Look let me educate you. The Nigerian military as presently constituted can't solve insurgency problems in the country because these guys engages them in guerrilla warfare. Nigerian soldiers are only good in conventional battle, that's why the succeeded in Liberia and Sierra Leon and flopped with Boko Haram since 2009.

Guerrilla warfare requires lots of intelligence and tactical expertise which the military presently lacks, their best bet is to import mechinaeries from countries with expertise and experience in guerrilla war.

Your Odi suggestion is a joke, it will even fuel the insugency the more because military continuous attack on the masses will provide the ground to easily recruit me more foot soldiers for the insugency.
