It is true that Daniel Craig is reprising his role as the titular spy however, writer John Logan who worked on the screenplay for Spectre has revealed to Huffingtonpost that Idris Elba will be starring in the untitled bond movie as an ally of James bond from San monique the little island from Bond's 8th outing live and let die featuring the late Roger Moore as bond. John Logan says he was inspired by Antoine Fuqua's Tears from the sun and went further to explain that the location of this fictional country has however been changed from the carribean to Western Africa, "it is a more gritty depiction of the country than in live and let die as there is a subplot which has a dominating tribe prey on another tribe of the country denouncing them as outsiders and idris Elba plays Dr. Nnamdi Mezanine a religious scholar who doubles as a spy for the united states in exchange for a emancipation deal for his tribe". John Logan agrees this is a rather dark premise but will not overrun the general tone of the movie which he describes as having the same tone as the taken franchise only this time bond goes rogue to take down spectre as revenge for the murder of his wife Dr. Madeline swan on the orders of the head of spectre Ernst starvo blofeld.Bond 25 has not been titled yet, it is directed Danny Boyle and filming shall be concluded on the 19th of November this year.


With the success of black panther and David oyelowo's gringo,I am quite excited to see this one however there have been about 3 fictional different movies which has depicted nigeria as a terrorist nation, this worries me as this may come around to bite us in the butt if we aren't too careful with how Hollywood depicts our country
