This is so sad!

Tge case of this 17-year-old boy, Dominic Adiele, who was recently murdered by his uncle Patrick over his inheritance in Anambra on Sunday, May 27.

Yabaleft reports that, Dominic who hails from Uzi-Ezike kindred Umuzu in Eziama-Ubulu area of Anambra, was allegedly beaten by his uncle, wife and six children which led to his untimely death.

It was reported that 17-year-old Dominic died at an undisclosed hospital in Ihiala, Anambra on Monday, May 28. Following the death of the young boy, it was gathered that Patrick, his wife and four of their children were arrested by the police.

Prior to this time, the family have fought over ancestral inheritances and it was revealed that Dominic’s father, Odinma Adiele, was reportedly killed in a similar circumstance about 15 years ago by the same Patrick.

Dominic’s death brought commotion in the community as his maternal relatives arrived Uziezike on Tuesday, May 29, to burn down Patrick’s home and his economic trees. However, the relatives did not do it alone but with the help of angry mobs.

The highly anticipated list of nominees for Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music award show, The Headies is finally out.



The awards academy released the list after shortlisting thousands of entries submitted in the year under review (from July 2016 – December 2017). In this 12th edition of the award show, we have various acts compete for the ultimate prize with over 25 categories and 77 nominees.



This edition has, Davido leading with the highest number of nomination, having been nominated in 6 different categories while Wizkid, Simi, and Olamide, followed in this win as they all have 5 nominations each. The story of two young geniuses who constructed a machine that would save many lives. The young men constructed a machine that can wash bitter leaf and convert the juice for medicinal purposes.

The men who are from Anambra state named the machine OGANIHU C². They revealed to that Oganihu is the Igbo word for progress, adding that the C2 stands for the first letters of their names.

OGANIHU C² inventors, Ubaka Chukwuebuka Patrick and Atikpo Chukwuebuka Patrick, stated that the machine washes bitter leaf and converts the juice into medicinal substances.
Ubaka Chukwuebuka said: "After washing the Bitter Leaf, we will Convert the bitterLeaf Juice(water) into Fertilizer(Liquid). We also uses its water(Juice) to Produce Methanol, Insecticides etc. The project is quite Mechanized. You don't need to touch anything, it's Automatic."
