Politics / Re: Amaechi Blamed For Revealing Sanusi's Letter To Jonathan by sapman: 6:48pm On Dec 11, 2013
Nairalanders, these NNPC people think Nigerians are just as stu.pid as them. Their story does not add up at all. How can 76% of oil proceeds of a country end up distributed across various other departments without accountability? Where does DPR keep its funds? Is it not CBN? So how come CBN has no knowledge of the funds so much so that the CBN governor has to write to the president?

It can be assumed that in the past, funds up to a certain amount have been going into the federation account in prior years otherwise the CBN governor will not hand-deliver this type of letter to the President of the country! So how come that this year, funds suddenly dropped to trigger this kind of letter to the president. Remember the CBN Governor has held this post for about 4 years now so there's history and trend regarding how much goes to the federation account yearly.

Can someone please explain how you could own a commodity, sell it and distribute 76% of the revenue to some other government entities and say that's it? Something doesn't sit straight on the table here!

BAKAREAAT: Pally i dont understand what you mean unprofessional in this case ,i believe this is a network for us to assist ourselves and if a coy is implementing
or needs any staff i dont understand unprofessional you are talking about .infact all those name mention is only one i have not tried. When FBIR is implementing people informed us and if you know the contact person and if you are luck enough you join the truth and if i ask you a simple question now that which coy are you deploying for does that mean unprofessional and i dont know what you are hiding ?
I chat and visit sites home and abroad and so i am wide but i dont know everything. The names of coy that have actually implemented SAP ERP in Nigeria you can mention them and so what are we talking about and 99% of them brought in their expert abroad.although sap office in nigeria may be doing small small things i dont dispute that

@Bakareaat, if you are looking for a job, you are going about it the wrong way. A lot of potential employers are on this forum and just watch without commenting at all. I am trying to help and you are asking me to list companies' projects for you on a public forum. What a joke! If you have tried all those companies and were not offered a job, does that mean they do not have any project or that no one is implementing SAP in Nigeria? You need to look inwards and see if you are missing anything and keep on trying. Your trying period will either make you bitter or better - the choice is yours. Besides, you can take a look at the companies' websites where all of them have a list of their clients but your best bet is with a consulting company at this stage and not an end client.

If I were you, I will heed the advice you've been given on this forum, try a little bit of humility and not all these 'in your face' and 'know it all' attitude, then maybe you will make some headway in your job hunting. Good luck.

BAKAREAAT: Please mention the projects and coy name .
so that candidates can seek for placements in these coys since you said your coy is doing many jobs.
Thank You

It is unprofessional to start mentioning projects of corporations on this forum. However, here are some of the consulting companies you may want to try:

Hartford Green Consulting Limited
Datalink Consulting Limited
Serve Consulting Limited
Alok Consulting Limited

BAKAREAAT: Bro dont be deceive SAP Jobs are not really in Nigeria.Only few coys can afford the cost of deyploment of this Global software and 99% are majorly
Multinational co-operations.
Thank You
Taiwo

SAP has evolved over time particularly with the release of SAP Business All-in-one. This has made SAP quite affordable now and I'm very much aware that a number of companies are signing up here in Nigeria. My company is working on quite a few projects. Maybe when we need more consultants we will advertise on this forum. Best of luck!

kokoA: Do you have a clue of what how handsome their pay is?

No idea but I imagine it should be 'market rate' i.e. depends on your experience and skills set

Hartford Green Consulting is a solid consulting practice as far as I know. Give it a shot.
Family / Re: Conditions For Divorce In Christianity, and [Some Legal] Grounds for Annulment by sapman: 12:48am On Nov 09, 2012
May I quickly add that one more sensible reason for divorce is if there is physical or severe emotional abuse. A large percentage of murdered women were killed by men that once said they love them
Certification And Training Adverts / SAP HANA by sapman: 4:19am On Feb 03, 2012
If you would like to 'test drive' the new SAP HANA solution, you can apply via this link below for access from SAP. You need to register in SAP MARKETPLACE and obtain an ID first :

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/webcontent/uuid/a01f2bae-82d8-2e10-f3ac-b33d4c919918

You can register at SAP MARKETPLACE using the link below (DO THIS FIRST):

https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/~SAPIDP/002006825000000234912001E

You will be given access to SAP HANA for 120 hours that will only have 30 days validity. After 30 days, that will be it.

Good luck.

Let me add my 2 kobo to the posting by @saperp_sms. You may also want to look into registering at SAP SDN website - "http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn". Go to the forum you are interested in and you will find tons of information there. I find the forums in the SDN very useful even though occassionally, there are some dodgy or misleading answers to questions there but by and large, it's pretty useful.

Also, if you are fortunate to find a mentor i.e. someone already in the SAP industry in the area of your interest who is willing to give you a bit of his/her time, that will be great. In addition to this, SAP now has excellent books for all modules. Visit www.sap-press.com. I will recommend getting them if you have someone abroad who can buy and send over to you in Naija. I don't know if you can get those books sent to Nigeria directly from that website.

Nice to hear about SAP here!

I am an SAP guy based in the U.S. with about 15 yrs SAP experience, ABAP, Certified in SD and BW and worked across all the SAP modules from the point of view of BW. Implementing SAP BW for the last 10 years in U.S., across Europe and in China. Thinking of coming back to naija sometime to set up consulting outfit and also train our youth in this wonderful technology. Hoping to educate myself about the SAP terrain in nigeria.
