Let me say something.

If you have ever gone into CBN and see the way the staff are working and the kind of people there, you will know Nigeria’s problem is deeper than you think.

When you have a sensitive system occupied by incompetent people, people who got the job through slots and nepotism.
Enter cbn office and see their staff watching movies in their laptops, doing little or nothing other than occupying space and earning salaries

How do you expect such system to function
100% correct, i have been there before trying to obtain a microfinance bank license and i have never seen a set of arrogant, entitled, corrupt and inept set of workers, infact i was told that 80% of their staffs are children of who is who in nigeria and even the management cant enforce staff discipline at all, which equally explain why there are sometimes more intelligent economic analyst on nairaland than the CBN and thier trashy policies that has landed nigeria in its current economic nightmare

Let's take a kook at household's for the smallest subscriptions of 2,500....say about 10m homes in Nigeria that's another 25B naira...minimum.

They will be making up to 100B naira monthly.......

Tobacco production and business is one of the most profitable businesses in the world.

Phillp Morris producers of " Marlboro" is the second most popular brand globally after Apple.

The pharmacology of nicotine in tobacco makes the herb the second most addictive drug after heroine. Cigarettes are highly addictive and indulgence cuts across all religious and ethno divides.

In the 1970's and 80's before advocacy and WHO reports on the environmental & health implications on smoking was intensified, Tobacco companies made staggering and mind-buggling profits from sale of cigarettes alone.

The margin on a stick of cigarette is almost 100% e.g cost of producing 1 pack is 0.49cents and sold at $1.46 on the shelf.

BATN produces for the Nigerian Market and exports to other West African countries with it's headquarters in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

The fine of $110m if converted to naira with the current exchange rate is an excess of N120B and it's a significant amount.

Civil Society, opposition and the media should monitor this particular revenue so it can be put to judicious use and not just end up in the pockets of politicians.

The funds can be channeled to productive avenues by government.
super brilliant bro, in support of your advise the funds should be channeled to our health facilities Nationwide where the victims of the cigarette induced ailments go for treatments

The woman basically has no
defense and is confused on what
to do.

These Buhari appointees were basically
just moving cash out of our treasury into
private accounts without any form of pretenses, so long as mumu Buhari has
approved the expenditure.

Again, once the money is moved, nobody
checks whether it had been used for
what it was intended for.

Most of these Fulani appointees don't
know how to stylishly embezzle, they
just do it like herdsmen or kidnappers
that physically just steal and keep
hundreds of millions of raw cash in the bush.

I can bet that she is frantically trying to
get in touch with Buhari ( who has soft
spot for Fulani women) to talk to
Tinubu, but bubu has refused to take her
calls.

What makes this innocent looking
woman so wicked is that she specializes
in stealing from children or the poor.

absolutely correct, In Nigeria there's an unwritten code among our past leaders that no sitting president should probe an ex-president, but can probe thier appointees, and believe me those appointees are always the ones that pillage our commonwealth mindlessly, Deziani is hundred times richer than Goodluck, Umar dikko than shagari, late Chief Fasawe than obasanjo, then buhari was the worst of the lot, his appointees like Malami, Emefiele, Sadia Faruk, Isah Funtua, mamman Daura, even including Aisha the wife stole so much that their great great grandchildren will never know poverty again, even Bubu is now in complete shock upon realizing what happened under him while just answering Mr president Commander in chief of federal republic of nigeria

Romance / Re: Have I Been Meeting The Wrong Ladies Or Is It A Nigerian Thing by Satazaa: 3:25pm On Dec 08, 2023
CaveAdullam:
All (Nigerian) men have experienced this phenomenon. Except those that are strictly introverted or haven't requested a date.

There are plenty of factors underlying the unresponsiveness of women. Factors can emanate from you or them.

1. Women are more open and emotional to men closer to them. Proximity is how you get the better side of women + become aware of their dark sides.

Before a woman can travel from point A to point B to see you through a long distance you must have first created that emotional attachment.

But why do women travel long distances to meet strangers?

This is based on economies. They do it because of money. A prostitute can't become emotionally attached to her client. If there exists any, it is a facade. By the way, prostitutes have men they love genuinely + freely fvck them.

The evolutionary background: women by nature are weak. They need strong men to provide for them and protect them. A stranger can't be trustworthy. Only men in their community will they submit to because they've known over time.

Sex to women is more of security than pleasure. Sex for men is more of pleasures and ego - the boast of a harem.

