lazio an email that appeared to be from Feyenoord asking for the €2m payment to the bank account details supplied. Lazio then paid that money to the account, but the Eredivisie champions never received the cash and claim that they have no knowledge of the email. Il Tempo claimed that the prosecutor that looked into the case tracked down the money to a Dutch bank account – but it isn’t Feyenoord’s. According to Deji, the scam that Lazio fell for in 2018 when it paid the final €2 million instalment of Stefan De Vrij transfer fee into an account pretending to be Feyenoord’s was masterminded by Hushpuppi who is now facing a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in a US federal prison after being extradited from Dubai to the United States. https://www.withinnigeria.com/2020/07/05/hushpuppi-scammed-a-serie-a-team-of-e2-million-deji-faremi-says/ |

He said in an effort to evacuate the said item from the scene, some unscrupulous elements launched a vicious attack on the officers. He said that the hoodlums aggressively advanced towards the scene of the seizure with assorted dangerous weapons with a desirous effort to set the place ablaze. “Considering the volatility of the seized items involved and the fact that all efforts short of using force to halt the mob from advancing towards the scene proved abortive, officers were left with no option than to use their firearms in order to defend themselves and avoid the envisaged catastrophe. “However, verifiable information later received indicated that two innocent young males were injured by stray bullets in the back and ankle respectively – Adomeh Henry, 10, and Hunsu Taiwo, 12. . “In view of the above development and the utmost priority by the Command to always protect and respect the sanctity of human lives/safety in every operation, the injured fellows were immediately rushed to Customs Clinic for proper medical intervention and fortunately the result came out with no major damages. This gave room for prompt treatment of the patients at Customs facility and were consequently discharged strictly based on medical advice” he added. He further said that the command has registered its unreserved displeasure to the villagers for the unfortunate incident. Adding that as a responsible and responsive Service, the command was working round the clock to partner with the family by providing all the necessary support to cushion the effect of this tragedy. “Finally, the renewed hostility by smugglers and their accomplices will never be a distraction in discharging our statutory responsibilities. On the other hand, daredevil smugglers will continue to meet their waterloo with no breathing space in Seme Area,” he said. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/two-injured-as-hoodlums-engage-custom-officers-in-a-shootout-at-seme-border.html?fbclid=IwAR1J5ZfbIm6ozApkBOFASwATSxwsffjMjsxMlJXCpxTcyA81AfWv8ps03yk |

Sports / Wigan Athletic Situation Get Worse by Sanusiaderoju12(m): 2:14pm On Jul 03, 2020 |
LATICS LEAK EFL chairman Rick Parry secretly filmed telling Wigan Athletic fan that administration was ‘linked with bet in Philippines’ EFL chairman Rick Parry has been secretly filmed suggesting Wigan Athletic’s administration could be linked to ‘a bet in the Philippines on them being relegated’. The Latics became the first club since the coronavirus pandemic to enter administration, leaving them facing a 12-point deduction . If the points deduction applies this season then there is real possibility of them being relegated to League One. Administrators intend to investigate how Wigan ended up in this situation despite changing ownership a month ago. The club were sold from one Hong Kong-based business to another. Until recently they were both owned by the same person, businessman Dr Choi Chiu Fai Stanley. Chinese businessman, Au Yeung Wai Kay, recently replaced Dr Choi as majority shareholder of Next Leader Fund, who took over control of the club from International Entertainment Corporation (IEC). A Wigan fan, who lives near to Parry, managed to speak to the EFL chairman about the club’s situation as he returned home. A clip of the conversation was then posted on Twitter. Parry was heard on camera saying: “There are all sorts of rumours. There’s rumours that there is a bet in the Philippines on them being relegated because the previous owner has got gambling interest in the Philippines.” The EFL confirmed they were aware of the video on social media and released a statement. It read: “The EFL is aware of a video of its chairman posted on social media this evening that discusses recent developments at Wigan Athletic. “It was part of a much wider and impromptu discussion he was having with a Wigan supporter he does not know but who lives in the same area. “The private conversation focused around the events of the last 24-48 hours, how the EFL can assist and what happens next. The various rumours and reports that have been circulating throughout today were also discussed. “Whilst the chairman was unaware he was being filmed, he was happy to engage in the debate and appreciates this is a concerning and challenging time for all those associated with the club.” source https://talksport.com/football/efl/726263/efl-rick-parry-filmed-wigan-administration-linked-bet/?utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=talksportfacebook&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR3Ver8NC_sygZW2UADrJ24-Y7QRx56_sboLb75mtlEbGkTm9YXQSLpkSvo#Echobox=1593770497 |
Culture / Revisiting The Origin Of Yaruba And Yoruba by Sanusiaderoju12(m): 1:55pm On Jul 03, 2020 |
Revisiting the origin of Yaruba and Yoruba.
