Pakingzzz: All you are doing is just to confuse people. Either electrical is generated and converted to physic phenomenon as light sound torque etc or dipole created and the load neutralize the dipole, it still means the same in a more confusing way. If you believe there is free energy maybe you tell us how to create thevso called dipole from nothing or from sources that is not an energy source. The 3 phase of a thing: go back to your physics and basic electricity or principles of electricity or better still google 3 phase principle, you will see it is far from what you are saying. Yes we read books and we know it might not explain all what is happening physically. I know you think deeply to come up with this fact of yours or you read it somewhere. But let me tell you what i think about it. The earth serving as a wire is not for electricity transfer but for grounding to prevent electrical shock and other purpose and that is why the neutral doesnt shock. DELTA CONNECTED 3 phase doesn't need a neutral to work, each phase serves as 'neutral' for one another in the phase order of the phase sequence. The neutral is generated as at the secondary winding of transformer that is STAR CONNECTED. The principle is that the sine wave angle is divided by 3(3phase) because the coil is being energized 3 times in a cycle. 360/3=120. Sin120= 0.866. 415v/(0.866x2)=240v That is how a phase voltage is 240 between any line and a neutral but a line-to-line voltage is 415 which doesn't need a neutral. My conclusion is that energy can never be created nor destroyed but can only be transformed from one form to another. There are renewable energy which available eg solar generated by the sun, torque by water flow or wind etc. I hope this helps someone. |

chemystery: You are right, there are many ways to arrive at the answer and if 4017 is d way easy for you, it is ok. My own past experience when wanting to design 128 colomn tells me that 4017 is not feasible because according to what you said, if you tap each clock from the uC you will need more IO port. Apart from the problem that 74hc595 is not available (but available in lagos), 74hc595 is d best. The data shifting might be complex but you can write the program once and for all. So when adding more coloms u dont need any additional pin from the uC. At the end of your tutorial i will post my circuit simulation, and software written with PIC C using CCS compiler if you will permit me. |
Science/Technology / Re: Design And Implementation Of LED Dot Matrix Display by Savotech: 7:40pm On Apr 27, 2016 |
Good work bro, but why are u using 4017 it is only good for just 10 columns. If we need more than that we have to cascade the 4017 which u and i know thats its not easy to do. I dont mean to disrupt your tutorial but i think using shift register will be easier than a decade counter. Shift register like 74hc164, 4094, 74hc595 etc |

darediamond: 1Gh is not easy to generate oga. I stand to be corrected, no microcontroller can achieve that, even raspberry pi that is very close to a full computer system is 700mhz. Except fpga sha... Apart from the oscillator, the transistor or mosfet that will drive the transformer can it really work that high frequency? I am not saying it isn't possible but its not gonna be easy. 1 Like |

Jamzig1: You can get some embedded guru to take you a one on one training. I do one on one training and i know gurus like princejude, arcontree, 9free, guassian, sportsmaster etc (forgive me if i dont mention u) will be doing that also. But like sportsmaster said, start from somewhere. Google is there, youtube videos is there to teach you, and whatever questions u have u can ask us here. Its so easy to learn it yourself. 5 years ago when i started, i dont have someone to tell me this and i had to learn from someone that doesnt even know it; the person always get code from his own oga also. It was almost like a waste of money. But one of the things i gained was that my interest in embedded system was aroused. It was my own personal development and God on my side that take me to where i am today. So even if you learn from someone, you still have to go online for some research and more knowledge because a man can teach you only 30% of what he knows, not that he intentionally wanna hide things from you but there is no way he himself can remember everything he knows at a time, it will take challenges in field work fir him to remember what he knows in a particular area. My conclusion is that you develop yourself personally and take someone that is ahead as your mentor, you will go far with that. 2 Likes |

temizeee:I dont think they sell the solution at local shops. And even if you see, they might be concentrated which yoi probably wont know how to dilute it. Its better you get from a shop that specializes on electronics and pcb materials and not to find out a chemical shop. You can get them in lagos at oshodi but if you are outside lagos, the guy selling it can still transport it to you using the 18seater bus or whatever. If you are interested i can give u the number of the guy that sells. He didnt pay me for advert so i wont post his number here. Contact me on Savotechng@gmail.com and i will link you to him for free. No hidden charge... But remember toake pcb u will need hand drilling machine also. 1 Like |

