According to report shared by a Facebook user,the 14-year-old pupil pictured below was on Monday crushed to death by a fast-moving vehicle while being chased by a masquerader, popularly known as okorosha, at Ogbaku, in the Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.

The deceased was on his way to school when he saw the masquerade and took to his heel while the masquerader capitalised on his fright and chased him till he ran into the path of the vehicle on the Onitsha-Owerri Road, a few metres from a police division in the area.After the incident, the masquerader was said to have mixed with other masqueraders, leaving the boy in a pool of blood.The incident happened around 9am.

A lady was reportedly shot dead by a man in Aba.It is unclear why he shot her but according to sketchy reports,the man invited her over and they had a misunderstanding.The lady was allegedly trying to run away and expose him before he shot her dead.Police lady arrested the man.Here is what prosper wrote.....

'I met Baba on my way home from last night within the city center. The weather was really cold and I just couldn't drive by,I was afraid but I stopped to find out where he was heading and he showed me N200 note,he was trying to get food! Baba was very hungry, it was past midnight and there was no where to get food. I called my brother Prince Enifome Enaroseha Eribo (woke him up) to quickly meet me up and help get him whatever was available for baba to eat. Baba took my brother and I to where he lives on the COOLED STREETS of a slum near area 3 junction Abuja. He is a retired soldier,speaks very fluent English language,he's sane,lonely,sick and homeless. Che Oyinatumba is there any kind of shelter here in Abuja for the elderly? My brother and I got him some medical help,a bath and change of clothes earlier today. He needs a roof over his head ASAP!WE NEED SHELTER'

From the little I could understand from the story shared in Hausa by Bello Danfulani,a civil servant in Sokoto state,Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal today attended prayers for late Hajiya Fatima.The deceased is the mother of Governor Tambuwal.She is survived by seven children,one of whom is Alhaji Nura Ibrahim (Turakin Tambuwal).


Among those who attended the prayer were the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Ahmad Ali,Secretary of State Prof. Bashir Garba, commissioners,security agencies and leaders of Sokoto State.

Arrestof Suspect for Unnatural Offence (Homosexuality)

On a tip of information, Niger state Police Command arrested one Mustapha Abdullahi age 32 years old for having unlawful sexual intercourse with four young boys ages 12 to 15 through their anus. Suspect has been charged to court.
