My name is Eniola and I’ve been following this thread for a while. Mainly because I am a student/research assistant at the University of Ottawa in Canada and I belong to a research team working on a project that amplifies the experiences of non-resident mothers in Canada.

Essentially, if you're a Nigerian woman who's given birth in Canada on a temporary resident visa, including a visitor’s visa, work permit, study permit, refugee status, or without immigration status at all, we want to hear from you.

Birth tourism is not illegal in Canada, despite the actions of border agents or immigration officers. By sharing your stories with us, we want to create a project that is capable of influencing Canadian policy for good.

Bring like 50passports in all...might not even be enough sef cos the way UI is going,you might start dropping 1passport before coming in and going out of the school gate.

You've been very good to me in providing info so I feel obliged to reciprocate. Umm, I was at UI today. I did my xray at Jaja Clinic (would collect the result 2mao), paid bundled fee and accom. at UI microfinance bank. Went to my hall, kuti and spoke to the supervisors. They clearly explained that hall clearance would begin Saturday coz ystday, the mgmnt mandated the porters to come on Sat. Most of the things to bring for the clearance are on the portal. i ll try to list;
student fee(downloaded after online payment of fees)
receipt(send to student email after payment)
jamb adm. letter
5 passports
hall application form
hostel authority to pay
school fees authority to pay..

no I dnt. But m currently with my aunt in Ibadan...wen u go 2 d bank..u'll see d account numbers pasted. Go with extra N200 each for bank charges

If u want to pay in IBadan..kindly go to stanbic ibtc along ui road,they have all the accounts details....that first bank beside ui are forcing people to open a bank account when dey wanna pay for anything concerning ui

first bank near ui for accommodation n stanbic near u.I for school fees. d accounts vary..I got my pin after an hour @ first bank...n afta 30 mins @ stanbic.

you will get your receipt from the finance office of your faculty when school fully resumes...after that you can tear it :-D

If you're tired at this level, do you intend to quit UI after experiencing how tedious the workload are. you still have your hall, departmental, faculty, GSP and medicals. buckle up cos there's a lot ahead. I recommend that you come around to school so that people can help you moreover there's a temporary accommodation for u freshman.