Electronzeez: There is a whole lots of ebooks on embedded Systems programming online. There are some that talks about programming generally and some will emphasise on a particular microcontroller using a particular compiler. So when you are reading, have that in mind. You can go to www.pdfsearchengine.org then type embedded Systems programming in C, or microcontroller programming using C, etc. It will bring thousands of pdf books and writeupswhich u can download 1 Like |

mexzony: You got the picture... Proteus ares is for professional design. I have been using pcb wizard 4.0 for years now and it has been serving me. Though it has limited component but so far i know the distance between the legs of the components, i can easily create a manual footprint for any component. Auto routing will limit u in a lot of ways. U will still need a lot of work in placing the components where u want them to be and it might also give u a lot of jumpers than expected. It might use a thin line where u want a thick line. But all the same for specific purposes autorouting is good. Eg i used it when i want to do pcb for a 4x4 matrix keypad. I drew the keypad using the circuit designer or livewire and i imported it to pcb wizard and so on. |
Science/Technology / Re: Electronics Circuit Design From Concept To Implementation by Savotech: 9:45pm On Aug 24, 2015 |
mexzony: Sorry for that, to manufacture it locally, you need to get a raw pcb, a mirrored or glossy paper to print the pcb design using laserjet, a design software like pcb wizard, a laminator or iron, an etchant, but to see a good demonstration type pcb making on youtube. |

seunot: Yea, we will let them be but we cant open our eyes and see them confuse people especially those that are not in field of technology. They should do their research and get a good result before posting it online. Though everyone has a right to post online without any restrictions, but a good inventor wont post a half-done job online. He should finish his job and probably patent it before posting it here because someone like me might just get the idea and overtake him... Lol.... |
Science/Technology / Re: Self-powered (fuelless) Generator Design by Savotech: 4:59am On Aug 20, 2015 |
seunot: Hmm... I agree with you that nothing is impossible, but some laws can be broken and some cannot. Law of conservation of energy cannot be broken. Even simple human reasoning will tell you that u cannot get something out of nothing. Do you think faraday or any other ouldn't have discovered how to generate electricity from nothing. I will agree fuelless generator is possible only if that person can prove law of conservation of energy wrong. Case closed. |

I dont know if electronics gurus out there has seen or used this useful tool. Its a gas powered soldering iron and gas torch. I ordered it from aliexpress about $9.00 and it has been very useful to me. I dont need to burn my fuel all because i want to solder, i can do any maintenance job on site that involves soldering without looking to for power or find an extension box. The wattage of the soldering iron can be varied with the gas burning volume knob. You can solder electrostatic sensitive board without having to check that your soldering iron doesn't have leakage current and You can solder conviniently. I dont know if its been sold at oshodi or alaba but i just thought of sharing this with the house, because untill early this year i never thought something like this exist.

princejude: Well, i really dont know why he used got i stead of while. I believe when he comes online he will explain himself. But that goto is not a good C language function is what i cannot agree with u cos i use it a lot too. When i am working on a function that calls another function recursively, of course the compiler will give u recursion error so i use goto statement to control the program flow. Using CCS compiler, do u know that the compiler give a warning whenever u use while(1)? Not that it is wrong to use it but reminds u that u r using a constant as the arguement instead of a variable. That means that the main purpose of a while loop is not for a constant to be passed in as arguement but a variable, but we can always trick the compiler to pass in a constant which is an unchanging variable. So i dont think using a goto function is is a bad programmimg practice if u really know what u r doing. |
