it's very simple..... How many presidential aspirants have shown loyalty to Jagaban as compared to Obasanjo?

Don't tell me you know more than the politicians that understand what national politics and influence is all about.
Why would PDP presidential aspirant show loyalty to opposition party leader?

PoliticsTake It Or Leave It: Jagaban Is More Influential Than OBJ In Nigeria Politics by Scarcitato(op):
JAGABAN!

If you are a politician, this is my advice: Be like Tinubu (Jagaban) dont be like OBJ. I read a post here doing comparision
between Tinubu and Obasanji, forget political offices held by this two in the past whether one is superior to other and international recognitions talk about there influences on individuals and on Nigeria Politice and how to play the game.

Forget politics, this man is a political
enigma. Rewind to 1999, I am sure most of us have forgotten the names of the People who were elected Governors then. Some of them have gone out of circulation. Some are gasping for breath politically. Indeed, most of them are no longer relevant today.Who still remembers Mbadinuju of Anambra State, Jolly Nyame of Taraba, Mohammed Lawal of Kwara, Segun Osoba of Ogun, Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto, Achike Udenwa of Imo, Victor Attah of Akwa Ibom, Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia? That one has lost two consecutive senatorial elections. But Tinubu has not only managed to remain extremely relevant, he has continued to control Lagos politics 100% and have more than 50% contributions this present administration. No argument that this is strong as Olumo rock. Check this list below.

1. Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN was Tinubu's
Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. He is today, Nigeria's Vice President.

2. Rauf Aregbesola was Tinubu's Commissioner for Works. Today he is serving his second tenure as Governor of Osun State.

3. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN was Tinubu's Chief of Staff and successor in office. He is today Nigeria's Minister of Power, Works and Housing.

4. Alhaji Lai Mohammed was Tinubu's
first Chief of Staff. He is today, Nigeria's Minister of Information.

5. Babatunde Fowler was appointed by Tinubu as Chairman of the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service. Today, he is the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

At the National Assembly, there are countless "Tinubu boys" who have occupied and are still occupying seats till today.

2011, Iyabo Obasanjo was voted out of office in her father constituency by Tinubu boy (Jeremiah Olugbenga Onaolapo Obadara) still occupying the seat.

Same 2011, Tinubu endorsed Amosun while Obj did the same for Gbenga Daniel, I hope u all know the result.

Someone that can not win his constituency for his daughter will win the whole nation for Atiku?

Since 1999, the Tinubu camp has produced almost 98% of the members of the National Assembly from Lagos State.

Not only that, he manages to carry his boys along and today they occupy critical positions in our national life.

Take it or leave it, Tinubu is today, Nigeria's most powerful politician. It didn't just happen by chance. He worked very hard for it. Very very hard.

The hallmark of a true leader is not just the ability to rule well but also the ability to nurture and groom his associates.

Tell me One or Two people Obasanjo had produced that still remain at the top.

Obasanjo endorsed Atiku or not doesnt bring any changes to South West, Just imagine yaself if Tinubu decamp to PDP today what do u think will happen to APC and Buhari.

The JAGABAN!

Nairaland General10 Things You Need To Know Before You Visit China For The Very First Time by Scarcitato(op): 8:55pm On Oct 08, 2018
China is a large and complex country. With a population of over 1.3 billion and a 5000-year history, it is not surprising that there are significant differences between China and the Western world.

As an Australian coming to China for the first time, I was completely at odds with my environment. I wasn’t a fish out of water – I was a fish in the frying pan! I quickly found out that the only way to survive in China is to go with the flow. If you don’t swim, you’ll sink. And if you don’t swim fast, you’ll be caught and cooked.

Below are some of my learnings from spending 3 months in China.

1. China is a loud place.

Chinese generally do not lower their voice when speaking in public (in fact, quite often they raise it). You may find yourself on the street next to a man shouting at someone on his mobile phone or be stuck in the middle of a group of people having a loud conversation on a bus. There are more people per square meter here than anywhere else in the world. Chinese have learned to speak loudly to be heard. Get used it. Bring noise canceling headphones to help drown out the background.

2. Space is at a premium.

You will often find yourself squashed or pushed around in public spaces. Lines for food, tickets or customer service are seldom orderly. Taking public transport is like going to a rock concert. Be prepared to have “your” space invaded, but learn to hold your ground firmly. Otherwise, you will be walked over.

3. Outside is dirty; the home is clean.

Chinese have learned to keep a clear separation between anything outdoor and indoor. Clothes and shoes are to be worn outdoors, whilst pajamas and slippers are for inside. Everything worn outdoors should be washed thoroughly. Hands should always be cleaned upon entering an indoor space. This makes perfect sense. I think this is a mindset that more Westerners should adopt.