Yaruba have had various names in the past and are still valid
today.
According to Ile Ifeh historical account, Lamurudu, Namurudu
(Nimrod) our ancestor, built the tower of Baba-Alarubawa, Babala
(Babel, Babylon) circa 1million BCE. The tower ruin is still in Ifeh
(Eveh).
Lamurudu is Eya-Aruba, YaAruba that we are called today meaning
tribe of Aruba. His house is still in Ifeh (Eveh) written on it
Yaaruba. Aruba means love one like Olukunmi, Okun. Aruba is
twisted to Arabia but in ancient time is Aruba.
How we became Yoruba:
During Alaafin world power government in the early first
millennium, we were called Oyo-Aruba, Yoruba. In those days only
the Oyo are Yoruba. When an Ekiti person wants to describe an
Oyo person, they will say the Yoruba person.
Akokoda, Akkoda (Akkadians) meaning the first creations and Olo-
Sumare or Olo-Shumare (the Sumarians) were other early names of
the Yaruba.
The Sumarians left Ile Ifeh (Eefeh, Eveh, Ivri) to form cities outside
Ifeh then other continents, 780,000 BCE. Olosumare meaning the
rainbow (Aare-mbowa) people were refered to in the texts as the
Anunnaki. Anu-ni-ake, Anunnake is old Yaruba word for Eni-ni-oke
(ilu oke) meaning people from above. Anunnake left lfeh (Eveh) to
found continents outside Afrika.
Please check Squibblejack on Youtube on full text on the
Sumerians
Our name as Omo-Noah-bi omonoahbi, but became Omo-Olu-iwa-bi,
omoluabi, the letter n and l mean the same in Yaruba words when
used.
Omo-ti-Noah-bi is omo ti Oniwa bi.
Ile Ifeh song about Oduduwa goes on:
Odu to niwaooo
Odu ni odu to ni wa
This is the name of the patriarch Oduduwa Adua (Duwadu) himself.
Our name Aku aaro aojii ire bi can be linked to Ooni Owuro
Kutukutu or Kutukutu Owuro (Orisha of morning star). He is
probably Aku Owuro barami (Akubara, Akuba). We Yaruba became
Eya-Akubara, Yakuba, Yakub, Jacob). Bara (father)
Bible version for change of name:
Ikinni-isheshe, Kinisese (Genesis) 32, about Jacob wrestled with
Orisha Akoda, Agoda (God):
In reality, YarubasiriEla (Yasriel) would have contacted Ifa for
change of name. They wrestled with Ifa to bless them and Ifa
changed their name from Yakuba to Eya-siri-Ela, Yasiriel (Israel).
Meaning of Israel on Wikipedia:
Ya (person, man) Sr (sees), El (God).

