Jomonix:Wrong. Many intelligent Yoruba are Obidient. Only the Ronus and Sharia Yoruba are suffersticted. |
flokii:So Lagos ports were built by Lagos state government? Why are duties higher in eastern ports like Calabar, Onne and Warri if not to discourage people from SE and SS from using them? One country indeed. One day, these people will see through your Yoruba and their Fulani masters treachery. |
Bribe for 2027. E no go work o. Unless Obi no dey ballot. |
mightyhaze:Suicide everywhere in the SW o. They're still teaching Igbo lesson. |
Slytiger:Stop the lies. There's no single proof that a Yoruba man has ever died for himself, talk less die for an Igbo. The Fajuyi dying for Ironsi lie has been busted long ago as another Lagos-Ibadan expressway media lie. |
Yoruba Muslims make bad presidents. In fact, Obasanjo did well because he gave the most sensitive positions to Igbos. |
Had he dared the military and announced Abiola winner. The last time some naive Igbo tried making a Yoruba man prime minister, it turned into a calamity for the Igbo. The very Yoruba these Igbo officers tried to elevate joined hands with the British to push the Igbo coup narrative. Convenient delisting members of their own tribe who participated in the coup. Have you noticed that it's mainly Yoruba fighting against honoring Prof Nwosu? This is despite the fact that he staked everything in a bid to make sure Abiola became president? Thank God he wasn't too foolish like the naive Igbo officers to announce the election results. Like the 1966 guys, the Yoruba would have still betrayed him. Are you even aware that Abiola was already warming up with the classic Yoruba betrayal? Even before the election results came in, he said he could do without the Igbo? That's why people like Arthur Nzeribe dealt with him. As we warm up for 2027, let's bear in mind that as southerner, a Tinubu presidency will never favor any southerner outside his tribe. It's a dilemma of sorts... |

Cindypresh:Not tenable unless it's Obi/Atiku. Otherwise let Tpain continue peppering Nigerians. As far as I'm concerned, Atiku lost his chance when he betrayed Jonathan for Buhari APC. Tinubu is currently serving what would have been Atikus second term. Let him take back seat and mobilize for Obi or let Tpain continue |
buckeyemedia:I agree with him. You're a known zombie around here.
|
Ttalk:Even if he snatched and ran with the mandate, which he obviously is clueless what to do with, simple assignments like giving honor shouldn't be too difficult na |
LegendHero:You could be reasonable atimes, making me doubt you're really an APC zombie. Are you sure you're a Yoruba Muslim? |
Africa is incredibly rich in natural resources—diamonds, gold, oil, and more—but the benefits often don’t reach the majority of its people. This is due to a mix of historical exploitation, systemic corruption, and global power dynamics. For me, I think resource control by natives may be the solution. A first step solution. Secondly, I think most Africans whose land bear immense resources should clamor for independence from colonial contraptions. Them they all must halt exploitation of their resources until they build the capacity to do so themselves - exploration, extraction and processing should be indigenously done. European contraptions like Nigeria, Angola, Congo, South Africa, etc are profligates meant to serve the white man, not Africans. |
Putinofrussia:A Yoruba man actually told me that " a typical Yoruba man has expertise in denying reality" I never heard truer words from a person from that tribe. |
dominique:I had a friend whose friend asked his friend 'jokingly' what he would do if he committed suicide. The friend told him he should greet Tupac for him if he did unbeknownst to him that the guy was serious about the suicide thing. He actually did kill himself. In these things, I think it's better to err on the side of caution. Someone is already angry on X that it was an Igbo man who bailed out the Yoruba lady. I think that's wrong. Our humanity comes first. Anything anyone could do to save one soul is sure worth it. Everyone knows that the wicked politicians of Africa are mostly working for the devil and it won't get better anytime soon. That's why I hope that somehow, a person like Peter Obi would make it to power. A man who really cares. |
Peter Obi obviously clearly won the 2023 presidential election. The reason why he gives Bola Tinubu's henchmen sleepless nights. |
I agree. Yoruba men with Igbo wives make good leaders.

helinues:Nairaland dickhead |
Every country have their terrible. Have you heard of Ivan the Terrible? Not a bad idea that Nigeria has Tinubu The Terrible. By the way, how is the coalition doing? Heard Nigerians are waiting to vote out the terrible |
According to Ronus, this is the only Igbo from SS part of Nigeria. Are Ronus not clever?
|
Ikaeniyan0:Opobo is Yoruba. You know there are no Igbo in SS except Nzeogwu/ |
Brenbentondiaz:Is Buhari not better than TinubuisTerrible? |
AdesegunSanni89:Jonathan's people abi? |
Salewa97:You corn people love people who grab, snatch and run away with people's mandate, we know. |
Ikaeniyan0:Is Wike who is causing the wahala in Rivers Igbo? |
Mr Yakubu chose to write his own name in the mud. |
Wike said Funara is not an Ijaw man. Copilot: Nyesom Wike, the former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has claimed that Siminalayi Fubara, the current Governor of Rivers State, is not an Ijaw man. Wike stated that the Opobo clan, where Fubara hails from, is not considered part of the "real" Ijaw. Wike himself is from the Ikwerre ethnic group, which is distinct from the Ijaw. The Ijaw are one of the largest ethnic groups in the Niger Delta region, while the Ikwerre are primarily found in Rivers State and are often considered part of the Igbo subgroup, though this is sometimes debated. There's a historical argument suggesting that the Opobo people, including the founding of Opobo town by King Jaja (Jubo Jubogha), have ties to the Igbo ethnic group. King Jaja himself was of Igbo origin from the Aro Confederacy before establishing Opobo in the Niger Delta. Over time, however, the Opobo people have developed a distinct identity, shaped by their coastal location and cultural interactions with other Niger Delta groups, including the Ijaw. This blending of identities makes the question of ethnic classification for Opobo more nuanced, as it sits at the crossroads of historical and sociopolitical contexts. |
Nice |
duro4chang:Are you aware you could become a victim of the bullet of thousands of BH members integrated into the army? Of course that's not your concern since people from your place love their stomach more than their lives. Kanu stood against possible ethnic cleansing of natives and was declared a terrorist, while your government actively and aggressively support the real terrorists by pardoning and rewarding them. I know you'd rather die than see Igbo exit Nigeria, not because you love Nigeria but because you're from one of the parasitic regions living fat on resources of others. |
Good you're aware he's the angel that could rescue Nigeria from the demons holding her hostage. You're making progress. It's not yet weeping time. That's 6 million votes despite APC rigging and voter suppression. 6 million votes without Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Edo North due to Wike, Akpabio and Oshiomole. Weep Not Yet Child |
zero8zero:Seun of Nairaland, don't you have a rule against spamming in your forum? This idiot posts this same lines in all his comments and it's just as if this is not a moderated forum. Imagine this nonsense on Quora or even X. |
