you are very biased and note this statement of yours displays sentiment all thru, not everyone in a particular tribe is a tribal bigot but you already displayed you are also because youvsaid bigots not referring to one but almost all if not all. The woman in question made a very big mistake and also erisco himself made a big one I have delivered items to them before but would you take it if someone comes out publicly to say you killed someone which in turn people start spreading rumours about it. it's not done anywhere, you don't say sumtin as such and expect things to just go like that, if the lady had taken down her post when she was told to, it wouldn't have led to this but she was proving stubborn.

If you have ever built up a business from scratch you would not have written this rubbish!

Small Money !
Only 5 Nigerians can pay off these loans now.

Only Dangote worth $13.5 Billion

Oya mention those 5 Nigerians.

For your information net worth of a person and the person's cash liquidity are two very different things.

If you add all the unencumbered cash in Dangote's personal bank bank accounts it will not be up to $1billion!

Asonaijaaso:
The real Nnamdi Kanu is not the one in Jail
Thats the clone, He was cloned during Buhari's administration.
This one is from Sudan.
if you look at his ear, you will notice that one is slightly smaller than the other.
Also this one has a small scar on his left left leg.
Tell him to remove his clothes next time he is in court and jump on one leg.....the whole world will see he is a clone !

This one is Mazi Nnamdi kanu el-sudan. He is from the zoo. Let the clone remain in jail.

The real one is still free in Biafra.

So you also noticed grin

Doolove:

I'm not knowledgeable about those things, the guy said he will have to order for it online because the laptop parts is scarce. If I had money I would have taken it to market myself and inquire from others.

I think it's just the screen of the laptop that got broken, the motherboard and other critical parts should still be Ok

Here is how you can improvise, if you have a flat screen TV, I would suggest you get a HDMI cable and connect the laptop to the TV or external screen so you can use it for the meantime to do your work

The PC is not mine, so I don't the liberty to sell it.

Since it's borrowed I think you should have been more careful with it

Doolove:
I started a remote job this month with a pay of 30k. It has not been easy but I’ve managed to survive largely due to the advance payment that I’ve been collecting from my understanding boss.

Just few days to the end of the month, I’ve been dealt a devastating blow that has put my job in serious jeopardy. My work laptop which is even borrowed fell and the screen broke, going blank instantly. I don’t know where to start from as I don’t have a dime on me. A tech guy that I asked said the laptop screen would cost me $40 minus workmanship. I spoke to my boss but he said his hands are tied because laptop is a requirement for the job.

Please I plead on the good people of nairaland to help me save my job. Everyone that I have asked have had one excuse or the other to give so this is my last resort. I am open to any sort of verification.

By the way, why are you quoting the estimated repair cost in dollars, are you not in Nigeria?

TripleA1:
Which Nigerian bank has the best customer packages for dollar account?

You should be more concerned about where your money will be safe than the interest they will pay you on the dollar deposit.

Go with GTBank or Zenith Bank although I am aware that UBA pays interest on dollar deposits but the amount is very negligible.

On no account should you keep a significant amount of your savings with a fintech company which promises to convert your money to dollars and pay you a mouth-watering interest, they can close shop at any time and you kiss your money good bye

I'd prefer if you could BORROW some common sense and move back to Romance section.

The yoruba adage goes; ''a child being fed never understands the meaning of famine''.

If you took the time to consider spending N950 on a pack of spaghetti and N300 on an egg to keep your body and soul together, you wouldn't be here spewing rubbish.

People return here daily after a long day's work, seeking valuable information to improve their lives. Yet individuals like you come here solely to elongate threads unnecessarily.

Come on, kiddo, go do something meaningful with your life.

My bad, I only just realised I strayed into the thread for economic migrants (UK Branch) grin

While we're at it I hope you guys remember to visit Nigeria occasionally so you can get some natural Vitamin D from the sun and eat real Nigerian delicacies such as...
suya,
efo riro,
ofe onugbu,
amala ati ewedu
nkwobi,
gbegiri
ofe nsala garnished with mangala fish
point and kill,
bush meat
African salad
akara
moin-moin
masa
akamu
okpa with a bottle of Coke
ewa agoyin ati Agege bread

I know some of you are already salivating grin

Too bad, continue eating your chicken and chips, burger, spaghetti with sauce that does not contain pepper and the rest of the tasteless oyinbo food tongue

The bolded proves that you haven’t lived in the UK or amongst so called native speakers. The most common phrase here is ‘You was’, even TV presenters say that on a daily basis and no one bats an eyelid. The most important question is, are they communicating? Does everyone understand the point they are trying to put across.

How many times will I tell you guys that I don't live in the UK, have never lived in the UK and have no desire to live in the UK or any part of Europe or America for that matter...I prefer to just pop in and out of Europe when business or pleasure takes me there!