4. Chinese treat their guests like royalty.

If you are lucky enough to be invited to a Chinese person’s home for dinner, you will be presented with a banquet of eight or nine dishes. Your glass will never be empty. You will be very well looked after the entire evening. Chinese hospitality is second to none. Enjoy it, thank your hosts for having you, and try to repay the favor if possible.

5. Spicy Chinese food is on a completely different scale to that of its Western counterpart.

In Australia, chili is generally an after thought. You might add some chili sauce to your steak or shake some chili powder on hot chips. In many Chinese cuisines, however, chili is the main ingredient. Know what is on the table before you eat and know your limits. Your stomach is not used to taking the level of heat that many Chinese can. Eat smart or you may end up in hospital.

6. You will say “ganbei” a lot.

When drinking in China, you “cheers” your companions before every sip (or before downing the whole bottle). Look your drinking companion in the eye and say “ganbei”. It is a fun and social way to drink. You will quickly learn to love it.

7. Toilet paper is valuable commodity.

Be sure to always have a packet of tissues on hand as it is not always available in public toilets. There is nothing worse than being stuck in the loo halfway through your business and discovering there is no paper available! Whilst we are on the topic of toilets, you will need to be prepared to use the Asian style squat toilets. They are not as bad as they initially seem and are actually more hygienic than Western toilets. You can find some useful tips on how to use a squat toilet here .

8. Road rules do not exist.

Cars do not give way to pedestrians. Buses and trucks do not give way to cars. The bigger the vehicle, the bigger the bully. Tread carefully when walking in public and try to cross the road with other people. Watch out for bikes and electric scooters – they are silent and can come out of nowhere!

9. Do not travel during Chinese New Year.

In the Western world, we have holidays at Christmas, Easter, the middle of the year and often one other time during the year. In China, there is only one main holiday – Chinese New Year. It is the one time that everyone gets to have a holiday. The cities shut down and nearly everyone goes home to visit their families. As a result, the transport systems are in complete chaos. It is best to avoid any travel during this time (unless you enjoy feeling like a sardine in a tin can). If you must travel during this time, book early and plan for delays. Whatever you do, do not visit any tourist sites during this time. Trust me, you will regret it.

10. Enjoy the ride.

China is a place like no other and is well worth experiencing. By taking a trip to the middle kingdom, you will be amazed at how people live side by side with so many others. You will leave with a newfound appreciation for the space and environment of your home country, and praise its cleanliness and orderliness. You will be more tolerant and open to change. You will not complain about traffic like you once did. You will be grateful for things like clean air and open spaces. Coming to China has made me a better person. I think it will do the same for you too.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is seen riding a bike in LA just two months after open-heart surgery (Photos)

Legendary actor and politician, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was pictured in good spirit as he went for a bike ride two-months after his successful open-heart surgery.

The 70-year-old action star and former California Governor was spotted engaging in a sporting activity for the first time in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Arnold who rocked outerwear with tiny blue shorts and brown slip-on shoes smiled during the afternoon bike ride. He was also joined by a male pal.

This comes less than two months after he underwent a life-saving heart surgery at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, to replace his pulmonic valve.

PoliticsNnamdi Kanu IPOB Leader Challenges Court Order Banning Group by Scarcitato(op): 4:29pm On Sep 22, 2017
Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer of the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has filed a motion in court to challenge a Federal High Court's order proscribing the group's activities and branding it a terrorist organisation.
Ejiofor disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday, September 22, 2017, arguing that the order was illegal.

He revealed that the motion, dated Thursday, September 21, was filed on Friday to contest the decision of the Abuja division of the Federal High Court.

In the motion, Ejiofor argued that the separatist pro-Biafra group is a non-violent organisation in contrast to what has been claimed by the government.

He also said the group's leader was not allowed fair hearing before the decision to ban the group was reached by the court.

On Wednesday, September 20, the Federal High Court in Abuja granted the Federal Government an interim injunction proscribing activities of IPOB.

This came after the separatist group was officially branded a "militant terrorist organisation" in a statement by Director, Defence Information (DDI), Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, on Friday, September 15.

This was followed up by an official proscription of activities of the group by the South East Governors' Forum later on Friday after an emergency meeting in Enugu.

Kanu's whereabouts have remained unknown since he publicly accused the military of invading his father's compound in Umuahia on Sunday, September 10, a confrontation that led to several violent clashes between soldiers and civilians throughout that week.

