1. Your son might have visited 5 countries in Europe but to be frank is that one of the criteria to qualify for F1 visa ?

2. How did you know he answered the questions very well ? Did you see the video or verbal recorded tape where he was answering the consular questions?

3. When the embassy says he does not have a tie does the 214B stated that they needed him to show family properties? Does the denial slip asked him to show work history?

Why not come out straight with a genuine question instead of painting the US embassy as a bad entity ? You will know what went wrong after you must have posted his genuine and honest transcript, otherwise he will repeat the same failure .

I'm in Canada and my Nigerian international Passport will expire in 2027 . I'll be finishing my second(2) program end of next year 2025. When I apply for my PGWP I should eligible for 3 years of PGWP .So my Question is , Is it Possible for me to Renew my Passport now ? Will the high commission in Ottawa attend to me considering the fact that my Passport is still valid till 2027.

Please has anyone being in this situation before ? Please I'll appreciate your feedback 🙏 Thank you

I am traveling from Abuja to Toronto, via lufthansa but transiting through Frankfurt and Paris.

I hold both a Canadian Visa and an American Visa.

Do I still need a Transit Visa.

My assumptions did not make sense but non of you has come out to write the assumptions that make sense .

You all claim experiences which turn out counter-productive for most of you. All of you have forgotten that United States visa types changes policy like chameleon and you think US embassies will stay stagnant on visa policies like you.

1. I have B1/B2 , and F1 experiences which i am ready for off-hand debates with any one of you with the convidence that i will come 1st.

2. In USA visa procedures , your old experiences and my new experiences are almost useless . UPDATES IS WHAT IS USEFUL AND NEEDED .

3. I have done many courses both physical and correspondence on USA visa policies and i am registered with a Yearly paid sites which hint members visa policy changes 24/7.

4. I am using Nairaland as a training ground to train my ability in sorting out all USA visa procedure teasers. I work with more than 6 International Immigration Attorneys .

5. You are using old experiences which might have been faced out but i am using updated training .

2. Also , you must apply for emergency visa appointment under one of the following :

Student Emergency
Medical Emergency
Business Emergency

Good morning everyone. Please I need your help. We applied for visa renewal under interview waiver as a family. We all qualified for interview waiver. My husband and I were granted visa but my daughter was refused under 221g. She was asked to schedule another interview. Which we have done. Question is, we don't know if it's a regular or physical interview or drop off. The confirmation appointment letter is similar to the interview waiver.
Experienced people in the house, can you please throw more light on this. Thank you.

1. You are looking for public opinion and you are hammaring on assumptiin ? Why did you not ask the consular or the cgi call centre if you know what you are doing ?

2. My friend , you know nothing about the 221g otherwise you would have followed the instructuion written on it. 221g form is explanatory , its different to 214b.

3. You claimed that you apllied for the IW yourself but you dont know how your daughter will go back and answer her query ?

4. Your daughter is an adult and your family is not looking for avenue for relocating ..Dont tell me that again. Tell your daughter to go back and tell the visa officer .

5. Keep waiting for lies from those who have had the experience before . You will soon realise that USA visa is a chameleon .

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share a bit of a situation I'm dealing with regarding my NOI. I received it back in December and submitted my documents shortly afterward. However, there seems to be a discrepancy with one of the details in my reference letter from a previous job. I mistakenly stated that I finished my tenure there a year earlier than I did. While my total years of experience remain accurate, I have been asked to explain why the dates don't align with what's on my payroll slip.

I'm a bit concerned that simply saying it was a mistake might not suffice and could potentially affect my application. Any thoughts on how I should approach clarifying this with them? I'd really appreciate your advice on the matter.

The cheap one's are united airlines but it's from Accra to Toronto. They also pass through America but you wouldn't need a transit visa, I made sure I checked that specifically

I got this email 2 days ago and I got a courier dispatch notification today(paid for courier return). If no courier payment you will get a pickup email from Lagos VAC by early next week.

It seems all applications are going to Abuja now cos I also submitted in Lagos.

Good morning everyone. it is advisable you send your passport to VFS in Abuja thorugh UPS at Lekki. Once you do that you get your stamped passport after 6 working days.

Mine did not spend more than 6 days.

It's getting serious now. I forwarded my passport to VFS lekki since 24th of October and up till now, no result. I tracked my passport and got :
"Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office on 2022/10/27. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website".

I have sent several emails to VFS and what I keep getting is :-

Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting VFS Canada Visa Information Service Centre in Nigeria.
Kindly note that your parcel is not yet ready for pick-up, you would be notified.

VFS hardly call especially if you didn’t pay for them to contact you for collection. It’s either you call them or just go and check if you’re in Lagos or Abuja(depending where you submitted).
