Politics / Re: ACN Scribe Rejects Jonathan's Pib Appointment. by saveuspls: 8:55pm On Jan 18, 2012
@Gbawe, why did you gladly post this story? could you please educate me if there's anything I could learn from it

I like to know what good lessons I can take home from this post to have warranted being in the front page.
Moderator pls. take this to the joke section.

What happened to all the [b]'it's not just removal of subsidy rhetorics but fight against corruption' if the very people we look up to as alternative would be playing politics with the very novel ideas they were advocating during the strike. HYPOCRISY I assume?

This lends credence to GEJ's ascertion that the protest in SW was truly hijacked for reasons order than human rights and good governance.
I weep for this country.
Politics / Re: Subsidy Protest Hall Of Shame by saveuspls: 12:15pm On Jan 16, 2012
I will list 1.) Tunde Bakare 2.) Femi Falana 3.) Nasir El'Rufai and 4.) Femi Fani-Kayode into this hall of shame, such disgruntled elements who out of no genuine concerns for the masses but more about 2015 battle wanted to spin the whole crisis in their favour.

I hope Nigerains will remember the part played by xters 1 and 3 in the aftermath of April 2011 election and how they publicly justified the murder of the same people they now claim to fight on behalf or how xter 2 chooses the the human rights abuses he fights for (remember Lekki toll gate, lasu fees etc). Xter 4, OMG, not worth my time. El'Rufai records in human rights abuses at FCT speaks for itself.

They all failed woofully, my opinion though,

I've punctured this analysis severally on NL. It shows whoever did the calculations doesn't know the ABC of oil business. It is a case of ignorance gone on rampage. I won't bother to repeat my corrections here again except to ask; Where does Mobil, Total, Shell, Chevron etc get the money to pay for staff, recoup investments, gain profit etc. Anyone interested can google it.

Doctokwus "What's your point?"

The point is that you are either ignorant or an hypocrite like Falana. Ask yourself where do states and LGAs draw their money from when they go cap in hand every month end for allocation? Do they run on FG budget or theirs? They all draw their monies from the federation acc. Each tier of government then budgets based on her share of the revenue. Besides, OICs takes about 30% of this revenue, so also 13% derivation to the oil producing states etc.

I've always thought Femi Falana was a man of integrity, but this analysis has proved me otherwise. he is such a bigoted hater and political jobber like Bakare who will go to any length to deceive average Nigerians like you.
