firstly...there's no phone browser...I think it came preinstalled with UC browser... that's the phone browser...

secondly... that default music player is crap..download another reasonable one

I finally got this baby yesterday. its looks really cool. G2 rocks... but am having an issue right now,I sub on my air tel sim and my phone isn't connecting,its saying which wlan do I want to use. pls help a novice out ooo.

ajayidebo: I bought it yesterday...31k at Ikeja...was evening thinking of flashing a custom rom on it ...but after I saw the comment of the guy that just brinked his phone cus he deleted some apps..I changed mY mind.. by the way I like the stock rom on it..and it works smoothly..I use the business theme..i like it a lot.. until I see a perfertly working 4.2 custom ROM I see no point why I should flash the same 4.1 version on my new gadget.

symbian03: Huawei probably signed a deal with mtn with this old and outdated phone just to sell off the old stock - now see mtn offering rubbish 50mb per month for 12 months lol :-) Nigerians are gullible and tech freak so people will definitely buy them off.

Just to correct people's notion about Huawei phones and android devices. Huawei is a tech giant in china and have a far better android phones example is the Huawei ascend p6 with 2gb ram, Corning gorilla glass, 312 ppi pixel density, with jellybean 4.2.2.

After three months of using my Gionee Gpad G2 I am here with a review.
Save money and buy a better brand!
Some annoying quirks but they are things anyone can live with. Annoying all the same. Firstly the phone restarts randomly. Secondly, the ringtone always changes to default and goes back to your setting when it likes which is like once in a week. The inbuilt tone it will revert you to is funny enough monotonic in this time and age. The most annoying one is that my vibration is dead! It kept on going low till it stopped working. It is painful cos I like having my phone on vibration all the time.
Apart from these, the Android experience is very pleasurable. I don't regret it cos it has strengthened my resolve to continue using Android. However if you are looking for a phone that will last for at least a year without annoying quirks, it isn't these Chinese Oems.

but sir do you mean this phone is trash and isnt worth the money at all. Cos thats what i want to buy today o. Pls reply asap o,cos i dont want to go and waste my hard earn money on what isnt worth it.
