I have thought about this issue on ground very well, it occurs to me that maybe there is more to why our resident sanctimonious our lives are so perfect because we are perfect squad is trying to shut debrief up? One would think if their lives were as perfect as they claim, they won't be bothered by the stories that is opposite to what they claim theirs. Could it be that maybe debriefs story is very familiar but since they have embraced the Naija mentality of sweeping things under the carpet, debrief talking about it makes them confront the reality of their situation abi ki lo fa lalakokofefe about someone talking about their experience. This myopic way of looking at things as always been your undoing (yes, I Sabi u very well, go and hang yourself if it does not sit well with you). When they tell you to remove your head from your yansh and expand your horizon, you will be huffing like a goat.

You can only appreciate the present when you look at the past. A person who used to be poor appreciates his wealth today when he looks back at when he had nothing. Yoruba people say bi eru Ba mo inu ro ni, a dupe.

The fact that this young lady talks about her disastrous first marriage does not mean she is bitter or unforgiving,  it means she has a great appreciation for what she has now. If you want her to shut up about how she escaped a bad marriage, then be ready to shut those people who bombard the board with articles that divorce is not an option, that people who put their desire to remain alive above staying in a marriage are somehow defective and they will be miserable for the rest of their lives.

If no one can shut those people up, then leave debrief alone to tell her story. We need a balance and she is the only one here who can provide it because of her first hand experience. Anyone who has a problem reading a survivors story can go take a dive off a bridge and if you survive, come back here and tell us your story. Some of us will be more than happy to read it because we understand one person's experiences can be a source of inspiration for others.

the extra votes were actually added for onlytruth, i checked the polls daily to ensure they were locked and not visible to members,

i monitored it because we all know how low some people can get, just so they can say they won.

Gbawe was always leading uptil  last night before  a member created the cork series username,gbawe was leading with close to 30 votes and all of a sudden onlytruth got 20 more votes in 15 mins. I realised what was going on and i locked it, that was like an hour before the actual polls expired.

Its for fun but some people had to  try something just for ordinary forum award.

Hahaha, it is not enough that they rig the Eze or whatever the hell they call it in his favor they wonno install onlytruth as poster of the year. Una don fail.

Do you mean "keep preaching CHRIS" because no way has this man preached anything remotely close to CHRIST ever. He is the leader of the PASTOR IS YOUR ONLY COVERING gang aka People who have sold their brains to pay tithes to pastor for his approval.

Giving this man poster of the year is giving credibility to the nonsense he and other pastor worshipping zombies peddle on this section every day. We are trying to knock some common sense into them, then you people turn around and give their number one person the award.

The title thing is very true, we can see it everywhere even on faceless Nairaland they fight for title. My friend's father owns a block of 3 bedroom flat, there are about ten flats on the property and majority of them are rented by Igbos, at my last count there is only one Yoruba family.

Early this year, they sent word to my friend's father saying they want to hold election for estate chairman. I was like, what the hell? If there is going to be estate chairman is not logical that it is the owner of the estate that will be the chairman but the man just laughed and said they can go ahead with their election.

Come and see them on inauguration day, even Obama the first black President of the US did not have as much airs as the man that won the election. Before a week was over, he already printed out business card with Chairman of So So Estate, everywhere he goes they call him Chairman, Chairman, Chairman. It would be funny, if it weren't so sad because I think there's an underlining patheticness to the whole thing.


About the business and Money making aspect, I agree 100%. You can say anything about the Igbos but you can't deny they are resourceful but I also agree with Negro_Nations that the Igbos can't take all the credit for their success in the business world, you should also credit the other non-Igbos who were accommodating. What is the point of having all the business sense in the world if there isn't a conducive environment to put it to work.

The author of the article missed the one part, he forgot to add that Igbo hate giving other people credit. They and they alone are the best. They are the only ones who is brilliant. Na them only be the strongest, the fastest, the biggest, the richest, every other tribe is nothing compared to them and anyone who tries to challenge them on these issue is only jealous of them. They may think they are showing pride in their tribe but they don't know they are showing the inferiority complex feel deep down. In my humble opinion, we won't be having a lot of tribal issues if other tribes can understand the real motives behind their self aggrandizing. They don't mean to insult other people, they are just trying to make themselves happy and everyone has a right to be happy.

This pastor worshipping zombies are scary oh. I'm trading their posts with mouth wide open. How can people be this dumb, did they forget God have us brains for a reason? See that useless Godall about what does she call herself cursing someone up and down because they dare to call her pastors name. How are these people different from Boko Harem?

Firstly, I don't think this is the place to start searching for your life partner
Anybody could just jump at the offer and pretend and take you for granted

I try to keep out of other people's religious beliefs but sometimes some people say some things and you have no choice but to butt in. This is one of this times,

Mabelle I don't know how old you are and I'm hoping you are ten years old because that is the only explanation for your ignorance. Did you even read what you wrote you foolish pastor worshipping bint? Pastor is her only covering? Are you crazy?

If pastor is her covering where is God in all of this? If they call you daft now, you will take offense but what else can  you call someone who puts their trusts on another human being.

I pity your life, I just hope you don't commit suicide the day your pastor falls off the pedestal you have put him on.