Sports / Efe Ajagba: From Street To Stardom by Sanusiaderoju12(m): 11:19am On Jul 03, 2020 |
From the streets of Ughelli, Delta State, to world boxing stardom, U.S based Olympian Efe Ajagba has announced his eagerness to take on top ranked heavyweight boxers including Anthony Joshua and Tyson fury. TAIWO ALIMI captured his words. Efe Ajagba is only 26 and has fought in heavyweight division only 13 times yet his story has become folklore in boxing world. One epic tale has it that an opponent; Curtis Harper, walked out of the ring in apparent horror at the mere sight of him. It was widely reported, sarcastically, that he must have seen something others did not see in the former Olympian Efe Ajagba. Another has it that before taking up boxing he was playing soccer. He got into a fight with an over-six footer body builder, knocked him out with one punch and his friends suggested he take up boxing. So, he quit soccer for boxing. This was in 2014 and within two years he had represented Delta state, country at the Commonwealth games, Africa games and Olympic Games. He has been compared with George Foreman upon turning pro in 2016. After knocking out Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury called out Ajagba as one of the tough heavyweights he would like to fight before retiring. Remarkably, the over 6 footer boxer did not have interest in boxing growing up. “In Nigeria, soccer is the number one sport and I wanted to be a successful footballer growing up. I played for a local team where I have to pay money before I get the opportunity to play. But, I did not mind because I just wanted to play soccer. In-fact I was not interested in boxing and did see any fight by Nigeria’s heavyweight fighters. I don’t know (Ike) Ibeabuchi but my father loves watching boxing. “When Samuel Peter fought Vitalis Klitschko he bought the tape and was always watching it. Sometimes, he would invite me to join him so Peter is the only boxer I know. “ Confirming the incidence that led him into boxing Ajagba related: “I was walking with my friends after a soccer game one day when a lady working out with a body builder guy splinted water on me. I asked her to apologise but she became rude and her body builder friend threatened to beat me up. He thought I would be scared of his huge frame. A fight ensued and I hit him hard on the left eye. He fell and fainted. In-fact I was afraid but he was revived after water was poured on him. “Two of my friends could not stop talking about it and they encouraged me to go into boxing. I thought about it and began to have dreams of boxing. I asked around and later went to Ugheli stadium where I met a coach who offered to train me for free. He said I must be focused and train hard. He said many had come and run away because they were not ready to train hard. “I made up my mind to put in everything and within some time I got into the state team, made the Commonwealth games in 2014 and came back with a bronze medal. It was the first time I would be attending an international tournament. “In 2015, I was at the Africa games in hosted by Congo and I won gold. During the Olympic Games qualifier that was held in Cameroon, out of 10 Nigerian boxers to the meets, I was the only one that made the 2016 games. I made it to the Olympics quarter- final but secured the fastest TKO in boxing event. From there I got a promoter and signed up. I also made up my mind to turn pro and that is it” Reminded of the crazy drama of the walk out by Harper, Ajagba simply smiled before answering. “I’ve never seen anything like it. It is the first time such a thing would happen in world boxing. When the guy walked out I was upset because I was going to lose money for not fighting. If you don’t fight you don’t get paid. I was upset. However, I became calm when the fight was awarded to me by TKO and got paid. That excited me. But, guess what? That walkout made me popular. It drew the world attention to me. I guess it happened for a reason.” Indeed, Ajagba is terror with a physical presence; a 6-foot 6, 240- pound powerhouse, with a high-level athleticism to go along with an 88-inch reach; he’s also a hardworking and passionate learner eager to hone his craft. A straight puncher with swift foot movement and dedication to excellence, any opponent would dread him. He suffered his only knock down early this year and beat himself hard for it even though he TKO the offender, Lago Kiladze in the fifth round. “After the fight, I was so mad,” Ajagba told BoxingScene.com. “I was not happy because my performance was terrible. It was terrible. I made a lot of big mistakes. So, for this fight Saturday night, I need to come back strong.” When he wobbled Kiladze in the third round, Ajagba recklessly attempted to knock him out. A surprising right hand by Kiladze sent Ajagba flat on his back with 38 seconds to go in that round. “I took a lot of punches, but the one I didn’t expect, that’s the one when I went down,” Ajagba said. “I didn’t see that punch. Any punch you see coming, you don’t feel it. But any punch you don’t see coming, that’s when you feel it.” Ajagba recovered quickly, came back to drill Kiladze with a right hand that dropped him in the fifth round and unloaded several more power punches that made Kiladze’s trainer, Shadeed Suluki, throw in the towel later in the fifth. Ajagba rebounded in the fight to deliver a ninth-round stoppage of Razvan Cojanu (17-7, 9 KOs), knocking him down twice en route to the victory. Before the fight, Ajagba had predicted that he would KO Cojanu. “I don’t think the fight will go 10 rounds,” he said. Ajagba is tough and ambitious. “I want to get into the Top Five of world heavyweight boxing. That is my problem. Few boxers can take my punch. I believe in myself and I work hard to get where I am. I’m still working hard. My belief is that if you work hard you can get to the top. I see myself as a champion. I’m not scared. I respect boxers like Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and (Deontay) Wilder. Joshua is a great boxer but he is not a Nigerian. That is the truth. AJ is successful but I’m the best heavyweight right now,” Ajagba added. https://thenationonlineng.net/efe-ajagba-from-street-to-stardom/?fbclid=IwAR3uaie7_B0o0TvjDUYOwIBiT2Xb_Iz7VPm5ZpvrqB99hSuxnlkPr12wygw |