So prostitutes are because of the money. Because if there is an availability of men to pay their bills and fulfill all their sincere and nonsensical fantasies, prostitution will be non-existent.

Therefore, in rich and developed nations, women engaged in romance for the sake of romance, love, and emotional attachment.
While in poor and underdeveloped nations women leverage romance to upgrade their socio-economic status and creep out of poverty and deprivation.

2. She might be in a relationship.

3. She's in a tarrying bad mood. And can't willingly share with you because you are a stranger. With time she may. But as a man, you'll become impatient because by nature you're not programmed to wait and beg for sex. You just want to hit and move to the next.

4. She doesn't like you. Every woman has a man they like or fantasize about. If you are not up to that standard they will ignore you.

5. Appearance. Your looks may not be ranked as acceptable. Using that metric, they set you aside and wouldn't want you to bother them.

6. Absence of flamboyance at first meet.

Women are emotional. So they can easily be cajoled by the presence of flashiness. This again is due to their desire for security. That's why celebrities can score many women + have multiple baby mamas at will.

If you don't express or show flamboyance women won't take you seriously.

Only well-trained women who are self-conscious and disciplined follow a man due to his ambitions, character, and intelligence. These women are the outliers.

7. It's a mind game. Women don't want to appear cheap. So they'll play the delayed and boring game till they know if you are genuine or not. They don't want to feel cheap.

8. Other men are on the radar. Some of these men are 10 times better than you. Some of these men you are 10 times better than.

This trooping of men of all ages and categories is the pleasure of all women. Some of the men are making bidding you can't or haven't. They fill her with hopes and promises. Her DM and privacy are a cluster of men persuading her into a romantic relationship.

Don't expect her to leave them for you easily. You are not the first. And more are behind you.

9. They want a long stream of persuasions and promises before they accept your proposal. Until you do this they will continue to remain boring.

From the above factors, the only one you have control over is your appearance. So, before you step out look good, smell nice, and talk well. Be happy and jovial. Be humorous and social. Whether they accept or reject you becomes none of your business. Just do your part.

Getting women is a game of numbers. The more you step out and interact, the more women you'll encounter and get hooked by a number of them.

Meanwhile, as a man, you must go for a woman who likes you genuinely. These women you don't need to cajole or convince. They just like you + want to be in love with you. They will make you wish and pray for an eternal romantic relationship.

Have you seen secondary and university lovers? That's what I'm talking about. Genuine love.

Thanks.

Romance / Re: Age 25+..what Advice Would You Give Someone Age 18-24? by Satazaa: 8:28pm On Dec 05, 2023
10thTenthMan:
1. Analyze, understand and discover yourself, your personality, your capabilities, your strengths, your weaknesses and the Sins you are very susceptible to and battle with. Know thine self in and out. Most times those Sins are why you are on earth to train your spirit to mature and overcome them. And those sins can destroy you. Is it sex, cheating, greed, pride, bad temperament, violence, betrayal, stealing/theft, gossip/slander, gluttony, ungratefulness, etc?

2. Have, set and define your long term goals and aspirations in life. In fact Define who you are going to marry as a matter of fact and when and the number of kids you intend to have. Etc.
Have a vision board for these goals and aspirations.

3. Identify and create your plan and aspiration towards financial freedom. E.g identify what makes you happy and how you can earn from it while doing it.

4. Always Break those goals into tiny steps and tasks and be focused on achieving these in tiny steps so that you are always working towards your goals.

5. Plan every year (January) what targets and objectives you intend to achieve and paste this on your vision board in your room.

6. Take action and DO IT EVEN IF YOU ARE AFRAID. Always take action and do it afraid.

7. Ensure you understand the principle of Unity consciousness where simply put, thought+knowledge+action+affirmation brings RESULTS/MANIFESTATION. Try to imagine only good outcomes. Do not focus on negative outcomes. Everything from your thoughts, words and actions must be geared towards a positive, pleasant and beneficial outcome.

8. Show gratitude whether things work your way or not. You never can tell what you have just been saved from when your wishes/prayers don’t come true.

9. Do not rely on anything or anyone to be happy. Happiness should come from within. Understand and try to ensure you are happy even on your own. Celebrate being alone and enjoy your own company as much as possible.

10. At your own pace, go slowly and be stoic. Do not fret over what you cannot control. And do not fret over what you can control. Just go ahead and control it. Worrying or hurrying is stress. Plan properly so you don’t need to hurry or worry.
best advice by a mile, welldone sir