Christianity EtcJoseph Ayo Babalola : His Early Life, Ministry And Death* by Scarcitato(op): 11:08am On Sep 18, 2017
Joseph Ayo Babalola, the founder of Christ Apostolic Church, was born on 25th, April 1904 in Odo-Owa, Ilofa, Kwara state.
He was born into the family of late pa David Lawani Rotimi and madam Martha Talabi Rotimi.
Babalola was born and brought up in Anglican Church. He was brought to Lagos by his uncle, Mr. M. O Rotimi who was a teacher at C. M. S.
Joseph attended an elementary school at Oto-Awori on Badagry road, Methodist school, Ago Ijaye in Ebute meta before moving to Osun where he attended M. S. C school in Oshogbo.
He stopped schooling to learn Blacksmith and later became a stream roller operator under PWD(Public Works Department).
He became a prophet of God in 1928 when God called him on Akure - Ilesha road in October 9th by river Ariran. On 11th of the same month and year, He was also called by God to abandon his job and start preaching.
Babalola harkened to the voice and received the call when he fasted and prayed.
Joseph was later sent out of Anglican Church in his village by the Bishop because majority of the church members have being seeing visions, speaking in tongues and praying energetically. He was baptized at Lagos Lagoon in 1928.
Babalola first miracle was in September 1930 when he woke up a dead child, a week later, He also healed lepers, blind and lame people.
This brought about the great revival of 1930 which recorded massive attendance from Africa and Diaspora without advert.
Babalola ministry was given Bell, Water, Staff and Bible. The bell was used to invite Angels of God during prayer gatherings and the water was used to heal people of their sicknesses.
Babalola’s shortest and brief prayer was that of 3 to 4 hours. It was remarked by Elder Abraham Owoyemi of Odo-Owa that the prophet regularly saw angels who delivered divine messages to him and that An angel appeared in one of his prayers and forbade him to wear caps.
In 1930 Faith Tabernacle affiliated with the British Apostolic Church. Then following a separation in the Apostolic Church about 1940, Babalola went with a new independent church, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), where he continued his healing and revivalist activities until his death.
It was recorded that Babalola wasn't the sole founder of C. A
C as people do think today. The church had three (3) founding fathers, the registration of the church under cooperate affairs commission in 1943 gave credence to this as Pastor Akinyele and Odunbanjo was recognized as the first president and vice president / General superintendent respectively while Ayo Babalola was known as the General Evangelist.
The great Apostle of God died on July, 1959. This happened almost 30years of his calling.
As at today, the church is still in existence with international recognition.
The CAC regards Babalola as an apostle and his revival ministry as the beginning of the church. A CAC retreat center and University in his name have been built at Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State where Babalola was first called in 1928 by God. By the special calling of Ayo babalola b4 the End of this year, you will share a bigger testimony that will suprice everyone in Jesus mighty name (Amen)

Nairaland GeneralRe: Sergent Rogers To Nnamdi Kanu: You Are A Joker That Should Be Dealt With. by Scarcitato(op): 8:37am On Sep 18, 2017
Nairaland GeneralSergent Rogers To Nnamdi Kanu: You Are A Joker That Should Be Dealt With. by Scarcitato(op):
This is certainly not the best of times for the self acclaimed Supreme Leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, as the Nigerian Army has launched a manhunt for him barely 24 hours after the group was declared a terror group and banned.

The group, which has been agitating for the realization of the Biafra Republic, was also proscribed and banned by the five state governments in the South-East region.

The decision was reached following an emergency meeting held with the five governors with the Nigeria army’s GOC 82 Division Enugu, Major-General Abubakar Adamu on Friday.

While proscribing the activities of the IPOB, governors appealed on President Muhammadu Buhari to withdraw the military personnel deployed to the region to initiate the Operation Python Dance exercise.

Kanu who has not been seen in public since his country home was invaded by military officers last week, is said to have gone underground and has been reaching out to members of the international community to compel the Federal Government to put a stop to the killing of unarmed members of the group.

Meanwhile, former member of the dreaded Strike Force and Presidential Body Guard under the Gen. Sani Abacha, Sergent Barnabas Jabila popularly known as Sergent Rogers, has called Nnamdi Kanu a joker who should be dealt with seriously.

Jabila was overheard discussing with his friends in a church in Abuja that the IPOB leader should be ashamed of himself as he is running away in the face of the battle he has been looking for.

“He is a joker and should be ashamed of himself. He has caused the deaths of some of his followers and now he is leaving them behind. He exposed them to be killed and now he is in hiding and cannot even bury his comrades, that is very shameful,” Jabila was heard saying.

“Kanu cannot come and cause confusion in Nigeria. We are going to find him and deal with him seriously. We know everywhere in the South-East and will apprehend him very soon and then teach him a lesson so as to prevent such occurrence in this country,” he said.
