Ordinarily, I knew about this but not now as it completely skipped my mind that Mr Atiku was VP twice. Be that as it may, Obi should head the coalition while more influential northerner like El Rufai should deputize him. Kwankwanso should have been a good deal but his arrogance ought to have been put to rest knowing thaaat Obi is far more popular with six million than his paltry one million votes.

Two reasons:

1) He won the 2023 election but they cut his votes in half, doling out three-quarter to Tinubu and the remaining one-quarter to Atiku. Their objective was tro push him to the third position and make it even more difficult for him to reclaim the mandate Nigerians gave him.

2) They see him as the only threat capable of defeating Tinubu in 2027, so they focus on trying to demarket him before Nigerians. I'm sure billions are being spent by this government on "Anti-Obi propaganda"

No. Reward in heaven is a function of work and how much a Christian becomes like Jesus. Restitution when ignored can even bar a believer from heaven. Whatever wrong you did needs to be corrected on earth, especially if the one you wronged is still alive. Remember Judah tried to pay the harlot he slept with with the goat he promised her but couldn't find her. His efforts at payment freed him. So every believer should make amends but with wisdom. Especially when prompted by the Holy Spirit.

In as much as I am an ardent supporter of Biafra, the Igbos, and Nnamdi Kanu, as an Ijaw man it annoys me a lot to read and listen to some of you talk rubbish about my people. Una dey craze well well.
And as much as I hate Adaka Boro myself for his myopic actions for supporting Nigeria instead of being neutral and pushed for the Niger Delta Republic that he had agitated for, I will not have you guys disrespect him. Neither Nigeria or the former Eastern government have a right over us as a people; because they never represented our collective interests. We are a people bound by circumstances of British colonial rules.
Adaka Boro had all rights to call for secession from the Eastern region, especially since the first coup happened which created distrust. But only for Ojukwu to crush it and send him to prison( same thing we accuse the Nigerian government of doing to Nnamdi Kanu). And then, within just a few months, the same Ojukwu who arrested and imprisoned Adaka Boro called for secession from Nigeria. How then do you expect Adaka Boro or the minorities to support Biafra after seeing how Ojukwu crushed the Niger Delta Republic movement? So, it's unwise for Igbos to accuse the Ijaws or other minorities for going against Biafra. We are not fools.
We the Ijaws in particular, have lost more than any group of people in Nigeria, except for the Biafrans killed, which also includes the Ijaws and other minorities. Our resources are being wasted in one Nigeria everyday, while the people remain poorer. Our air, water and land, are being polluted without consequences or compensation by one Nigeria. We are treated as conquered people and territory by the south west and north because of the Biafrans war. The Biafrans war remains our biggest regret till today. Something which wouldn't have happened if Ojukwu had allowed Adaka Boro and his newly declared Republic be.
So, you guys should stop disrespecting the Ijaw people. We are suffering because of Britain, Ojukwu, Gowon, Adaka Boro's shortsightedness, e.t.c. And today, Nigeria has failed all of us, and so it needs to be destroyed to allow everyone go their separate ways. As an Ijaw man myself, I have chosen to destroy Nigeria the little way I can, and if that means alligning with you Igbos and Biafra to do just that. There are no permanent enemies in politics but permanent interest they say.
You should do well to seek an alliance with us the Ijaws and other minorities in order to destroy this British fraud. So stop saying things that add salt to injuries.

You just changed my perspective about Ijaw people. Never knew there are many southern minorities (Ijaw particularly) who reason like you.
If only more Africans would cease being teleguided by the strategic masterplan of the British. Whether Ojukwu or Gowon, the stupidity we read about was vintage African short-sightedness of that era just as we have it in today's Nigerian politicians, Southern minorities must unite with the Igbos to arrest the Yoru-Fula existential onslaught on us all.

You cannot tell a leopard to change its spots. Did you read the story of the Yoruba returnee who was nearly abducted by the police? Did you notice that he said that he was saved by 'Igbo boys' not 'Yoruba boys' and not 'Hausa boys'? Fighting against injustice is a natural Igbo character. Did you notice that the incident happened in Lagos where there are more Yoruba than Igbo? Fighting injustice is a naturally built-in Igbo trait. It is just unfortunate that Igbo have to share country with people who take advantage of that trait treacherously. Awolowo betrayed Igbo officers by acquiescing that Igbo coup narrative for instance. The so-called NADECO that fought for Abiola's mandate had several Igbos, but did you notice how Yoruba tried to belittle the work of prof Nwosu? I once saw policemen trying to exploit some Hausa peasant in Lagos. Before I could even think about it, I intervened and stopped them. It was so natural. Should Igbo stop fighting for justice because we are in a country where one-third hate us? Your guess is as good as mine.

I keep saying it that the only solution to the hatred for Igbo is an Igbo-only country. It just doesn't make sense trying to live in the same country where people only find unity through hatred. All the hate the north and Yoruba had for Jonathan was because they perceived him an Igbo or affined to the Igbo. All the hatred Yoruba had for Obasanjo was because they saw him as building bridges with the Igbo for his belief that Igbo have the most competent people in Nigeria. All the love the Yoruba and the north showed Buhari and have shown Tinubu is rooted in their belief that these are men with eternal hatred for Igbo. What the minorities never would realize is that the hatred for Igbo makes it impossible for these same people to do anything that would be in the best interest of the minorities. That southern ports are not functional is because of Igbo. Who would have benefitted most from Igbo commerce if these port work? Southern minorities. I can go on and on but I won't. That's why I see any Igbo or even southern minority who thinks they have a country as ignorant.
