I told them, don’t vote for APC, don’t vote for Buhari but they said the Osinbajo effect will help Buhari perform extraordinarily well. I laughed in tongues because they didn’t understand that power before campaign and after election are different. The VP is only meant to ‘shine’ under the president as long as he plays his position which is ‘yes sir’ to the president. Now, I had always known that Buhari wasn’t the messiah but even I did not forsee the extent to which Nigeria would be damaged. A nation where cattle and cows are rated high above human lives, a nation where the president is quick to offer condolence tweets to France, Germany etc on terror attacks but silent on genocide happening in his own backyard, a nation where the president is quick to sell out the youths to foreigners by calling them lazy and depending on oil money but yet his children have no known jobs or businesses (and if known, funded by whom?) but ride thousands of dollars in powerbike, a nation where the president is is bald but budgets #86m for haircuts..... hmmm that nation is Nigeria ��! Dear Mr VP, I don’t know what was promised you or what vision you saw or if you believe you are actually effecting change using your position but be careful, oh be careful and retrace your steps. |
